It's useless Would you like to know the issue I have with Sniper Rifles ? It isn't the reload speed its the damage and clip sizes .. faster reload is useless because you still have to go out of scope to reload and then get your zoom back in .. by that time your target has gotten away anyway Would you like to know the issue with the RR ? It isn't reloading speed it's spool up time and bullet dispersion at range ... The Minmatar weapons have small clip sizes so increasing the amount of bullets per clip is most definitely a bonus The weakness of Amarrian weapons is heat build up and therefore the bonus to heat build up reduction is clearly a bonus The weakness of Gallente weapons is mostly dispersion so giving them a passive sharpshooter skill at least benefits some of the weapons (although this bonus is slightly weak as it doesn't benefit all of the Gallentean weapons .. PLC anyone ?) If i'm brutally honest if the Amarrian suit increases the DPS of laser weaponry then the Caldari bonus should be to ROF .. in fact CCP should've left all the other races with ROF bonus and given the amarrian suit the laser heat build up reduction Assault suits should have a slight increase in DPS when using their racial weapons over other suits using them ... If the other races don;t get an ROF bonus then the Amarrians should NOT get a passive skill that increases their DPS either !

That said, I think a %reduction to spool time would be better. That, or a % increase to hybrid-rail weapon range per level. This would cement CalAss as a range fighter. So +1 It's useless, it's totally useless when your using Caldari tech in the way it was designed to be used .. Hit and Run .. shields dampeners and stamina/speed you find an enemy or a group at range you pop out of cover kill 1 of them and pop behind cover .. pick them off 1 by 1 and you reload whilst you pop back behind cover and then repeat the process .. if you get engaged in CQC you switch to your sidearm .. if your using the full 42 clip in 1 engagement and need to reload in the middle of it then your doing it wrong There is a reason why the Caldari accept that this bonus is rubbish .. that's because it is useless and doesn't fit in with the Caldari Playstyle at all .. Ranged combat does not require super fast reloading it requires movement speed,damage and stealth Closer Dispersion whilst in ADS or a higher ROF would be a much better 'Assault' bonus than reload speed ..

Buying 1 lottery ticket improves your chance of winning the lottery as does buying 1 million .. what we have here is the Cal Assault is getting 1 lottery Ticket whilst the Amarr are getting 1 million The bonuses aren't balanced and honestly if the bonuses stay the same and we got a respec I would never again use a Cal Assault suit .. I don't think many other people would either May as well say Goodbye to the Caldari Assault .. you will never see the all black Cal Assault Suit in battle again
