To celebrate 10 years of EVE Fanfest, during the week of the event (April 30 to May 7), you will receive 2x the normal Skill Points (SP) from War Points (WP) earned during matches! This means you can double the SP weekly cap, plus earn a 500,000 SP bonus on top for your performance and up to 10 million ISK!

HereGÇÖs the breakdown:

Between April 30 to May 7 (11:00 UTC), all SP earned from WP in matches and the weekly SP cap is doubled.
Earn bonus 500,000 SP and extra ISK per character! Every infantry kill will give you an extra 50 SP and an additional 5,000 ISK (capped at 10,000,000 ISK).
Equip any Aurum "Origin" dropsuit from the Origin Pack and reach the bonus cap quicker with 100 SP and 7,500 ISK per infantry kill!
The total potential maximum during this event is: double weekly SP cap + active booster bonus + 500,000 bonus SP & 10,000,000 ISK based on your number of kills.

With the 10th EVE Fanfest nearly upon us, we are celebrating by giving away 10 Origin Packs via Twitter. To qualify, follow @DUST514 and watch for our tweets from the 1st until the 5th of May! Granted CCP didn't exactly spell it out for you guys, but really? you guys need numbers, because words just "hurt your head somethin' awful"? sigh whatever. I hope the majority of people think it's 10k kills, and just don't play. that way the "FNG's with proto gear" number won't keep getting jacked up.

The 500k SP is bonus SP, as stated, which means it's aquired through the bonus SP from the kills, which is only 50. The 2x weekly cap will be the only thing effected by the rest of the 100WP (50 x 2) from the kill. So CCP either botched it's description, made this event work like no other it's done before, or you're the one who's special. Only two of those have any real chance of being the right answer. Why tell me the maximum I'm allowed to earn if it's impossible for me to earn it? It's like a government passing a law that says factory owners can't force their employees to work more than 26 hours a day. It restricts nothing. This cap caps nothing. Also, you're completely wrong: In this case, it actually greatly encourages exploiters and rewards them MORE than in previous events- for example, in the Commando event, if I got 750 kills as a commando legitimately, and someone boosted their way to 4000 commando kills, we both received the same reward of 750k SP. In this event, no legitimate player can ever hope to cap, so exploiters can actually get much larger rewards than any legitimate player. Nerdier than thou
