Yeah, but much of the problems with protostomping were consequences of the terrible matchmaking systems and relatively poor balancing mechanics. On those rare matches when you get probably balanced squads on both sides, even with proto equipment, DUST can be fun and run quite close. That's part of what CCP need to get correct, right from the very beginning.

We're not necessarily out of the fight yet, just on standby. Hopefully towards the end of beta they will begin working on the port so that they release within a few months of each other. It would be a beautiful thing to see ex-Dust mercs on two platforms handing out asspoundings to the EVE pilots trying to elbow into our turf. We are the 514, and we will not forget RIP Dust
