What the title says.
CCP - You listened to QQers and removed our 25% Cooldown bonus on cloaks (AKA a decent bonus) and now gave us 25% Stamina and stamina regen per level.
2 things:
1st- Who the F came with this garbage of a bonus that does not equal a MLT module while the rest have 2-3 cx modules worth in bonuses? 2nd- WILL,as some have previously stated, the AMARR BLADE be a stamina BASED AV weapon? If Not WHY SHOULD ANYONE spec into Amarr scout instead of one of the other racial variants?
I WANT THE AMARR SCOUT BONUS CHANGED to something useful, not something that can be replicated by a basic cardiac regulator.
Also , please sign this petition , scout and amarr brothers so we can make ourselves be heard.
WE WANT AN USEFUL AMARR SCOUT BONUS.

The 25% Cooldown bonus to Cloaks was a blessing.
Other options:
GÖª SCR PISTOL Damage increase 2% Per level (+10% at level 5) GÖª +1 HP armor rep per level GÖª 10% MAx stamina and Stamina recovery per level & 10% More Melee Damage per level GÖª +1 SCR PISTOL clip size per level GÖª 5% Heat Buildup reducion per level to Laser weaponry GÖª +10% Jump height per level. Just because for Bunneh.
These are just some i gathered from a previous thread on the matter. There ARE more, but basically, anything that Helps the Amarr scout survive or Attack, since the Amarr Scout is the More ''offensive oriented'' of them all.

Actually ,Armor regen = to better ARMOR TANKING. With a passive of 5HP rep per sec an Amarr scout could equip up to 4 plates. Without it the amarr scout is forecd to use an armor repairer. Giving the Gallente scout better chances of ARMOR TANKING.

Your bonus sounds very well and by all means IS balanced. BUT: The Amarr scout is ALREADY the slowest scout (so speed is not necesarily the way to go for this little guy,that cant even outrun a Minmatar assault, AND in the case will be needed,Armor plates will be replaced by Kinetic Cats) but the fact Armor plates have minimal penalties that dont actually affect the preformance at all. Say. I equip 3 Basic Armor plates (Total Armor at Level 5 = 492)?
I only Loose 3% Speed.So, even with YOUR bonus, that gives a total of 100% Speed penalty removal, 3% sprint speed is not a bonus worth of a scout. Lets compare:
3% Sprint speed < 25% Profile dampening 3% Sprint speed < 25% Scan Radius 3% Sprint speed < 25% Scan precision 3% Sprint speed < 25% NK Damage 3% Sprint speed < 25% Hacking speed.
As you can see, the bonus isnt worth it UNLESS , you equip COMPLEX PLATES ONLY, but there are ways going AROUND the Speed penalty of Complex plates that is: With the effectiveness of Armor plates, using lower tier Plates....
Unless you make Amarr scouts GAIN Speed per armor plate or something like that (LOL), this bonus wont work towards increasing the survival chances of the Amarr scout....

I still favor a stamina bonus because an item could be based off of stamina, for example there is huge ewar potential especially when you consider the fact amarr ewar is energy vampire tech, could use the stamina stat to base off its effectiveness similar to how dampening syncs with cloaking.

I definitely feel it could use 2 bonuses, 50% to stamina and stamina regen (anymore is insanity when adding another regulator) plus something else.
I think stealth equipment would be cool, deployable equipment should get a DB bonus. Would make uplinks more stealthy and I guess hives would be tied to that. I know not everyone would jump for joy because it's not a perfect passive but it would give Amarr scouts a nice role.
I would love if they sneak in, drop an uplink and allow the team to spawn without that uplink getting discovered by a random scan. |

True enough, I want a strong amarr scout too, I am still in favor of a stamina boost in some form or another due to future ewar and equipment running (which I do a lot). I'm personally just hoping for a new primary bonus with the current stamina bonus as the secondary.
But I don't Amarr scout 24/7 either, so I understand that bit.
Though, CCP seems to have taken suggestions directly from threads for almost everything now, so throwing out ideas which you can get a lot of people to agree or or to thumb up would most likely serve your interest.

I like the idea of the amarr stamina bonus a lot, but it definitely needs to be tweaked up to between 7-10% stamina and regen increase per level.
As potential ADDITIONAL bonuses:
Personally, I think the Amarr should be the true commando's and be able to equip 2 light weapons. Afterall, if you're gonna be slow, not have great EWAR, and not have the benefits of a lot of HP, might as well be able to hit hard. Besides, Amarr do have 2 racial light weapons....
That's a big bonus, though, and steps on the commando quite a bit. Maybe be able to equip 1 light weapon and 2 sidearms?
I'd like to go with Amarr but as it stands it really doesn't compare to the other scouts.
Or perhaps a reduction to biotic and armor module fitting (CPU/PG cost) to allow them to fit high tier reppers, kin/cats etc, more easily... since they don't get the innate speed or the innate regen.
+1 for the pistol damage... that seems a bit much though, given the already all-around excellence that is the scrambler pistol. Maybe it it was 1% damage per level. It's true it doesn't compete with the KN damage bonus, but you don't need to be 2 meters away from your target either. |

I imagine equipment has a Db rating, it's just insanely high like a tank...though I'm not sure. Make the Db normally like a 50 with a 10% bonus per, that pulls it to 25 at lvl 5...that's below Pro scanners.
I like headshot bonus idea it goes well with the Minnie bonus to knives, they become the assassins.

Oh and this is an error here : Basic Regulator is WAY better. It's 25% 50% !!! not 25/25.
Stamina Bonus would be "cool" if : -Same than a Complex regulator. AND - Melee Amarr weapon is based on stamina. |

Hmm most of the scout boni seem a bit strange:
Two scouts with scanrange increase? Minmatar gettin boni to non minmatar stuff? (NK=Caldari and Hacking seems to be Gallente)
Amarr seems ok but underwhelming for most.
Soooo I would change the boni to:
Amarr 5% Stamina and recovery, 5% reduction to CPU/PG for plates (I think this will be quite usefull) Caldari keep the boni Gallente 5% hacking speed, 5% reduction to profile Minmatar 3% Sprintspeed bonus, 5% damage for remotes
All per level of course
This would give all scouts different somewhat specialized roles without giving two suit the same bonus

I would like it to have the 10% stamina recovery + 2% scrambler pistol damage. Cool double bonus like the Minmatar. Melee damage bonus would be useless, considering a medium frame would still have higher damage.
