this sounds horrible - the average fresh player has no idea how to handle the options menu.
just imagine how someone like that must feel when they start a Dust courier, have a horrible time of getting stomped anyway - and then they are getting scamed out of who-knows-what-big-percentages of their battle earnings and just don't know how to escape!
that is actively sabotaging CCP's efforts to increase or at least maintain the playerbase's size, and then a GM writes "you can always submit a support ticket" (what is something those fresh players should not know about either - and it is also something that would only count in a PS3-exclusive game if you could do it from the PS3's own Kiddie-Browser out - and i am not sure if it is, CCP cannot be allowed to maintain that lazy, to out-source all issue resolves to "the infinite possibilities the web from a PC out helds available").
anyway - my vote goes for the implementation of a promotion-prohibition-timer as well, would make it impossible to get "promoted" more often than 1 time per 48hours, regardless of title or promoter - and like that the possibility for such Newberry-Murder-Attempts would be just gone... . |

Lol. Would you like some vowels sir?
Anyway new players wont even know what a support ticket is. They may not even know their being kept againdt their will because when they apply to a corp they give up their roles BUT they wont know they've been re-promoted and will just think the corp they applied too doesnt want them.

I've been in the same corp or clan we'll over a year now and see very few playing Dust.
I'm looking to go to another corp soon if that does not change which I don't believe it will. I don't care how big it is, just want to see some loyalty and unity. Coming from a military family, that is very important to me. It's unfortunate that people have to take advantage of others in a game. Lack of character, integrity or both.

So then CCP should give us an ability to directly attack the players in that corp to "free" his isk slaves! Your logic would be sound if this is included.

CCP did not create a system to imprison players in a corp due to a loophole in the corp functions. CCP allows scamming through lies and deceit but always gives the player the option to listen or not listen to these liers. What the op has described is the ability to imprison the character with no way out. That is not a choice. |

Lolwut?
I'm telling people & CCP what duna2002 is doing. I dont care what he runs. How the hell do I sound like I'm saying the tanks are to blame?
Hes trapping people in his corp and taxing them. They have no way of not paying that tax unless they leave the corp.
Which duna is stopping them doing.
He then uses the ISK hes squeezing out of the new players on his tanks.
Thats why you see him in a proto heavy in a fully decked out tank. If you kill him he just roles in another. The reason he can do this is because its not his money his using.

Hello Twitter & not entirely accurate News Reports!
Senior GM Arcade is correct in that the current design is intended to allow mercenaries free movement between corporations, should you have roles within a corp simply drop them and hop out should you chose to do so.
In such instances where you feel players are attempting to run the enjoyment of others or are otherwise misbehaving then simply get in touch with CCP via the support system or send an e-mail to [email protected] stating your concerns and we will do all that we can to assist you.

I'd like a gm confirmation. GMs cannot discuss bans with other players. Indeed, please be advised that any correspondence, action or inaction between CCP and a customer account is confidential. Therefore CCP are unable to disclose or discuss such information to 3rd parties.
