Hi everybody,
To celebrate Rubicon, the 20th free expansion for EVE Online, I wanted to give away one set of codes that can be redeemed for the following items:
Uplink Scrambler Rifle Scrambler Pistol Laser Rifle Sentinel Suit Assault Suit Logistics Suit
All the items are blueprints for Amarr Templar gear, standard level. Only the Uplink sightly deviates from standard level, because it gives a 5% bonus to spawn time. So what do you have to do in order to get these?
Simply post your favorite fit here. Dropsuit or vehicle, militia or prototype, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you sell your fitting. Explain why you love it, drool over the stats and every little detail that makes the fit just work so perfectly. The most convincing post will win the items mentioned above as well as 100.000.000 DUST ISK. But there will also be a second and third place, which will get 100.000.000 and 50.000.000 DUST ISK.
You can post your entries here until Rubicon hits TQ, which should be during the downtime of next weeks Tuesday, November 19th.
Cheers

Simply because nothing quite kills like a damage modded, bonused, proficiency'd Imperial SCR. Stay at range, ~40-50m most of the time but kills just fine up close. Breach SCP for hilarity when you sneak up on people - OHKO'ing people in the head is great fun.

2 Complex Armor Plates Complex Kinetic Catalyzer (too offset movement penalty of armor plates)
Previous to this build I would have ran two complex kinetic catalyzers and one complex stamina module as I speed tanked. I basically attempt to do the same thing with this load out. Seeing as how most weapons will out-gun the LR I use pace and map knowledge to quickly get to choke points and other places I know redberries group up. In my opinion no Laser Rifle user should be without an Active Scanner. Not only does it identify threats, it helps me gauge the distances of enemies and how efficient the Laser Rifle will be in melting them. Disclaimer: I'm fully specialized into the Laser RIfle (PROF 5). While I have played other First Person Shooters in the past and enjoyed them. I have never had as much fun with the unique battle mentality the Laser Rifle brings to the battle. I do enjoy the rough and tumble of CQC, but there is something so sweet to me about killing from a distance and flanking my squad from a distance to ensure battle superiority. And while I might have a Gallente avatar, I'm Amarr at heart and hope dearly to receive this code so I can be a TEMPLAR!! =) |

My favorite fit-
Amarr Logistics ak.0
High Slots-
2x Basic Shield Extenders 1x Enhanced Shield Extenders
Low Slots-
1x Basic Armor Plate 1x Enhanced Armor Plate 1x Basic Cardiac Regulator 1x Basic Armor Repairer
Equipment-
A-45 Quantum Active Scanner R-9 Drop Uplinks K-2 Nanohives
Weapons-
Imperial Scrambler Rifle M512-A SubMachine Gun M1 Locus Grenade
I move slow, but not too much to annoy me :D
I can scan people and keep them scanned for a full minute while only actively scanning about 3 times, and can also scan Scouts without Profile Dampeners on.
I can resupply me and my squad/team when we need it.
I can place Uplinks in strategic positions to keep the fight up on a certain objective.
I can tear through pretty much anyone :D
I have a trusty sidearm to keep me going through an intense fight.
I can overall support not just myself but my teammates too.
With the passive armor repping mod, I make use of my Logistics suit's skill.
I can run exponentially longer (well....it makes a difference to me :P) than I normally could.
And I still have 649 HP :D

My "fun" fit:
Covenant Assault BPO
Plasma Cannon Toxin SMG M-1 Locus
MLT/STD shield extenders/regulators in the module slots. Nanohive (I think I have K-2s on it at the moment)
It costs me about 9k isk, so I'm not at all concerned about losing it, which allows me to run into any situation like a crazy person and try to one-shot heavies. I die a whole lot, but the occasions when I pull off the kamakize and take out 3 or 4 reds with me are too much fun. Plus (and this applies to any PLC fit, of course), the occasional long-distance PLC kill is the most fun thing in the game. Shortly before 1.6, I was in the Border Gulch valley (poitn B in Skirmish mode), by the supply depot...there was a heavy with an AR harassing us from above, on the shelf above to the southeast...I sent a shot in his direction, and he strafed right into it. I'm guessing that's something like a 60 meter one-shot kill. |

Amarr Assault (standard)
Scrambler Rifle SMG Militia Locus grenade
Advanced Uplink
2X militia light damage mods 1X militia armor rep
A cheep glass cannon fit that I can afford to lose over and over in a match and still walk away with a positive isk gain. Because the fit is comprised of standard and militia gear, I rely heavily on passive bonuses from skills to squeeze more performance out of the fit. Uplinks are used to stage pushes on objectives or break redline.

