Actually I'd rather see the elitist perceptions dissipate and the two games become a truly linked New Eden experience, where I have in-game friends and enemies everywhere.

It is not made for any elitist players. Simply for a bigger range of audience. The main reason is that console were never made for such a huge things like the dust and it's vision. They are made for fast, action and easy games to have quick fun ... That is what not many console players realize. Only way for dust to become part of EVE Universe is PC. The EVE Universe is complex, has a deep backstory, lore and overall huge scale. I mean this only makes sense. There is no betraying... only reasons. Dust is still cool, and to be honest, for a console, it is hell of a game.

I doubt it. Most Eve players on Dust are more adept than average because they already come equipped with the ideas of tactics, strategy and organic teamwork.

You are assuming Captain Spreadsheets has any desire to tear himself away from his Veldspar mining.

I'd laugh even harder if CCP goes full hardcore and puts war barges into the game as EVE ships. Imagine the tears when a Hurricane gank squad burns a warbarge to ashes and all 500 mercs onboard go down without firing a shot.

Anyone can buy a PC today, it gets even cheaper than a console. Doesn't mean anyone is elitist. The same thing can be said basicly about console players. In the end nobody is elitist so chill. There are just reasons for Dust to be moved to PC, quite a bunch. Not just because they are already struggling with optimizing the performance as it is today. Another reason is for Dust to become part of the EVE Universe there has to be no limitations. There are many more reasons.

without people playing eve for the past 10 years the following 3 things would not have happened

1 eve Valkyrie for occulus or whatever VR headset they end up using would not have been made
2 dust 514 would not exist and you would not be here being a dicklord to other players
3 eve legion would never have been announced at all


it's like listening to 14 kids pissed at their parents because without the parents being together the kid would not exist at all.

WOW players hate everyone who knew to not play that god awful game

and now dust 514 people are flaming on the people who helped shape eve into the game it is now... and from that they helped to make the last 2 years of dust possible.

stop being entitled PS3 players, it's a sad day when people are dicks on systems that only exist because the PC market pushed the boundaries of gaming technology to where it is now.

and PC gamers still push that boundary today.
