Not all weapons are out yet, wait a bit for those heavies and we might be getting even more, maybe. When those come out I'll happily want a respect, got like 6 different weapons on level 5 that i don't use, got Scramblers at prof 4, i could use that sp for the rest of my caldari gear |

Dropsuit refund was because we got the rest of the racial dropsuits. Example; i really want a caldari scout or caldari heavy, but they don't have it out, so ill have to get by with this gallente scout or Ammar heavy. Those weren't choices we made, more like choices we were forced into. What you said was just plain rude you Donkey. |

Screw that, just let my buy a respec whenever I want from the AUR store. I don't even care if you charged $20 US, it'd be the only thing that I buy from the store! I don't care about AUR suits, weapons, vehicles, modules, and I've only bought an omega booster for the million clone event! Game-breaking they call it, but how can it be any more game breaking than the weapons they screw with every update? Why did my favorite CR's suddenly suck in comparision to the assault rifles? I've replaced my Six Kin assault CR for a BLOODY DUVOLLE ASSAULT RIFLE on PC matches! |

1) You can't be serious. It only takes like a month, maybe 2, to skill a weapon up. Going past prof 3 is a waste in a lot of weapons now anyway.
2) WTF did you do with the 2-3 mil we got like 2 weeks ago?
2) Be careful what you ask for. The circle of life nerf will come back around and bite you in the ass. LR and MD are making a comeback, I'm glad I still have those weapons because the CR is bound to have some unfortunate accident happen to it sooner or later.

Yes, it only takes a month of continued playing to skill up a new weapon, but you know what? Maybe I'm impatient but I hate being stomped for a month before I get something up to decent levels. Like the shotgun, it can kill just about any suit i have in 2 or 3 shots no matter it's meta level.
That million clone challenge can easily be spent. The total cost of every skill in the game as of 1.7 was 279 million skill points (and some change). Personally, I spent it all on Dropsuit Engineering and Dropsuit Electronics since my corp & alliance were encouraging players to push for those skills to properly fit suits for PC matches.
Lastly, I agree that the CR should have been nerfed, and in all honesty I agree with the damage reduction (to a point) and the proficiency skill change. But when a gun that should be doing 1386 damage a clip (Six Kin 21 damage per bullet * 66 clip size) takes a full clip of accurate fire to kill about 400 shields then I call BS and wish for a respec opportunity. Not because the weapon has been nerfed, but because CCP has messed with the weapon mechanics in such a way that it becomes hard to use or unusable for my needs. It should not take 2-4 clips to take down a medium or a light (even with the full light buff in mind). That's 2772-5544 points of damage needed to kill other suits! |

There's some bug happening then, as the CR only has a -5% efficiency against shields. Projectle weapons have the best profile in the game.

I skilled into the AR because it was part of the free fitting that every race received. Seven patches later I was finally given a Caldari rifle to skill into... by then I had already gotten AR op V and AR prof III. I also skilled into ScP for the same reasons.
We now have much MUCH more weapon variety. We NEED a weaponry respec.

How would it break the game? Because FOTM? Lol.
With or without a respec, a FoTM chaser would skill into the FoTM. That's why their called chasers.
Also, a FoTM is just that. A Flavor of The Month. Unless your offering a resec, every month, it wouldn't change anything. CCP would balance the item, and you'd be left with useless SP.
To Clarify:

That's not a bug. Projectile Weapons are supposed to have a -5% / +10% efficency.

We've already earned the SP, but due to many weapons being missing from the weapon list in 1.0 - 1.6 we weren't able to make educated decisions on what weapons we wanted. I agree we do need a weapon SP respec, but it needs to wait until all the heavy weapons are released and I am sure there are a few others we know nothing about. So I say wait for 6 months for all weapons to be released and then respec, anything before that would be a waste of time IMO. |
