So you really expected Dust to be around for 10 years when the PS3/X360 generation was coming to a close and even remarked as being one of the longest generations that needs to end?
C'mon, you're smarter than that.

Thank you for doing so, the sheer volume of BS being peddled by the butt hurt is just amazing, this subject stands out at the front of the load they are spewing, dust wasn't funded by some crowd sourcing initiative and I doubt its even made a profit from all these "donations" that ppl have handed out, I'm sure someone could estimate the costs involved in dusts staff, assets and bills, our aur purchases probably don't even put a dent in it.

CCP made a commitment.
People spent money based on that commitment.
CCP reneged on that comittment.
End of story. So you accuse me of "wordsmithing" but you believe that you've been scammed out of your money? I'm only doing what I have done since I arrived on these forums, speaking the truth and common sense. Lord Vyper wrote: So while I completely respect your post. Dust players are not forced to spend money at all. You guys chose to do that. You have access to all the same content but just didnt want to wait for it. I say this as an early Beta Dust player to now.
It's truly unfortunate. I don't think anybody read the quote in its entirety. All they reading is "you QQers need to stop QQing". Strange, when you read the quote. He says something for my side of the argument and for theirs. No one sees that though because they blinded by negativity.
I would like to hear your common sense explanation of how that comment was innaccurate.
Did CCP not state they were laser focused on the PS3?
Did they not renege on that commitment?
Did people not spend money on the game precisely because of that commitment?

Does that even register in what little brain you have? You know you keep throwing your little shots at me. But I know its because you lack any rebuttal that is significant enough to quiet me. Here's what my "little brain" has registered. You're comparing a game to a necessity. I brought up donut because its a sweet, something that you don't necessarily have to have, like entertainment. The gas store analogy is poor because everybody needs gas. You don't come around, they got thousands of other folks who will supply them with business. So your analogy doesn't work correctly. Yet and still, you fail to understand that if it isn't in writing then what you are doing is based on "good faith". Which means, it is not guaranteed that the results you get is what you desired but still you must understand the post effects if you do act on "good faith". Please, lets keep this discussion clean instead of trying to attack characters here. Forum wars means nothing and its stupid. Think about your response and respond to me. I have no problem with constructive arguments that have merits.
I believe you started the "little shots". I said exactly what I was thinking and you asked if lived life and did my mom and dad pay my bills? Let me guess, that is not taking a shot?
No, gas is not a necessity. Don't believe me? Ask someone who doesn't have a car.
My analogy is spot on. It's not about WHAT they are providing, it is that they ARE providing.
My responses are pretty much cookie cutter at this point. It is the same thing in every thread. My opinion has not changed nor has what it would take for me to play Legion.

I'm glad you posted that. We need more constructive, truthful posts instead of what I've been seeing around here lately. And this has been going on, for what, about a year now? The subject changes, the execution and the frequency of it is still same around here.

End of story. You're acting like your money means that you were paying CCP to make the game. In reality, all you wanted was the self gain. If you were really comitted to the health of Dust, you would keep helping it, and not necessarily for anything in return. People who spent money were helping CCP develop the game. Or atleast we thought they were. When you spend money with any business you tend to think that they have a plan to spend a percentage of that money on their products, correct? You do think like that do you not? Yeah, except that this product was bein built with bad materials, and for the better of the company, it had to get new equipment and move to a new location, so now, not everyone has access to it.
In the end, the money spent was for the good of the game, was it not? The move to PC will be for the good of the game, will it not?
I don't understand people. A few months back, a lot of people wanted PS4 support, and through the move to PC, this will happen.
WTF is it that you want? Your money back? A new product?
Here's the big question: Do you really want Dust to be on the PS3 during the course of its 10 year plan that you keep referencing?

I am all for the move to the PC. Will I play it, doubt it. Why? Because to get me to play I would have one request and only one. That all my Aurum purchased be put on my Legion account. Even Aurum that has already been used in boosters. AGAIN, I know some don't understand this but boosters were bought and used on the idea that the game was going to be around for a long, long time. I know it is hard to understand how and why a person would do this, but it is true. I had faith in CCP doing what they said they would do. Be laser focused on bringing Dust 514 to the PS3. I guess I almost expect my SP to move over into Legion. The reason for this is that basically the money I invested into boosters would instantly be worthless if my SP doesn't. Had I known Legion was coming without an SP transfer, I'd have never bought them in the first place.
It would almost be the same as me paying on my satellite tv several months out based on an "incentive" they provided (such as a getting a small refund on my total billing costs at the end of the year) but then the satellite provider just says they're shutting down all reception a couple months after and keeps all my money I paid for a full year's worth of television, based upon their own words.
If CCP doesn't execute SP transfers, or provide some sort of Aur compensation if they don't, that's what it'll be. Payment for something I will not have access to.

The problem with the whole thing is that we FEEL lied to and disrespected. I don't think -that most players- want a refund or anything like that but we do want some feeling of respect and CCP didn't give us that. They seemingly lied to us about PS3 development and the future of the game by continuously selling us in game items and assuring us that they were focused on this game on this platform for the foreseeable future when in fact they had already moved resources to anther game and platform.
They implied that there would be progress and we inferred that it would be here and tried to stick it out through all the problems the game has only to slapped in the face with the fanfest announcement. To me it isn't about the money it is about how they treated me as a customer and a fan of their products. They have damaged their name by not being honest, straightforward or open about what they wanted to do. Some honesty would have went a long way but they decided not to do that, they decided -in the players eyes- to do what they wanted without any regard to their customers.

Just speculating on the OP mentioning Eve 2. Considering what happened here if they announced that and said it was moving to console because it was a better move for developing the game the shitstorm that would arise would.melt the webternet itself..
Playing the game badly since Replication

Don't waste your time anymore man. The answer/response here will be pretty much you should have known better and you don't deserve anything. You are nothing but a customer. Not deserving of any respect and CCP doesn't owe you any truths.
I hope one day this happens to Eve side people or worse. I'll come back to read the whining LOL

So if you want "Dust" (aka Legion) on PS4, and from PC it will be easier to transfer to PS4
Where does this myth comes from? PC architecture is apparently very similar to PS4 architecture, so logically, once you create a product that is stable for PC, the transfer will be a much easier transition

Legion is the only reason I feel my purchases were worth anything at all. DUST had no tangible future on the PS3, and going to PC will get us a higher quality PS4 port, faster.

I am a fanboy but I am hurt by it and I will be letting one of my EVE accounts go because of this. I have no other way to show how upset I am about it. I may let my main go but I haven't decided yet, it is bad customer relations and hope that they see that.
