No, as someone who plays heavy and only plays heavy you should have put your SP into the heavy related skill tree, and just not used the excess if you knew that all you ever wanted to do was heavy and there were additional skills coming which you'd most likely want. If I was an eve elitist, I would play eve exclusively. As I play dust as well it's pretty safe to assume I'm not. I keep referring to eve as it's the closest comparison available to dust and the systems in dust originated in eve. You're entitled to play or not as you see fit, I personally think that the queue up skills and learn them over time skill system is preferable to the passive sp system that we have in dust currently, however I can see there would possibly have been problems with that considering a large portion of the skills weren't available at launch. But no-one forced you to spend those SP, you could have, just as easily saved them. I'm not advocating no respec ever as it goes, I'm trying to get my point across that there is an alternative to a respec, which is to work with what you have already skilled into until you have the additional SP to get the additional skills you want for the new equipment. I've already said that if there is a respec, I'll use it to move my SP around so I have better level in what I want to specialise in. But I'm not demanding a respec because bonuses have changed around and things don't do exactly the same things that they did before the patch. When I play as a sniper, I'm more likely to be nearer to the opponents redline than my own.
