Not tied to your starting race, just a different fitting optimaztion bonus depending on the weapon.
Amarr weapons would have there bonus change from PG to CPU/PG reduction.
Caldari weapons would instead get CPU reduction instead of PG.
Gall enter weapons would stay the same.
Minmatar would also change from PG reductions to CPU/PG with a higher reduction to CPU.
Caldari -5 percent to CPU usage
Gallente -5 percent to PG usage
Amarr 2 to 3 percent reduction to CPU/PG(maybe 3 each or 2/3, 3/2)
Minmatar 3 to 4 percent to CPU and 1 to 2 percent to PG.
I just figure Minmatar is isn't so bad for PG and Amarr are CPU and PG hogs l.
While Caldari weapons are close to Gallente, most Caldari seem to have more problems with CPU and not PG.
These are just my observations of course, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. What.
For one, you never explain how we would receive this fitting bonus. For two, fitting optimization is a terrible way to promote factional integrity.
What's the difference between an immobile Minmatar ship and a pile of garbage?
The pile of garbage is more lethal.

Cody Sietz wrote:I just wanted the skills to reflect the weapons. Except, here's the thing. The resources make the weapon. Rail and missile weapons are intended to be CPU intensive, to incentivise their use on Caldari frames, which traditionally have the highest CPU. Laser weapons are intended to be PG intensive, to incentivise their use on Amarr frames, which traditionally have the highest PG. Blasters have slightly higher CPU usage, to incentivise their use on Gallente frames, which conserve PG for their tank. Projectiles use fewer resources in general, but have slightly higher PG usage, ot incentivise their use on Minmatar frames, which conserve CPU for their tank.
