I blame Logibro since his name is Logibro, although I have absolutely no basis for this claim lol. But, it's frowned upon in pubbies because of CCP's structuring of isk pay outs. Equip spam gives way too much wp. If they dropped nanos to 5, uplinks to 10, revives to 25, reps to 10 and guardian to 15 then I'd say it would be fairly balanced. In that case, a logi doing about the same amount of leg work as a slayer would get the same amount of points, at least as far as infantry slaying. As it stands, a slayer can push hard and win the game getting the most kills by triple the amount or quadruple of their team but still end up in 4-6th place thanks to logi spam losing their well deserved isk pay out that then might throw them in the red.
I can spam equips to make money, but then I just feel ****** later when I realize I rewarded good teammates by being a wp *****, further encouraging poor playstyles and proto stomps. |

It's actually pretty easy, I usually play team support, running with the rest of the army and helping them win the battle as best I can, this can be difficult if you can't communicate with them, so what do you do? Don't try, go off in the hills and do your own thing, pick off stragglers, put uplinks in a bunch of locations just to farm points, the great part of going solo is no-one relies on you to do anything so you're free to swoop in and wreck **** and take off, no obligations.

Easy, the same way I deal with it in reality. I am a loner. I am an only child with social anxiety disorder (it is why I had to leave the Marines, a team based endeavor). Therefore, I have come to rely on myself though it has its llimitations versus knowing that other people will screw you over or are never really that big of an advantage.
The only people who benefit from organized squading are FOTM, exploiting, spamming scrubs and I have been on the same team with Nyain San et al enough to know that.
As an independent contractor, I can go do things that require solo ops anyway such as riding around in advance of the group in a scout suit and dropping links and scanning, ninja hacking, distracting and delaying, sniping.

I generally look at the whole team as my squad, I support those I can, and go where I think I can make an impact in what way I can. Being able to read the battlefield is important to having fun solo. If I notice my team is redlined, I do what I can to fix that. If my team is being spawn camped, I take actions to stop that. Intense firefight in one objective, break out a new objective or disrupt the enemy holding point. Have fun doing what you do Terrible teams are only terrible if you contribute to the terribleness, many people on a "bad team" are looking for an opportunity to do something, but can't find that opportunity, try to make those opportunities exist and the team will respond. Don't expect them to respond a certain way though.
Also embrace chaos as being wonderful, it helps

Patrick do you want to know how I handle running solo. Do you want the truth. Well you can't handle the truth. The truth is that anybody who has the time to write evaluations for 15 other people during a battle cannot be a serious merc slayer. Haha. Just BSn. I feel like that often but then I get put on a team where I finish bottom 5 and it humbles me very quickly. Actually I'm humbled more often than not when it comes to this game. But I wont lie I took a pic with my phone the first time, okay the first few times I topped the kill/score chart. Ah man should've done a selfie.

I've done that once. And i took a photo.... of my 50wp, 1/0 kd game. I don't know what the other players were doing that game, but it really weirded me out to see 9 people below me with 0wp and 0/1+k/d. I just didn't feel right until i had a game placing 16th, and then everything went back to normal again. Ahh, average-below average, you sweet giver of anonymity.
Shouting doesn't make your opinion seem more valid, it just makes you seem more annoying.

This. Lol, yeah right. Here we have the standard vanilla assault attitude about not trying for the objective right? Well, 1.8 is going to change that attitude. You already have the FOTM scrub vanilla assaults planning to run scouts.

I even bothered to take a pic of it, because this is a major accomplishment for me (Lol, in a video game ). Yeah, pretty pathetic. ^^

Unless you find yourself at the zerg spearhead for Nyan, they are pretty silly about covering their butt. I find their heavies are the easiest to knife down.
They are easy to JLAV as well. It's like they never expect it.

LOL!
Sometimes you just have to leave the game and just cross your fingers and hope you have a somewhat competitive team. Then there are those times where without you fighting tough as you are, your team wouldn't have stood a chance in making a comeback.