My old favorite fit (uprising 1.0 to a month and a half ago): "Dagonfly" Assault C-1 1x "Toxin" Assault Rifle 1x "Syndicate" SMG 1x Packed AV Grenade 1x Std. Nanohive 2x Militia Shield Extenders 1x Enhanced Armor Plate 1x Militia Armor Repair
This suit is ridiculously efficient ISK-wise with a meager ~6k cost (the non-BPO version is about 10-12k) Now if you invested in skills properly you run with 312-316 Shield (depends on Caldari Asault suit skill and cores) and 278 armor (maxed plates an cores). You can't fit it at first however, you need at least a couple levels in engineering and electronics.
My new favorite suit (since about a month and a half ago): "Templar" Assault A-1 1x "Templar" Scrambler Rifle 1x "Syndicate" SMG 1x Std. locus 1x Compact Nanohive 2x Mlt Shield extenders 1x Complex Reactive Plate
Cost exactly 6670 ISK (adds up to 20,010 when you buy 3 oddly enough) and has 273 shields a well as 298 armor. Why use a downgraded suit health wise? Because the fire power of the scrambler rifle (if you hit the enemy) more than makes up for the loss of health. Its a bit unorthodox putting on a complex reactive, I know but the BPO's save you more ISK than its cost and I just can't trust hives not to break just as I need them or someone else using them up when I desperately need health. Besides the SCR is more fun to use.
Who says you can't kill in style?

Mother was a Caldari politician and my father was an Amarrian historian and former soldier. He wanted a son but instead was given a daughter. Born blind since birth, my father tried his best to make me feel "normal", even going so far as to give me a slaver hound puppy, which I named Xiar, to keep me company. We were inseperable and he was my only friend at times. One night, the Matari slaves which my family owned and had treated with such humanity, decided to rebel and murdered most of my family. My father and mother hid me and Xiar away and as I heard their screams, I knew I would forever be alone. I was eventually found alive and ven at such a young age, I knew what I wanted....revenge against the Matari filfth that took everything away from me. I entered the academy and trained my way to the top. Nothing, not my disability or my gender, could hold me back. During battle, I was severely wounded and left to die. Xiar, always by my side in battle, guarded me with his life. I was beginning to see the light and as I was about to cross over, the Almighty spoke to me...
"Your battle is not over. Your time is not at its end. Take this weapon, emerge from the Light...
...and purify all who stand in your way.
I simply replied "Your will, my hands".
Purification.
It's what I do.

Why do i think, that this is the best DropShip Fit out there?
First: You can have at least 50% Armor Resistance on AT ALL TIMES Second: If you have both hardener active , NO DROPSHIP will be able to hit and kill you, they will die and you wont loose even half your health
How to use this thing:
It is easy, just have 1 armor hardener active at all times activate the 2 at the same time when enter a dangerous situation As soon as you get hit, use the after burner to get out of there ASAP And use the Best Missile turret to rain hell, kill tanks and so on

My favourite fitting is a Winmatar Logi.
4 Shield extenders
Sprint Mod Stamina Mod Codebreaker Dampener
All proto
Uplink Scanner REs
Flux nades SMG
This fit, if I do say so myself, is the skirmish king. The sprint & stamina mods plus a dampener, turns the suit into a what is effectively a scout. But the shield extenders give it far better survivability than a scout could manage.
You reach an objective, scan it for opponents & equipment worth noting. Knowing where your enemies are gives you the element of surprise, and the Flux/SMG combo can decimate almost any suit. The one's it can't are usually slow enough to troll with REs. Flux the objective, clear REs, hack the point in less than half the time, plant your own, and run like hell. Worst case scenario, you die at some point during this incuraion. Don't worry though, the uplink you placed before you got there will throw you straight back into the action, maybe with a few friends!
The only fittings capable of keeping up with this suit, don't have the HP to survive the encounter and no suit has the versatility of it.
Now gimme those damn codes. Minmatar don't let me play dress-up.
No.

I really enjoy using my Valklear Rapid Response Medic:
Standard Minmatar Logistics
Kin - 012 Nanite Injector Kin - 12 Nanohive BDR - 2 Repair Tool
1 Basic Shield Extender 1 Enhanced Shield Extender
1 Enhanced Armor Plate 1 Enhanced Armor Repairer
Standard Assault Rifle Locus Grenade
This suit emphasizes the versatility of the Minmatar and the Resilience of the Elite Combat Unit known as the Valklear.
It provides a very decent tank with a very good movement speed making it the perfect suit to keep my team in top fighting conditions! I can take a few shots to get my team mates up and give them a chance to get out of harms way as I fend off enemy forces with my more than capable standard Assault Rifle and Locus Grenades
After the enemies are dealt with my suit's own native Reps replenish My HP while I go to work on my team with my BDR - 2 Repair tool.
The Kin - 12 Nanohives allow me to keep my team fully stocked with ammo. The built in hacking optimization allows even more diversity by letting me capture enemy objectives quickly even while the battle rages on around me.
The Tribes of the Minmatar Republic are most grateful to Soldiers such as Myself.

