You guys came even get a hotfix right? Which you worked on for weeks? This is really pathetic. One last reason to buy AUR, GONE. First, you did nothing to armor and cpu levels on reactive plays and armor reps. Complete joke. Allllllllllll my suites are the same. This hotfix was for the scout b.s

This isn't the full change we wanted, but we couldn't get the increased delay working and we still had the rest of the patch ready to go. No point in holding back everything else when we can put it out there and get some good changes in while we wait.

Out of curiosity, does that affect the duration after pushing the button on the cloaking device or does it affect the weapon switch decloak?

No, we pushed them back as we didn't have enough time to get them to a point where we're happy. They're top of my list for the next hotfix.

The reason?
For the glory of the self-repping Plasma Cannon and Plasma Rifle carrying Gallente Commando (which I was doing ever since the introduction of all the suits).

Also, the stun locking needed to go away. I don't care if it was causing hit detection issues...it just made running away from high ROF weapons impossible. I really hope I see some more min scouts speed tanking again because of it.
And the blaster turret...OMG YES. I hope the endless ambush tank spam dies for good.

Yes, because it's much easier to watch a video about what's wrong than try and trudge through the mess that is the bug reports/technical issues subforum :/
So...I guess I better make another video about the hidden nanocircuitry bonus then X)
(for those that don't know, it's a 5% cpu reduction to nanohives and injectors per level, that is only stated in-game in the skillbook description, in the marketplace section where you can buy skillbooks...but not in the skill node description)

Either it gets removed, or new bonuses are introduced for the other equipment skills. As it is right now, nanohives that currently cost 88 cpu only take up about 46ish

Personally I'm of the opinion that we should extend the bonus to the other equipment, but there's some numbers we would have to crunch first and a discussion that would need to be had internally so don't take this as a sign it's coming.

Why are you DECREASING the delay? It needs to be increased!!! Right now, with the latency figured in, a person is DEAD before they ever see the animation complete as it is at 0.5 seconds... You need to increase that **** to 1.0 seconds or more!
If there is anything that needs to be decreased, it's the time it takes for me to do ANYTHING after I let go of the button for using my repair tool!!!! Seriously it's like a full second before I can swap to a weapon, SPRINT!!!, relock repair tool on same target (or any other target), throw grenade, etc. That **** needs to be decreased, not the decloak times!!!!

If you can fire as soon as the animation finishes, shortening the animation could actually mean that firing-from-cloak is even more effective . Would be good to have clarification on this. |
