the proof of the pudding is in the eating, but as long as i can still refit my suit and moduals ect with out being restricted to a particular faction ill be happy, also i hope that increasing gallente standing wont decrease minmitar standing and vice versa. |

Good Question though! I guess you can only do it a certain number of times before you end up kicked...though if you got a mate to play victim, and he ran as low an eHP as possible (say, 200?), then in theory you could kill him 25 times before you hit the 5000 HP kick limit.

I can see that you could exceed that with a single misaimed shot from a forge gun or large rail. To deal with that simply weigh infantry and vehicle damage differently. So you can do 1000HP infantry damage or 3000HP vehicle damage or an equivalent combination (e.g. 500HP infantry plus 1500HP vehicle) before you're kicked. |

I agree, if you put a sword pointing towards a driver of a car on the steering wheel, THEY WILL DRIVE CAREFULLY EVEN WITH SEAT BELTS. You could easily sweep 10 guys shields with a laser, just a quick flick across them. So if the kick came much earlier, it would be a reasonable penalty. Even if based on damage dealt, its still to high as you can easily kill a few squishes with that.

So much stuff here.
The only "major" problem I can see is that EVE teams will have a great advantage against who hasn't an EVE pilot in his Corporation.
The "NO ISK" issue isn't a real matter since there are Corp Taxes.
From here, it looks interesting, but only the battle shall prove the effectiveness of these changes.

Questions regarding standings in 1.7 Faction Warfare changes:
"When you win a battle for one of these corporations, two things will simultaneously happen: You will gain 75 points of standing towards the corporation that you fought for, while losing 15 points of standing towards the corporation you fought against."
So, my question is: Are standings for the opposing corporation capped at a minimum of zero or is it possible to go negative?
Also, is this spreadsheet showing correct/intended mechanics? Assuming either situation, if this is correct than it's entirely possible to get perfect standings with all four factions.
Edit: Granted, you'd have to be -very- dedicated toward that to get 1,000+ victories between all factions... but...

I see alot people team killing on purpose and I think you should get paid a nice sum of isk for playing factional warfare because I do know people are bringing their expensive toys out on the battlefield in factional warfare. Factional warfare will be high risk and we all know as mercs the greater the risk the greater the reward so CCP please bring isk payouts per battle as well as loyalty points. It's no fun if you can't collect a payment from the faction you fight for. Maybe Eve pilots should pay us for our loyalty in factional warfare it would be interesting to see how much isk would be paid to make one of the 4 factions dominate over the others. Can't wait to play the new factional warfare and see how loyalty points could benefit me. I know it's gonna be alot of bad team mates in battle on purpose shooting others and won't care about there loyalty standings. CCP just throw some isk payments in factional warfare to make those faction battles all the more worth it to fight. |

i agree with this statement. I want to feel like i'm actually fighting for the race of my choosing and fight with the same race of people. |

In regards to the EVE killmails for DUST not displaying vehicle passengers:
My suggestion is to just include the passengers as "Biomass" in the "Fittings and Content" section of the killmail. I feel like that would be a pretty simple and satisfying solution to this issue until a more detailed method is created (i.e. identifying each passenger's individual worth, etc.) |

I like the impovements to factional warfare and the new weapons etc. However, I am wondering are you trying to phase out the Heavy in this game. The heavy or sentinel as you like to call it is far from being able to complete it's role of defender, guard(sentinel), or like the start of the game would show a force to be reckoned with. I don't see one new HMG weapon on your list for 1.7. As of late you have promoted scouts and free scout suits which leads me to believe you would prefer a bunch of jack rabbits running around with shotguns that poop grenades when you kill them. The HMG is no longer a true HEAVY MACHINE GUN. If you need proof watch a modded Gek take down a heavy at close range. Even in the present there isn't much of a chance of any assualt weapon (AR) cutting down someone in front of them with a multi-barrel HMG! If you think it has to do with my own personnal skills in the game then look around and you will see Heavies running with assualt weapons or the OP-scrambler rifles or even worse a heavy with a shotgun. As of late I have had to damage mod my proto HMG just to try and compete with the damage dealt out by other advanced weapons. Awhile back you took away the range of HMG and added red and yellow flames that come out of the barrel when firing at red targets(bad idea). You took away the range and now the blast radius of the forge gun making it half the weapon it used to be for infantry kills but you are soon going to increase the power of tanks? All of this nerfing to the heavie's weapons and new weapons for other roles leads me to believe the heavy is not an important role in the future of this game and you don't mind if HMG's are not used by Heavies with heavy weapon slots. A true sentinel of any objective should be feared as the name sentinel reflects but this is far from true and the options if you stay true to character and run heavy weapons is very shallow. How will BPO salvage drop? If I have a dren or templar suit, and it gets 'rolled' as salvage. Do they just get a regular version? I'd hope we don't start multiplying BPOs..... |

It could just as easily be the aurum item, I've certainly salvaged Aurum gear from people. Don't see why suits shouldn't be included in that.