First spawn of the game, or when more uplinks are needed: Logistics M/1 1x 'Dren' Assault Rifle 1x Core Locus Grenade 3x Basic Shield Extender 2x Basic Armor Plate 1x Enhanced Cardiac Regulator 1x Allotek Nanohive 1x A-45 Quantum Active Scanner 1x N-11/A Flux Drop Uplink Cost: 65,445 ISK
Otherwise: Logistics M/1 1x 'Dren' Assault Rifle 1x Core Locus Grenade 3x Basic Shield Extender 3x Basic Armor Plate 1x Allotek Nanohive 1x A-45 Quantum Active Scanner 1x Wiyrkomi Triage Nanohive Cost: 88,800 ISK
The first fit is quite quick for a logi fit, allowing me to outrun most non-scout drop uplink mules. Flux uplinks are the best at ADV level- 32.5% spawn time reduction may get someone back to the front lines fast enough to save your life.
I prefer triage nanohives to repair tools, for the simple reason that using a repair tool takes my gun out of the fight, lowering my team's overall damage. Triage nanohives can heal both me and my team, while still allowing me to shoot. Additionally, they help quite a bit in terms of controlling the flow of blueberries- you can do a surprising amount to affect a random pub team's tactics with good nanohive and drop uplink placement. In a concentrated single-area point defense situation, two Wiyrkomi triage hives + two Allotek hives = 220hp/s armor repair in a 7m radius. This is enough to tank a non-HS sniper indefinitely, and plenty to guarantee victory in AR brawls.
The A-45 active scanner is the best piece of equipment in the game, hands down. Especially with the shortened TTK of 1.6, being able to see the entire enemy formation through walls is simply too good. It turns people with mediocre gun game into excellent slayers. Combined with core locus grenades, you can take down entire squads around walls with a few well-placed, well-cooked throws. The scan assists when working with a good squad are just icing on the deliciously overpowered cake.
The AR is the best all-around weapon for a logi, as everyone knows- it's a CQC beast, and is still decently effective at 80+ meters, with high damage per clip and great accuracy.
Core locus grenades are obviously overpowered, and while I feel a little bad about using them, this is New Eden, and there's no honor on the battlefield.

I was eventually found alive and even at such a young age, I knew what I wanted....revenge against the Matari filfth that took everything away from me.
I cried.
Go forth, conquer in my Name, and reclaim that which I have given."

This dropsuit fitting is most likely one of the most demanding skill point wise to fit, you must max out every single PG and CPU modifer for every item you use.
One of the hardest fits to make for an Amarr Assault, for fun try to fit all these onto your amarr assault dropsuit and see how far over you are.

Your not the Amarr Basic Frame lobbyist's that are trying to keep the frames a secret died a little inside.
Heavy Frame > Sentinel.
When everyone starts using heavy frames the few people who know that heavy frames are better will lose there advantage.

THE MIGHTY GALLENTE LOGISTICS PROTO SUIT: (yes I know everyone thinks Gallente frames are the FOTM now, but ive been using this fit since the 1.0-1.1 respecs CCP gave us, so its not like im some sort of frontrunner or anything )
So my standard LGK0 fit is usually something like this:
Actual Suit Designation (fitting name): LG3 Nh,AS,NhR,DU/ASR3 230k
High slots (x3)
x3 Complex damage modifiers (for an overall boost of 26.4% Dmg boost)
Light Weapon Slot
Carthum Assault Scrambler rifle
Grenade slot
M1 Locus Grenade
Equipment slots (x4) (25% reduction to PG/CPU usage)
x1 Ishukone gauged nanohive x1 Active scanner x1 Wiyrkomi Triage nanohive x1 Imperial Flux drop uplink
Low Slots (x5)
x3 enhanced armor plates x2 basic armor plates
Total Shields: 94 Total armor: 755 Total EHP: 849 (respectively with my current skills)
Summary/Application
Alright so its obvious based off the low slots that this suit is not as fast as it could be. However That's okay though because of its role/niche and what its supposed to do. LG3/230k is meant for either point defense, or Heavy frontline support. The suit fills these roles well mostly because of the equipment it comes with.
1.) The proto gauged nanohives it comes with provides an armories worth of ammunition for any squad im supporting, regardless of weather or not the suit is being used in frontline action or point defense action.
2.) The proto Triage hives provide constant armor reps for whoever is within the protective bubbles. This allows for armor heavy squads to simply out-last opponents in that they can be getting up to 140 HP/s from my hives so long as their in range.
3.) The active scanner allows me to spot where the enemy is at all times, and while it might not be the best it is certainly good enough get the job done based off my current in-game experience.
4.) And finally we have the Imperial Flux Drop Uplinks. This is a fantastic uplink because of its -62.50% spawn time modifier (fastest in the game). This allows for rapid deployment of anyone who happens to somehow die during an engagement.
So right now you might have noticed the theme that three of the four equipment pieces carry. The theme in that all except the scanner are passive equipment. The hives and uplinks allow for me to lock down entire areas because 1.) we wont run out of ammo, 2.) its difficult to die with a 70-140hp/s armor rep, and 3.) reinforcements can drop in at less then 4 seconds after dying. Because all of this is passive equipment im able to keep my VERY high damage gun in the fight so long as im not scanning. But because scanning is only used when im not in a gun-fight it never really interferes with my combat effectiveness. Essentially I can singlehandedly set up a temporary base/camp whenever, and wherever I want so long as I don't die on the way there (which is unlikely thanks to a TON of alpha health).
Why its my favorite suit:
This suit costs me about 230k isk per suit, but this is balanced out because the suit allows for me to have a K/d of about 5, and with proper squad support the fit is nearly impossible to kill without something crazy happening like a 4v1 fight, or a random blast from a forge round. I am able to lock down objectives and beat normally overwhelming odds. I do 65.76 damage per shot to shields, and about 46 damage per shot to armor. So long as im in my protective triage bubble its nearly impossible for me to die from oncoming gunfire, and with my active scanner its difficult for the enemy to get the jump on me. Weaknesses to this suit include any and all explosive weaponry and lower mobility, but because of my experience with it ive gotten much better at positioning myself in ways where most explosives cant effectively hit me and I can compensate for the lack of mobility.
This suit is NOT the best support suit, but its certainly above average in that all of the modules/equipment have some sort of team support role in mind. My fitting allows me to be a beast in combat, and also give invaluable support to my team whenever it needs it. I know this suit is effective because I consistently get within top 3 in both Pub and PC matches, and while im still working on things to improve my play (ie: im working on hacking skills right now) This suit allows me to give my team much needed support whenever I can.
A brief history of how the suit came to fruition:
I choose to spec into the LGK0 at a time when everyone was running the CaLogi suit. Even as early as 1.0 I was aware that the CaLogi suit was likely going to get nerfed in the future just based off its raw stats. So instead of respeccing into the CaLogi suit, I decided to spec into the Gallente Logi because at the time EVERYONE THOUGHT armor tanking was impossible and completely useless. But Myself along with one other (fitznasty) thought differently. Using our collective efforts we were able to develop an armor tanking fitting that was a one of a kind BEAST of a suit. Back when I first got the suit it was nearly invincible. The only thing being able to kill it was grenades. This lead to further development and eventually it lead to the suit I have posted above which has equipment/modules that compliments each other.
Heres my original post about armor tanking all the way back when we got our first Respec. (again the suit is much different now, but the concept behind it is very much the same): https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1014329#post1014329
So yeah..... That's my favorite suit in a nutshell

