Have fun with that attitude in life buddy. Considering I'm constantly saying I'm going to run tests to verify one way or another, ignorance isn't really a bad thing. I'd more define it as inquisitive. It's a noble trait. If I'm wrong oh well, lessen learned. I move on. You're attitude however, pretty sure you're stuck with that. Enjoy going through life with it. If you're ever really lonely sometime (I expect it to be soon) take solace in the fact I am probably wrong about the shield regen mchanic in dust. |

So I ran some tests this morning. Heavy with assault forge splashing myself. It took 3 shots to break shields after the 3rd shot I started a timer. It took 10 seconds to start recharging.
I reran the test firing a 4th shot but starting the timer after the 3rd. Total time befor rechage was still 10 seconds.
So I ran the test again with a 5 second delay before charging my forge so it fired at roughly 8 seconds. Shield recharge at 15 seconds.
I switched up the timing and switched to Scr overheat plus flux. All tests seemed to point to 7 seconds after the damage my shield would recharge, not 10. 10 only happened if no more damage came in after the hit that depleted shields. Ill test with my buddy later for more.
But if this holds true it looks like the shield reset only uses the depleted value on the shot that depletes the shield and not any shots following that. So unless the caldari backs out immediately after his shield pops he won't get the 1 sec delay, he'll get the 4 second |

The way I see it, if you get hit and your shields thereafter are 0, you should get the depleted recharge delay. This could make the Caldari Sentinel a lot less powerful than it appears to be on paper, although it's also a hidden buff to every other suit out there. I suggest creating a video and then posting it in the Feedback section (in case it isn't a bug, which I feel pretty sure that it is).

just wondering, was their ever conformation on how the caldari heavy shield delay was going to work? I only see one dev post in this thread and was wondering if I missed something. |

Check the Date on this post Logibro cleary spoke before he knew for sure.. The 1sec delay has been confirmed to be accurate and you would know that if you took the time to actually read through the thread instead of just the Dev response so HAHAHA jokes on you bud... |
