Can someone explain in a simple manner, how to enter to win? Just tell me what I have to do. If I win, I'm giving everyone in my local chat 10mil. You should just throw it to the masses to help keep the game alive.

Just record yourself doing something talked about in these topics. You complete a challenge, get tickets. More tickets, better odds of winning the game.
I think player activity can be better cultivated by encouraging people to experiment with the game's mechanics and social tools in a unique way rather than just throwing items at people.
I don't always fight dropships, but when I do...

Dear CCP,
The Dust challenge lottery has been a deeply personal community project that great people have invested their time into. CCP, I want to reward their efforts, however a lack of concrete information on player trading in "DUST 514," seriously ties my hands in following through on this five month event. I do not honestly see this Challenge Lottery going forward much farther than the biomass and item destruction events because a splintering of the community with the promise of vaporware kills much interest in creating meaningful and novel player driven content for this existing product. I'm sorry CCP. While I will likely join you on Legion if that comes to fruition, I feel as though I am going to be done with Dust 514 after this lottery.

Just to clarify, CCP Saberwing was responding to Round 1 of this event. We are currently in round 2, which is currently in limbo and likely to carry over to Legion if item do indeed carry over. Take note of these uncertainties if you choose to participate for the competition. Please feel free to just try out challenges for fun to find enjoyment in the game. Dust 514 is still here.

It appears I can no longer continue the lottery in its current form as discussions with CCP illuminated that item transfers will likely not be possible in Dust 514, but possibility remains to transfer these items to Legion. This means it could be ages before I provide the rewards as discussed and that is discouraging.
Or I could transform this event into a reward by ISK pot that is funded by community donations. The challenge aspects of the lottery would remain.
I leave the choice for the future of this lottery to the community. |

Aye, I agree. Wait for Legion. If the items don't transfer, CCP has bent all of us over the table and found us in the alps so the lottery is an afterthought anyway. If they transfer, it will be a HELL of a kick-off to "the new game."

Good luck with that. Last time I played, there were only 13 players per match and half were AFK (why?). Oh, and I got kicked out of battle as soon as the loading screen finished about ten times.
Oh, and I'm sure player trading won't come out anytime soon, or ever, in Dust 514. But if it does, I hope your lottery goes well!

This is a challenge lottery. If you click here you can see the different ways to earn tickets. For example, jumping out of the MCC and killing yourself with an Officer weapon is worth two tickets, four if it is a Thales. When the lottery hits the end date, which was originally the introduction of player trading but now seems to be when Legion comes out and assets transfer, Jadek will (probably) roll a random number generator to figure out who wins. The video here describes how it works.
Even if you don't believe Jadek, which is smart, it is still fun doing the challenges as it gives you different things to do. How about killing someone with a melee attack using the PS Move? Killing a tank by ramming into it with a dropship? What about killing an infantry so they can be revived, throwing a remote explosive on the corpse, and detonating it when a friendly medic comes to pick them up? It gives a different way to play the game.