Born an enslaved Minmatar, life was hard, at age ten I was beaten so severely for stealing bread, to feed my malnourished baby brother, that I lost my right eye. Scarred and terrified I ran as fast and as far as I could in my haste I had abandoned the one thing I had sworn to protect, My brother; I swore one day I would return and free him from the Amarr tyrants that for years.
Seven long years had I been running hiding in hovels and stowing away on mining vessels earning what I could and doing unthinkable things to scrape by, the time had come. I returned to the place I was born; Hell. I crept into the house intending only to retrieve Rikku and leave as silently as I came, I didn't think my old masters maybe they would have acquired new security force. I was spotted as I entered through the hydroponic garden, I ran. Soon, winded and out of options, I found my self in the smoking lounge, a room i was previously forbidden to enter.
I barricaded the door in a desperate attempt to prolong what was as surely my death. I pushed the conference table against the door and ran to knock over the overlarge wardrobe. I was stopped dead. The damn thing wouldn't budge, it wasn't bolted to anything, just enormously heavy. I opened the door thinking to empty the cabinet and use anything worthwhile to save my brother and myself. Instead I found our salvation and our future Dropsuits, two of them the first too small for me, a Scout suit from what I had seen on the Holocoms , hopefully it would fit Rikku, and the second an Amarr Heavy suit, A rare Prototype Sentinel AK.0. This was it, this was my chance to save my brother and free us forever. I donned the titanic suit, stiff and nearly impossible to move. I was trapped, soon they would be through the door and I would be dead and just as soon as they found me out they would surely kill my brother, I was so Stupid!
They were almost through the door, as I struggled against the suit, I heard a whirring sound then a click. All the sudden I felt nothing but pain, immense pain, it was my head! no, my neck, the back of my neck was on fire, I couldn't see, I was going to pass out, It's over. And then just as fast as it came the pain was gone, and I could move! the power, the energy, the suit was alive, the suit was me!
The door groaned and splintered, no time to think, had to act. I grabbed a case in the wardrobe, opened it. modules, tons of them I grabbed what I could and linked them into the suit. Next I needed a weapon, anything. I found another, larger, case, in it a sub-machine gun and some assorted grenades, "that'll do." I thought to myself. but there was one more object leaning against the cabinet wall in the back, Another case? no, that wasn't a case, it was a Forge Gun, those were illegal in the sector. No matter, I needed anything that could get us out of here, and at the very least, it would make for a very impressive exit.

If all goes according to plan my Falchion blows up 7 Blueberries in my LogiDerp, I ride off into the sunset with 2x Blues in my damaged Falchion, Scan for Reds while spinning my Rocket Turret & shooting like a madman for that Michael Bay Effect & stop in front of an Installation, then hop out. There should now be 3 DOA Blues in my Falchion as it goes BOOM!!! I menacingly Power-Walk behind enemy lines and proceed to swipe my Blades, making sure to switch Weapons after every swipe for that true Ninja Commando Effect, and MLT Inject any Blues I see taking Sniper Fire.
I will need that 100 Mil ISK now to fund my Amarrian Rampage under the guise of an AWOXing Gallentard (I'm a Ninja???). Might as well hand me the additional 50 Mil ISK for coming in 1st & 2nd. Oh...& I'll need those BPOs for when I officially go broke. How's that for a "Sell"??? |

