If an enemy supply depot is in a critical position where an AV squad can utilize it and cover a large/important swath of area, I'll destroy it without hesitation if my friendly infantry can't capture it, even if people start giving me arbitrary ammo restrictions.
This stands even if "calling/recalling" does not work for restocking ammo.
If it needs to be removed on the battlefield, I'll remove it. If people are not going to adapt for my play style, I refuse to adapt to theirs. Fair is fair.

Then you need to implement another mechanic to get rid of unwanted/damaged vehicles, as infantry already possess this ability with supply depots.
I'm a firm defender of being able to recall vehicles, though I'd love to have it where RDVs pick them up and fly off with them instead of the magic deconstruction.

Is there really any difference waiting 30 seconds for a new tank and driving 15 seconds back to a supply depot?

There's always one in the base, and most of the time (especially in 1.7), they'll run out of ammo before that happens. |

No. If i change my Amarr suit to another amar of the same type its still going to be damaged. I can change to ANOTHER SUIT,but not the same one.
The Vehicle recall lets you send a maddy back and get a new one while NOT loosing the previous one. Damaged vehicles? Get a repair tool then or you know, play as a team with people with reppers? (I know tankers want to do everything themselves but...) Or make it the same as with dropsutis. You must request a DIFFERENT vehicle because if you call the same type it will come back in the same stage you recalled it...you see? same as dropsuits...
IMO if vehicle recall stays the tank or vehicle must be at least at 75 % HP and they need to wait a SERIOUS cooldown to call in anotehr vehicle, say 3 minutes....
Im tired of that: ''ooh i got hit twice by a Breach forge gunner while staying still like a dumbs**it, LOL no problem, pump that afterburner ,recall my tank and have a new one in 30 secs, YOLO..''

We strongly cautioned them not to implement ammo without the proper support: meaning pkayers should have some way to get more supply depots at a cost, and recalling and redpolying should not be possible to get more ammo for free.

Yeah, I do wish CCP could have waited on this a bit. Being able to call in installations for a price would have been amazing, and Im not sure if I understand why they couldn't have done it. I mean...... it would be fairly similar to calling in a vehicle. 1.) right directional button, 2.) select installations, 3.) select specific installation, 4.) a "ghost" copy of that installation appears on screen and you select where you want it to land via beacon. Step 5.) Profit........
Starting off with supply depots would have been a good way to get into this stuff and im honestly shocked this feature hasn't been added into the game yet considering how long the "installation" option has been in the game. And naturally theres a ton of ways CCP could spin off it this too! They could have standard SD's like what we have in game, and they could also have more expensive, personalized SD's that you can recall if you choose to. Obviously there would be limits in place to prevent people from abusing it, but having a feature like this would help make the game much more deep and immersive IMO. But hey! Why use common sense right?

Why the hell didn't they just make it so the logi variants of LAVs and DS have a passive Ammo restore Aura around them. For which they get points like a nanohive
Playing resupply DS/LAV could be fun,
driving or flying to tanks, mid air rondevu restocking before going back into combat. Protecting the logi LAV/ship from other AV and vehicles.
Nah, lets all swarm cluster f*** around the tiny supply depot, crash into each other, get camped by forges and rails and quit Dust because their design team is astonishingly ill equip to be handling design |

Please for the love of god tell me how a FG requires sooo much skill in comparison to a SL?
- Super fast travel time.
- The IAFG has a faster charge time than the Wyrikomi and IA Swarm Launcher. And with fast travel time, it has a higher DPS.
- Dumbfire
- The ability to charge while in cover and hop out for half a second to fire. (Unless using the Breach variant)
- Ability to kill infantry
- Did I forget to mention that they both do the same base damage?
- They can fit through small spaces, meaning they don't have to worry about their shots crashing into a wall.
- Aiming is super easy, heck it's even easier than locking with a Swarm Launcher
- Do heavies have a grenade slot? Yep they can use Lai Dais too. And maybe pilots should just stop driving into crowds of infantry?
- Swarms are horribly ineffective against a good dropship pilot. FGs shred those things to bits.
- They require a heavy suit. Meaning if infantry starts firing at me I can survive to cover. Heck, I can even shoot them with the FG.
- Again, you say this as if aiming a Large Turret is difficult and/or requires skill.
