Like should Caldari weapons get a bonus to CPU, while Gallente get PG and Amarr/Minmatar get a bonus to both?
Caldari -5 percent to CPU usage
Gallente -5 percent to PG usage
Amarr 2 to 3 percent reduction to CPU/PG(maybe 3 each or 2/3, 3/2)
Minmatar 3 to 4 percent to CPU and 1 to 2 percent to PG.
I just figure Minmatar is isn't so bad for PG and Amarr are CPU and PG hogs l.
While Caldari weapons are close to Gallente, most Caldari seem to have more problems with CPU and not PG.
These are just my observations of course, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit, but should actually be a discount on racially equivalent items only. costs more to equip wrong racial variant. |

I feel like some skill should be attached to race. There should be some perk. Maybe market prices on racial gear or natural influence on factional standing. |

-1 simply because while the idea it's good, as pointed out you can't change your race. I feel better with CR, but since I'm a Caldari I should be using the RR to gain racial bonus.
It would be better to load the beginning MLT outfits with racial weapons. |

No, the idea behind fitting optimization of a weapon affecting CPU is the only reason most people will skill into it anyways. The CPU usage of a weapon is higher than the pg use and is more problematic usually so fitting optimization being a racial trait difference is just ridiculous. Also I will point out that the weapons all have racial bases any ways and skilling into a fitting optimization for one group, say Assault Rifles, only optimizes your fitting for that weapon group which is already quite limiting for such an expensive to get skill.

it would be nice to see fitting bonus for the racial drop suits so amarr dropsuits would get a fitting bonus for laser weapons and the caldari/gallente would get hybrid weapon bonuses and the minmatar would get projectile weapon bonuses starting at basic dropsuit level and added onto the assault dropsuit has a third bonus this would mean that the gallente would need another assault bonus. |

No, but skill training modifiers should reflect your race, if you are gallente it should cost less sp to skill into gallente weapons, equip, suits, etc. and more to skill into the other faction stuff for example. |

For one, you never explain how we would receive this fitting bonus. For two, fitting optimization is a terrible way to promote factional integrity.
What's the difference between an immobile Minmatar ship and a pile of garbage?
The pile of garbage is more lethal.

As for the weapons, all weapons have a fitting skill that lower PG consumption except the PLC and Flaylock. If you are putting millions of sp into a weapon, why not give it racial qualities that reflect the people who make them?
Combat rifles use very little PG, so why give them a PG reduction skill? Why not a skill that lowers CPU and a little PG?
Rail Rifles use a ton of CPU, give the guys using it a break so they can better fit their suits.
Assault rifle is perfect.
And the Amarr ScR is pretty heavy on both ends, give it a even 2.5 or 3 percent to both CPU and PG.

I think it makes sense that a equipment from 1 manufacturer work better with equipment from the same manufacturer. Like Cisco routers sure they work fine as routers even among other brands but they really work best in a all cisco shop. So yea it would make sense to me that amar shield extenders (as an example) work best when on an amar dropsuit and galente armor repers work best on a galente suit. |

Almost. But I'd propose this variation:
Starting race + matching racial suit + matching racial weapon = weapon bonus (not fitting bonus)
Weapon bonuses:
All Amarr = +5% damage All Gallente = +5% damage All Caldari = +5% RoF AL Minmatar = +5% RoF
All CPU/PG fitting options stay the same.
Result:
Not a huge difference, but something to help increase race diversity. Plus it makes sense from a logic/lore perspective - you would expect a race to optimize their technology for their own use.