The key to this fitting is the Scrambler Pistol, as it serves numerous purposes.
1) Low fitting cost. With my skills, I come to 457/462 CPU and 94/96 PG with the scrambler pistol.
2) Reminds me of what I'm on the battlefield to do. With a Freedom MD, or even my 'Exile' AR, I tend to lose my purpose whilst destroying redberries. Wielding the SP constantly reminds me to check my equipment, check for people who need supporting, and in general make the most out of the equipment I have by force multiplying.
3) Forces me to play safe. Outside of CQC I'm extremely ineffective in combat, and as such I have to ensure I keep scanning, have that situational awareness to alert me to threats which could destroy my bloody expensive suit.
3) Amarrian weapon on a Minmatar suit. The headshot bonus is no less on Amarrian gear. And some have pretty big heads. (I kid, I kid. I have great respect for the zeal of the Amarrians.)
4) Combined with flux grenades I can eradicate equipment with precision and ammunition economy, reserving nanite clusters of my hives for those who really need it.
5) I can still get kills by using it with my scanner to locate unmoving targets and popping them, and headshotting unmoving targets also contributes to ammunition conservation.
6) It's a sexy weapon. That's all there is to it. The Amarrians in all their zealotry have succeeded once again in producing a masterpiece of destruction and beauty. Killing people with this thing is ridiculously fun.
Planning on upgrading to the Carthum Assault, may have to sacrifice a shield extender but I reckon it'll be worth it.

While the afterburner / scanner combo is nice and can be a great way to stay alive, I've found that having the extra shields gives me just enough time to react to things like railguns or forge guns, which will usually straight up kill you on the second shot. It also provides excellent defense against swarms. This fit allows you to stay alive just a little bit longer, letting you actually fight under fire for a few seconds. Obviously it's vulnerable if you slow down too much, since you can't just bug out, but generally speaking I only die to stupid things like redline railgun tanks or wonky physics.
This fit can also usually survive having enemy or friendly dropships crash into you, so long as your ship doesn't glue to theirs as they crash.

I've been running this fit for the last 5 months with some tweaks here and there. It all began when I started feeling the AR was getting a bit boring, so I decided to try out the shotgun scout. Kills skyrocketed. Deaths skyrocketed. It was a glorious bloodbath. I put off investing SP into scout suits until I finished skilling Caldari assault which I had been training before my discovery. And quite honestly, that was a waste of time and SP as I rarely run Medium/AR anymore. Being the cheapo I am, I skilled partially into Minmatar scout, but decided not to go all the way as I almost never run proto. With the fixed hit detection there is really no difference between 300 EHP and 500 EHP so this suit isn't that much worse than its proto variants, besides the passive skills and slots for electronics.
Nothing is more rewarding than a OHK on a 150k proto with a militia shotgun .

Not really viable (at all), but I've been having fun dying in it: Scout mk.0 3 complex myofibs enhanced cardio enhanced kincat basic hives (til I can fit a good scanner) flux nades dual core flaylocks
Gives me a total of 179 ehp atm (which makes it all the more satisfying getting kills), ~413 melee damage (feels pretty funny taking down proto mediums in 2 hits, or heavies in 3-4), ok sprint speed & stamina. I generally switch between playing like I'm using knives (sneaking up on that lone merc and bashing his helmet in) or going the leroy jenkins route, tossing in flux nades, firing my flaylocks on the way in and smacking anyone in range before I die. Somehow managed to go k/d positive a few times. Always fun having people think I'm out after 3 flaylock rounds and walking into 3 more too. |

DUST Uni scamming fits out of people... That's the proper school! GG.
Since Codex I fell in love with TAC used with my Gallente Scout suit. Although since Uprising I haven't played as much (thus only cca 15m SPs) that love still lasts. Before TAC it was Shotgun.
Now with nice new mechanic of scanning, I try to fit all my old loves in fits that make sense while battling lower-ish SP. Two fits:
Scout gk.0 tac reps
- - Complex Light Damage Mod
- Complex Kinetic Catalyzer - 'Membrane' Complex Cardiac Regulator - Militia Armor Plates BPO - 'Obelisk' Complex Armor Repairer

Latter has B variant, where Basic Reactive Plate changes its place with Militia Profile Dampener BPO to lower my Scan Profile from 31.05 to 26.39, thus avoiding 28db scanner if on field.
As being rusty plus all the nastiness scout got since Uprising, I run this babies not that often as of late. Been slacking in ADV variants quite successfully, too.

I love this fitting. I don't have as much eHP as most Armor stacked Logis you see these days but I've always been more about Regen Rates as compared to max health. I chose running the Cannon with on a Logi suit to force me into becoming better with one of the worst weapons in the game (only tied with Knives and the HMG) and making a commitment to sticking to cover after shots to let my Shields kick in. The reason I chose the GalLogi is solely based on the Equipment fitting penalty. Running around with the weapon that uses the most CPU (98 for the KLA) makes you fight for every little bit of CPU you will need for all the Equipment. I'll eventually max out this Fit then start exploring other walks of life. Even when I do that, I doubt I'll leave the path of being one of the few Logi Cannoneers.

