You can easily kill HAV pilots that refuses teamwork with a coordinated effort but god beware they use teamwork by themselfs.
Even in 1.6 a guarded HAV was a serious threat to AV, but did they used teamwork nope they expected to wreck the battlefield solo because you know its a tank... |

Don't really take this personally, but you can go and insert something long enough down your throat to dislodge whatever stick is up your backside. We'll have to wait for someone to find them, then post a thread about it and probably overreact, then have people use nothing but it for days without anyone knowing why because noone official ever made the announcement that 'yo guise, dis **** be broked.'

IWS would it be possible to suggest hotfixing AV damage models back to their values in 1.6?
Perhaps that could be a short term fix or even a potential test of vehicle/AV balance.

I was thinking bringing back the performance for some and damage for others before 1.8 TTK details were brought up but overall it seems all now need a damage buff WITH a slight performance boost if any direction was to be tuggable direction. Just for now its on their radar as a problem to be addressed, how to and when not yet decided.

Currently tanks go from zero to VERY FAST in a matter of seconds - nothing that heavy should have that kind of acceleration; it should take 10 - 20 seconds of full throttle to get up to top speed in a tank.

This is a good idea however a tank is purchased by only 1 person. They should get their turret for that.
The solution would be to have teamwork necessary in order to activate modules by requiring a second person to be in the tank for the driver to activate them. Equipping a turret takes away having too many modules as well doesn't it?
Tanks would be begging people to get in which is funny because I remember hearing people in 1.5 screaming at blueberries to get out.

An extra problem apparently not foreseen when tanks were changed was that allowing small turrets to be left empty on HAVs means a whole lot of free CPU/PG for better modules and main turret. It is likely this that allows militia tanks to be so ungodly.
Tell me, when was the last time you saw a tank with small turrets?

this is why damage mods at complex should have gone down to 7%. that way they are still useful and worth while to fit. but since fitting isnt changeing for them thier going to be usless. so may as well fit 2-3 4% damage mods on av weapons..............although past 2 you wont get much noticble damage. |

I think they should make the main turret crappy against infantry, and at the same time make the small turrets really good. This will force tankers to keep the seats and small turrets to keep infantry at bay, thus requiring team-work. (Unless they don't want to be a sitting duck)

Making HAVs much more expensive (ISK) and/or increasing damage of Swarms and AV grenades should be as easy as updating a database value. Of course you would still need to have proper tests but this is nothing compared to the testing required due to the implementation of new features which usually cause new bugs. |

I have to live with my "choice" despite I didnt had any cause CCP shanghai ****** it up. -proceed with screwing AV by nerfing AV nades. -assault rifle nerf despite it being the weakest rifles out of all -nerf all sidearms and introduce the magsec sidearm which is on par with the assault rifle but as a sidearm
those **** ups slowly add up but it is all fine as long as you buy some booster... BUY MOAR!
