State Sniper Rifles are on the test server at all three tech levels. State Ishukone Specialist Sniper Rifle at the prototype level. Just because its on Sisi doesn't mean it'll be live in 1.7 but it's a good sign.

Yep, this.
FW will definitely be an isk sink. My prediction: better people will play in more pub matches to make isk. You will make the most isk by running the cheapest, and most effective gear you can. The good players would be stupid to run proto gear in pub matches since it will be practically impossible to profit (at the rate necessary for FW use) with it.
Ofc, we don't know what the 'consumption rate' of gallente FW is yet.
In terms of salvage though. If you get 25% of what the enemy drops, this may be a secondary way to get counter-faction gear. If I as a primarily Amarr player, am always getting gallente/minmatar LP because that's what I run, then I'll still hopefully be getting popular amarr salvage, and maybe some caldari stuff. |

Until noobs are barred from FW none of this means anything. Screw worrying about friendly fire from griefers, worry more so about the amount of idiots on your team. Being that you need 200 wins to reach max LP payout, youll never see it for the mass amount of ignorant assholes that play this game and go 0/11 every ******* match. Not to mention the occasional friendly fire incident on top of this will keep you from ever reaching full LP payout. And only 25% salvage? **** you.

With the new orbital mechanics what is the interval between orbital strikes becoming available? I know they are available once the EvE guy has been linked to the beacon for 3 minutes but after that how often can they be called?
Also what happens to unused strikes say we get an orbital available notification but we don't need the orbital just yet can we not use it and keep it in reserve? and if we keep it in reserve will the next strike still generate if the first hasn't been used and if it does generate will it be added to the OB pool so to speak or will it replace the 1st strike?
TEST signature please help me think of a better one.

So what happens to vehicle users who use weapons that have splash, and have to fight with slow rendering to see if an enemy is even there, nevermind waiting to see if they're red or blue.
What happens when blueberries run into their splash and die. What happens when that idiot blueberry decides to punish the vehicle player? What happens when that player gets kicked? Does he lose his 1-3 million ISK vehicle?
I love the direction you're going, but between idiot blueberries firing at your vehicles with installations and AV (they can simply harass you, so long as they don't kill you, no punishment) and now idiot blueberries being able to kill you while you're piloting because THEY are stupid and the game doesn't render possibly.....
Just...what's the perk to being a vehicle pilot again?

Pirate faction ships are sold in pirate faction LP stores. Until we can fight for the pirate factions in DUST there is no way to earn them through fighting.

I actually had no idea you can fight for pirate factions in EVE. I've played the game here and there a bit and I've got somewhat of a grasp on it, but that game is freaking huge >_<

Not sure I like the idea of items in the LP market costing LP and ISK when you can't earn ISK in the FW battles. I guess once the Player-trading market comes in, it will be more tolerable.

Now, i think they will be adding more specialist weapons because it would not be fair to exclude heavy weapons from the LP store but maybe they are waiting for the racial heavy weapons to flesh out first.
I don't think FW will see an influx in "stupid newbs" like someone above me said because that would just be too expensive for them. You could waltz in there with militia gear but i think after getting spanked and handed back to your mother a couple of matches would lessen that desire.
Standings are always nice in a competitive game that's a healthy improvement.
Pay to Peen on LP boosters is a logical move, wonder if we get a free one in the newsletter...
Nice to see this game is moving in a direction, i'll leave it to Vetter minds to decide if it is the right one but movement is afoot and i like it.
Love to see how this will effect the whole EVE participation in dust,
I guess i will be GÇó Grinding SP to get better GÇó Grinding ISK to FW GÇó Grinding FW to get gear so merc life won't be sitting in ma sofa in the quarters.