'Goalkeeper' Python Assault Dropship
- -: 2x Azeo. Shield extender, 1x Supplemental shield extender, 1x afterburner
-: 1x Light Payload module, 1x local PG upgrade
T: 1x x-3 Accelerated Missile, 2x Standard Missiles
This ship's only mission is quick insertion onto buildings and early-battle defense against enemy dropships, hence the 'goalkeeper' nickname. She's also recently claimed her first enemy ADS kill (the following events may have been exaggerated and names changed to protect the innocent):
===================================================================================================================
I had just dropped off my insertion squad on top of the objective roof. There was no sign of the enemy as of yet, but we knew they were coming for us.
"Clear at the rear gate," Ashley radioed in.
"Alright, squad," ordered our squad leader, Tex, "let's move in to th..." *BOOM* "AHHGG, I'M HIT!!!"
Tex was thrown to the wall but the sudden explosion. Simmons and Leo rushed over to help him up and to cover.
"Enemy Incubus spotted!" Ashley's voice said over my headset. "Vulpes can you engage?"
"Way ahead of you," I replied.
Afterburner raging, fists clinching the controls, eyes pealed for the enemy. I spotted him, hovering just south of where we landed, popping of shots like a kid with a new cap gun. Desperate to protect my team, I turn about and brush in front of his nose to draw his fire on myself. I hit, he hit, I turn skyward and he follows.
"Here we go." I said with a smirk.
I climb to a safe hight to ensure it's just me and him. Mono a mono. I swerve back and forth to throw off his targeting, watching missiles fly by my field of view. The ship shudders and lurches clockwise as my starboard thruster takes a direct hit.
"Hold on, girl. Just a bit more."
Leveling out, I about and activate my afterburners, launching head-first straight at the enemy craft.
"Let's see how you like it!" I yelled, mashing the trigger and sending a swarm of missiles from my forward turret.
*POW POW POW* The missiles smashed into his armour like hail onto a hovercar. Meters before collision he rolls my left in to a dive, I barrel roll right, right behind him.
Is which to manual targeting; this needed precision. *Pow* Hit *Pow* Hit. One after another as he turned, rose, looped, stopped and started, anything to get me off his tail. But I was on him worse than a Slavehound on a Matari runaway.
I assumed by this time his armour repair had switched off because he entered into true panic mode. He flew straight up in a attempt to get above my turret and then went straight into a dive, accelerating to a breakneck speed. Gladly, I followed.
I assumed he was headed for the additional cover of his MCC, and I was not about to let this coward get away. Flooring my thrusters, afterburner blazing, and turret locked on, I unleash everything I had at him. We were already over enemy airspace, a red timer notified of the enemy MCC's turrets locking onto my ship, my scanning equipment estimated the armour level of his ship.
*Hit* [1053] "MCC TARGETING: 00:13.98"
"Come on..."
*Hit* [489] "MCC TARGERING: 00:10.28"
"Come oooon.....!" Smoke was billowing from his thrusters.
*Hit* [0]
"YES!!!" I shouted, watching his flaming hull plummet toward the earth.
"MCC TARGETING: 00:07.82"
"F**K!"
I turn hard into my left, punch the afterburner and race back toward friendly airspace.
"MCC TARGETING: 00:05.29"
"Shoot..."
"MCC TARGETING: 00:03.14"
"Shoot shoot shoot!!"
"MCC TARGETING: 00:01.01"
"Shootshootshootshootshoot."
"MCC TARGEGǪ. LOCK BROKEN"
"YES!" I made it, scott free.
The rest of the mission went off without a hitch. Our team held it's ground and enemy retreated back to the HQ, we'll finish them some other day, for now, we'll celebrate our victory.
"Nice flying out here, Vulpes," Tex said back in our quarters.
"Thanks, you know, not every game goes as well as that for us pilots."
"Yeah? I'm sure, flying those million-ISK glass coffins, I'm sure it sets you back quite a bit."
"Heh, yeah. I just wish there was someway to play a few rounds on the ground without spending too much on gear, of if some kind benefactor would just drop 50 or 100mil in my account overnight.. Ah well, maybe someday."
"Yeah, but don't get your hopes up. Keep up the good work."

Fav fit and top DPS.
Heavy pro basic. 2 complex dam mods 2 complex red batterys 1 Enhanced Green battery Six kin HMG Six kin SMG Flux nads. with 1200 eHP
This suit offers Speed of an AR player at 6.80 Sprint speed. With the Six Kin your able to run into there face and BURST into there face. Even proto assaults have a hard time with this. This stops the slowness of the heavy thus making it so you dont take so much damage from AR players.
Think about it. No matter how much eHP you have the slower you are the more damage you will take. Speed+2 damage mods+lvl 5 prof+ base eHP of 1200 is crazy. No assault can have that much eHP and still have damage mods and have sprint speed of 6.80 :D You can make it faster then an AR player but cant sprint that long.
This suit can show that eHP on a SET suit doesn't mean anything being slow. The DPS can kill them even with a logy with a Proto repair tool :D You could also put the AR on the suit over the HMG. Youll be an Assault with more eHP and damage mods :D
Would love to have the BPO tho. A little poor lol. ISK would be nice but the BPO would be a little nicer. There are players who would want the ISK more.
Hope heavys will like this suit or even an AR player. Dont get this suit nerfed please :D

Im working towards getting mass drivers. When i kill someone and i have a positive KD i get such a good feeling inside cause i know they are pissed off. My damage mods help give me enough extra power to kill my opponent and then the repper helps bring me back to full health for my next target. The assault rifle works like a dream in almost everything i get myself into and it is almost unbeatable. Even with a low lifetime sp i can compete with protobears (two protos in a PC match couldnt kill me even when i was alone)

