Now, tell me how much SP a maxed Tank takes. Now tell me, do you run tanks? Or do you sit on a tower, safe from tanks with a FG? Maybe both? Doesnt matter either way, without hardline FACT, that means math, and I know that can be hard for stoners some times, your arguement is invalid no matter how much you want to be butthurt and swear, namecall or be rude because I suggest using logic and (once again stated) math vs situational evidence. In PS2 they were tweaking the balance between the 3 faction MBT's the Prowler (TR) the Magrider (VS) and the Vanguard (NC) Magrider is a strafing hill climbing tank that was very good at long ranged engagements. Vanguard is a slow heavily armored thing that did more damage than any other tank but shot much slower Prowler was a dual barreled brawler tank that functioned off the More DAKKA approach to combat, more bullets is better. While they were tweaking the tanks they accidentally broke the prowler, they gave the projectile speeds that rivaled the speed of a sniper round. Also only prowler rounds seemed to have this magical effect of their explosions going through walls. Finally the prowler was able to ohk infanty with each shot be it direct or aoe. Add ontop of this the prowlers ability to deploy, which gave them a much faster firing speed, even faster projectile velocity, a stable platform to fire from, and a higher reload speed prowlers suddenly became the end all be all of the game. You wouldn't see tr anywhere that wasn't in a prowler. Yes infantry could kill them, if you managed to get close enough to hit them in the rear with your ESRL 4 times, the ground lockon and the anihilator were jokes at the time. Oh and if they even looked at you, you were dead because they didn't even have to hit near you. Tanks being too powerful in a combined arms game is a very bad thing.
