If you are paying for something you think will be around for years to come on a console, and you find out otherwise AFTER already having spent the money, you would be rightfully upset.
People are not getting what they thought they were paying for (a game with a commitment to a playstation console). Stop trying to defend people who argue there is no reason to be angry. There are legitimate reasons for people to be upset. So you buy a donut expecting the company to stay there for 5 years and if they go out of business in a week, you're entitled to get your money back because you bought the donut not to consume but to keep the business going? The items you bought by AUR were consumed. You got what you paid for. It didn't say in the PSN, "buying this will guarantee that Dust will continue its 10 year plan". That's an incorrect assumption on your part. I buy a donut expecting a donut. I expect the donut to be relatively fresh, and have the basic characteristics of a donut (sugary, doughy etc). If I am buying a donut, and have been told it is a donut, and am handed a bagel, then I have right to be upset. CCP stated they were laser focus on the PS3. Many people spent time and bought boosters because they believed they would be able to leverage those skill points in the future on the PS3, and logically the PS4. Likewise, people spent time on the game believing their was a commitment to the game, directly because of CCPs past statements. I am wondering if the parts of your brain that can empathize with others are working correctly, or if you are just a troll.
But you got the ******* donut!
Now you just have to eat it and walk away from a dyeing Krispy Kreme.

They got a game that, just months after release, was secretly moving to the PC and weren't told about the facts for months.
Those two things are contradictory. They are not the same. No amount of wordsmithing can make them the same.
CCP made a commitment.
People spent money based on that commitment.
CCP reneged on that comittment.
End of story. You're acting like your money means that you were paying CCP to make the game.
In reality, all you wanted was the self gain.
If you were really comitted to the health of Dust, you would keep helping it, and not necessarily for anything in return.

Or atleast we thought they were. When you spend money with any business you tend to think that they have a plan to spend a percentage of that money on their products, correct? You do think like that do you not? Yeah, except that this product was bein built with bad materials, and for the better of the company, it had to get new equipment and move to a new location, so now, not everyone has access to it.
In the end, the money spent was for the good of the game, was it not? The move to PC will be for the good of the game, will it not?
I don't understand people. A few months back, a lot of people wanted PS4 support, and through the move to PC, this will happen.
WTF is it that you want? Your money back? A new product?
Here's the big question: Do you really want Dust to be on the PS3 during the course of its 10 year plan that you keep referencing?

Not once in this post or any for that matter. A move to the PS4 seemed like the logical choice to me. Being blind-sided with a move to PC and not even sure a move to Ps4 will come according to the Dev posts was not in the plans for me. I don't want money back. Read my posts. I can even accept a complete and total loss. Don't need SP or ISK to move forward either.
So if you want "Dust" (aka Legion) on PS4, and from PC it will be easier to transfer to PS4, then JUST **** OFF AND LET CCP DO WHAT THEY DO BEST!!! (Develop PC games)

Where does this myth comes from? PC architecture is apparently very similar to PS4 architecture, so logically, once you create a product that is stable for PC, the transfer will be a much easier transition

I don't think -that most players- want a refund or anything like that but we do want some feeling of respect and CCP didn't give us that. They seemingly lied to us about PS3 development and the future of the game by continuously selling us in game items and assuring us that they were focused on this game on this platform for the foreseeable future when in fact they had already moved resources to anther game and platform.
They implied that there would be progress and we inferred that it would be here and tried to stick it out through all the problems the game has only to slapped in the face with the fanfest announcement. To me it isn't about the money it is about how they treated me as a customer and a fan of their products. They have damaged their name by not being honest, straightforward or open about what they wanted to do. Some honesty would have went a long way but they decided not to do that, they decided -in the players eyes- to do what they wanted without any regard to their customers. Don't waste your time anymore man. The answer/response here will be pretty much you should have known better and you don't deserve anything. You are nothing but a customer. Not deserving of any respect and CCP doesn't owe you any truths. I hope one day this happens to Eve side people or worse. I'll come back to read the whining LOL 'Tis true what you speak Robot. CCP should have been quite frank and more honest, but if you had known the fate of Dust, you would not have spent more money. That money will now go into the development of Dust II, so in the end, that money went to a good cause and is for the better of the game.
This isn't to say it is the bet for the PS3 customers...
This was actually quite a bogus move for those without a PC. I see your frustration, but again, it comes to the whole 'if you're spending this money on a game, you don't need it' thing. (Damn do I sound like a capitalist)

Moreover, who will really even try to compete with a PC? Remember this. Master package, I wonder if that's why PC gamers are self-entitled master race. Damn the hacks to hell.
Hacks will be present anywhere there is coding. Also, I believe CCP are very strict on this matter, as EVE hacks I have not seen.

We are all human. EVE has had its ups and downs as well. So I remember those things they experienced so that when this happened, its not all too shocking.
CCP isn't the only ones who "lied" here either. It seems the majority of the community lied too. In an odd way, I have never seen so many mercs express their love of this game since they announced the keynote. These are mostly made of the same mercs who said this game was dying and calling it a pos
And to be truthful, if they showcased 1.9, people would still find something negative to talk about. This so, so much. I don't understand why people are bullshitting fake feelings of betrayal. In all honesty, a lot of people didn't have real faith in CCP. Again, they weren't really trying to help CCP, but instead, trying to help themselves. People with true faith would accept this change as a change for the better of the game.
Again, this doesn't go for everyone. The loyal ones without a PC will now be left on this dyeing game, looking at the Elysium that will be Legion. I feel for those people that will not be able to experience the entirety of Dusts potential. I very much wish there was a way to meet at the middle, but there is no way to.