I love the sound and seeing my prey scramble for cover. I chose the amarr suit to boost the scrambler rifle, i never overheat even after 2 entire clips are fired. When im with a squad i am able to lay cover fire for long periods as they move in and finish off the poor target. The nanohives keep me supplied so i dont need to rely on any logis , this allows the logis i run with to provide support to the other members and to stay in cover while using the other equipment they have. best match ive had with this fit (not agaisnt noobs i might add) was 32-2. When i do take sever damage i have my double reps that quickly bring my armor back up to reengage. |

Low slots - 1x Local Powergrid Expansion Unit - 1x N-Type Vehicular Hardener - 1x Light IG-L Polarized Armor Reparier
Turret - 1x ST-1 Missile Launcher
It costs 253,200 ISK and has been my bread and butter for keeping shield and hybrid tanks alive. The light clarity ward shield transporter will boost a tanks shields for a combined 300 HP per pulse for 12 pulses each. Considering it's low price, at least in comparison to the tanks I'm chasing around which often cost 1+ million ISK, it's disposable.
Because the Limbus has a fair base resist, along with the armor hardener it is fitted with, it can take a comparable beating to the tank while still being more maneuverable.
The scanner it's fitted with has a 100 meter range and can free up a necessary high-slot on the tank along with some CPU.

I'm a former capsuleer, a Minmatar researcher and small combat ship pilot. My favourite ship was always the Rifter and it's Assault models (Wolf and Jaguar). Speed, guns, gaff tape, and not much else. Flown right and fitted intelligently they were amazingly versatile, but make a mistake and you're on either a long trip home in a pod, or a quick trip home to a fresh clone.
When I started up in Dust, I followed my roots and stuck with the Minmatar. And to my great pleasure, the Mini suits followed the Rifter philosophy too. I'm only just approaching 10m skill points now so I'm mostly running advanced gear, but my favourite fit combines the great Minmatar traditions of speed, power and rust...
Scout M/1-Series -
Enhanced Shield Energiser Enhanced Light Damage Modifier

GEK-38 Assault Rifle KLO-1 Scrambler Pistol
R9 Drop Uplink
Working as a flanker and hit and run assault, the fit is fast, quiet, powerful, and will fold like a deck of cards if I get caught unaware. So that way I know if I go down, it's my fault for not paying more attention
The drop uplinks give me the opportunity to get behind enemy lines and change the flow of battle and, as much as it pains me to make use of Amarr tech, the Scrambler Pistol is an outstanding hold out weapon. I've faced down any number of heavies with only a pistol and come out with my life, so it's a standard on all of my fits.
So there you have it, the Rifter of Drop Suits.

My go-to fitting is rather simple and cheap, but very effective. With over 500 EHP and a minor innate Armor regen, it's quite durable. It helps keep my team on the front lines and well supplied, and the Laser Rifle tends to intimidate the other team and hold them back while my squad regroups.
It's excellent for defending positions, and the sidearm is a very effective and unexpected backup when enemies start closing in.

There is nothing better than Victor, AKA Templar One, aka Kazeno in the murder logi fit that has come back from the brink of death after much reconsideration and tinkering.
Being a proto-enabled, Amarri specialized Logi (IGÇÖm also proto-Caldari Assault, . . . . . a person has issues letting go of their past), battlefield survivability is of a must.
At first I thought that the power of dual tanking and high armor repGÇÖing would be the lee to battlefield dominance. But the reign go the AR has lasted long and has sullied the true glory of death by the light of Amarr. My scrambler rifle will see its glory again. Soon (come 1.7). But as this putrid reign breaths its last breaths I am still at their mercy. No longer.
But that is off topic. I ma no longer a Templar brought forth to be the hand of AmarrGÇÖs mighty justice and righteousness. No I am a mercenary with only one purpose in mind; MY CONTINUED SURVIVAL AND PROSPERITY! Every day alive is one more day that I am able to punish all of those that defy my will. But that is a long road and requires intelligent planning, exquisite engineering, and economic consciousness.
So when knew builds their suit, one has to think what is the job and what does the client require? These are my primary goals. But ultimately I must do everything possible to ensure victory. Victory is never achieved without intel. Intel is my specialty; Long Range Reconnaissance and Patrol - LRRP - ranging, QRT (Quick Reaction Team). Target identification, asset location, parameter mapping.
I would like to introduce you to the GÇÿLRRPGÇÖ 18B (named so for the Special Forces MOS identification number for a weapons specialist for long range operations).
Amarr Adv. Logi - GÇÿLRRPGÇÖ 18B - 585ehp @ 44.1k ISK - Open Ranging ARMOR: 412 SHIELDS: 173 SCAN RADIUS: 13m SCAN PRECISION: 38dB
HIGHS: Complex Precision Scanner Basic Shield extender Enhanced Light Damage mod
LOWS: 2 x Basic Plates Complex Armor Repairer
WEAPONS: CRW-04 Scrambler Rifle GÇÿToxinGÇÖ SMG Locus grenades
EQUIP: K-2 Nanohive KIN-012 Nanite Injector Flux Active Scanner
With my skill set it is effective, resilient, and especially dangerous in two man teams. The armor repGÇÖing in conjunction with it having one of the best shield recover rates applies for itGÇÖs survival. The scanner allows for the identification of enemy combatants in relation to the operator. The CRW is perfect to counter the current reign of the AR (at least until the ranges are tweaked backed to REALITY). When my rifle is given itGÇÖs due place amongst the stars, this same fit is actually preferred with a CRD-9. A Minmatar SMG seems only appropriate as my sidearm. What better way to execute the unfaithful but with the implements of a slave, of they are lower than a slave.
The Precision scanner ensures that other ranging teams fail to get the drop on the team while conduction intel assessments. To ensure continued operations and long term intelligence gathering, nanite injectors are a must, and a KIN is the best bang for the buck, in every aspect: CPU, PG, ISK, revival survivability (50% of 412 = 206).
No better ranging team can be found, and no better addition to a QRT and open field engagements.
FOR your CQC needs, please sub CRW with a CDR-09.

