Do any scouts out there take turns hacking objectives with opponents?
This should be a de facto behavior for scouts. We could be farming tons of WP.
Here's how I see the scenario playing out.
You just finished hacking a reanimation unit in a remote area of the map and turn around to see an opponent scout standing there. Yes he could have killed you while you were hacking, but instead he shows no signs of hostility.
Then he proceeds to hack the reanimation unit and stands back. Then you hack the reanimation unit. Then he hacks ....
This would be way more lucrative than killing each other.

Ha ha ha. Not saying I would want to do it all the time, but I'd give it a go, just to see how many WP we could accumulate. The fun part would be shooting the cooperative opponent right before the end of the match.

This would be way more lucrative than killing each other. It doesn't work out in the way you think it does. I've tried this with a friend. Once a counter hack is made, only the first counter-hacker continues to receive the +80 wps for every additional counter-hack. Effectively you could trade off between who gets boosted each round, but it's a pain finding non contested null canons. However, if you sync full teams players can trade off more effectively without resistance.

Awesome! I would chose a lower profile objective though, like a remote supply depot or reanimation unit.

Otherwise, if you can't find adequate terminals to hack, place down speedy uplinks in remote locations and take turns landing headshot kills on one another. 60pts per shot.

TL;DR
I have always wondered why every player always will kill another player no matter what. Early on in my Dust career I would get so frustrated with being stomped that I simply turned backwards and reversed into the enemy. Needless to say I was always shot down. I mean really thou? This is New Eden, not all clones are down there to kill and have no second thoughts, where are the tricksters, the sooth sayers, the calm collected WP farming saboteurs. There needs to be a way to talk with the enemy. Maybe this could involve an equipment module and work like a squad command order.
Not a very good idea, but though I would contribute it any way.

I like your thinking. Always trying something new and thinking outside of the box.
I have tried several non-standard behaviors ranging from enemy cooperation to befriending red dots. It has never worked out for me yet, since they are hungry for the kill. It's so funny how obvious it must be that I am deliberately breaking standard protocol and yet they charge on "KILL KILL KILL".
May the force be with you :)

Maybe. Pros and cons. Would you then have to spend your precious time in game to selectively mute those who say nothing but gibberish?
However, this would be a cool mechanic for squad organization, as shouting to your mates that you see a target may alert your presence.
Worth a try if done correctly. And of course no sound after death.

And do it in a remote area where no team mates would want to spawn. We don't want any unwanted surprises.

I tried posting a thread that encouraged special event days in Dust. If I held enough sway in the community it would happen, but my voice gets lost in the echoing ideas.
I tried to spearhead the idea that we should host a nova knife comp day. We we would meet in the center of an ambush and form a circle. Teams of NKs go in and the battle is determined by NK players. It would take a little bit of work, but should any person that doesn't play Dust hear that this kind of thing can happen in this game, they would play it. We should all try to make this game something more than it was designed to be.

I've always wanted to try gun slinging duels, where two opponents stand back to back, walk apart from each other for 5 seconds and then turn around and gun each other down.

Does anyone have any information concerning the time that it takes to complete a hack at the various Systems Hacking skill graduations and with various code breakers applied?
Scout cooperation actually sounds like an auspicious way to earn big WP.
Let's say that we establish standard locations to meet up on the various maps and that each scout takes approximately 1 minute to get there and that scouts are tanked with codebreakers (I named my hacker suit "Aardvark").
Assuming that a round lasts 15 minutes, that an average hack takes 4 seconds and there is a 1 second delay between opposing scout hacks, that gives the following formula
[ (15 min round - 1 min commute) / (4 sec hack + 1 sec buffer) ] / 2 people = 84 hacks each
84 * 50 = 4200 WP each
Of course, if we hack faster and reduce overhead between hacks, this method could yield hundreds or thousands of more WP.
I say we implement this exigently.
Time to start designating rendezvous points.
Recommended Protocol
Scouts meet at an established rendezvous point.
We also need a sign that we intend to cooperate, like dancing around in a circle without attacking.
Establish trust at rendezvous point. Remember the name(s) of the other scout(s).
After scouts establish trust at rendezvous point, then one scout leads the other(s) to a choice objective to commence hacking.
Caveats
Saboteurs may learn of the rendezvous points and imitate the authentication behavior to gain trust and then go for the kill when the other scout least suspects it.
Hunters may watch the map for this behavior (objectives changing red/blue every 5 seconds) and go for the kill.
Remediation
Desist activity for duration of match.
If you encounter and recognize the cooperative scout elsewhere, resume activity.
