It's pretty evident that the only real voters will be people who care, and they usually tend to navigate eventually to a PC corp. So it's very likely PC players will decide the outcome of who gets elected. CPM does not work because the people running for it do not represent us. I need a candidate that has been the boots on the ground and knows first had the experiences we speak of to CCP. Without that - you're unreliable. Your facts and figures are useless if put into practical play they fail. Flaylock pistol nerf handling and other moves made by CCP highlight this problem. Sota - Do you actually care about the CPM or is this just another troll thread since the War Room is boring right now? Aside from me, I know that Appia is running as well as Radar (thought not sure if he meets he requirements posted by CCP) I had planned to run myself and take it seriously, but I can't be bothered to care enough to put that much involvement into this anymore. But, since I can't, I want someone who can. It's really that simple. If this was a troll thread the OP would of hinted at it.
No one cares whether you care or not, either run or GTFO.

What do you do if no one represents you?
Im in the same boat, no one on the old CPM or any of the runners use vehicles and i mean all vehicles on a daily basis
I didnt want to run but i feel like i should because if i dont throw my hat in i will never know, we could still end up with 7 infantry players like last time screwing up vehicles
In your case Sota we may end up with 7 players who havnt touched PC and competitive gameplay since it started
Im still with RS* and we did plenty of PC back in the day with EON but the corp got killed off due to GTA5 and fanfest so i slowed down with PC but i generally know what it takes and what happens from my POV at least, but yours will be different
You either run or dont because that is the only choice you have if no one represents you |

I'd like to point out that I am primarily a vehicle runner.

I play DS, ADS, HAVs, and LAVs as my primary skill spec.

Interesting concerns. Though, I am curious as to why you're posting with an alt when you hold the cards to your own argument? Legitimate question, not trolling.

I'm not wishing to be a troll and my dislike of the PC mechanic (not the concept, that I do like) may make you consider my opinion as not relevant to you personally but as a percentage of the entire player base, those competing in competitive PC is staggeringly low. I mean really low, if what I was hearing at Fanfest is to be believed.
Now hopefully the changes coming up in Alpha and beyond can reenergise the PC scene in Dust and pull it from the cycle of locking and passive ISK that plagued it so long. It's also 50/50 right now if PC in its current form will make it to Legion or be replaced with a new high end mechanic for the ultra competitive. Either way, I'll still do all I can to ensure that the ultra competitive players are catered to, in Dust and Legion and make sure that the game rewards them for such passion.