2 Azeotropic shield extenders 1 Light Clarity Shield Booster 1 F-84 scanner (great for low level city passes)
1 Local Power Diagnostic System (7% shield inrease, 7% pG) 1 Light Payload Controll System II (Damage mod)
2 XT-1 accelerated missile launchers
I really love this fit. The scanner is great for picking up passing tanks/infantry the Accelerated seems to have better accuracy and is more well rounded for taking out tanks/DS and infantry
Overall i have very good times with this fitting. Especially with 2 gunners! Have had both gunners go 36/0 and 34/0 in a match. |

My anti-armor fitting is called "UBER AV"
I combine it with a well shielded and armored LAV for mobility.
It is built upon the Logistics gk.0
I use a Wiyrkomi Swarm Launcher with 3 Complex Light Damage Modifier for maximum damage.
For survability (without sacrificing too much mobility) I use 5 Enhanced Armor Plates. I put down Wiyrkomi Triage Nanohives and Ishukone Gauged Nanohives to keep me alive and well supplied.
For good mesure, I keep Packed AV Grenage if vehicules gets too close for comfort!
This fitting destroys installation Turrets in two shots! And makes any vehicules backtracks if they survives the first salvos.
Enjoy the Destruction!

This is what i run now, i have proto, but this is about 40k and very effective. ELM because it reaches 1 meter farther than the laser rifle. Assault scrambler pistol cause pistols are awesome! 2 complex mods for bigger damage, and to see those nerf the laser rifle posts. Armour stuff cause real men armor tank (in EVE its real men hull tank, but this is the closest i could get). AV nades for those people that think they should call an LAV in to get close to me instead of running at me. K-2's cause everyone loves ammo! |

This is KING CHECKMATE:
My Favourite Loadout , even if i cannot use it very often because of its price and the fact scouts get ripped appart unless they are heavily tanked like Gallente ones....
Das Uber Mk.0
-Minmatar Mk.0 Scout suit -Glu-5 Tac AR -Ishikune SMG -Enhanced CPU Enhancer -Reactive plate (cant remember if Cx or Adv ATM) -x2 Cx Shield Extenders -1 Enh Shield Ext -Quantum ADV active scanner
Passive Skills that help the suit: +CPU Lv4 +Pg Lv4 Profile Dampening Lv 5 Scan Precision Lv 3 Scan Range amplifier Lv4 Biotics Lv 5 (+5% Speed / stamina , stamina regen) Prof 3 AR Prof 4 SMG's Armor Lv 4 Shields Lv 4
The Suit is deliciously slim, and fast. The combination of Glu-5 and Ishi SMG is Beast for a scout. In open maps the Glu helps me score damage vs enemies at longer ranges while heavily depending on COVER to abuse the fast Shield regeneration the suit has, paired with 300 shields, helps me take down enemies or severly injure them at longer ranges, while my Ishi smg and fast movement speed rip open ANY enemy at Close quarters in a 1 on 1 fight.Even , Heavies.... Now the glu is a great weapon even in Mid range, specially when you are fist and can always be the first to shoot... The Glu-5 + Ishi SMG combination give me Powerful attack options at different ranges, The Active scanner helps my team and myself pick up preys and my Profile dampening level 5 plus the SCOUT bonus let me evade ADV Scanners easily. The reactive plate, even if not a big Hp Buff (Runs around 150- armor) gives me some passive Armor Regen that is MUCH needed in this suit. Even while being a small armor rep bonus its still VERY useful considering the low Armor the suit carries. Also the reactive plate Speed penalty is almost null, leaving my speed almost intact.
Fast, (8.25+ sp/speed) , 305 Shields, 150 Armor, Armor regen, Mid-Long Range weapon, Close-Mid range weapon, Active scanner and profile dampening. The Suit does it all Offensivley speaking.
The downside ,well , the first one is the suit is pretty expensive and not very resistant. While moving very fast and trying to take cover many times i get killed BEHIND cover, like the bullet magically followed me. a Single Toxin Ar can Rip a hole in my butt in less than 10 bullets....
The suit is fun. The suit FEELS great. And its Highly recommended for scouts looking for a different loadout. But remember the 2 rules to use this suit:
1- Have ISK to spend: loosing 2 of these suits will take your ISK earnings in a match all the way down to 0. 2- If the enemy has Pro Scanners. Back.The. F***.Out...XD

I'm just here to A.) bump this thread and B.) remind you to take Leviathan into consideration for this
Today I went 18 matches straight without a death with this glorious fit before having to sign off, this being just one of many similar matches (warning, no sound, it bugged).
As one of the first people who will happily tell you dropships are garbage, I still must tip my hat to the Assault Dropships, the Incubus in particular. Even if you aren't a Gallente loyalist as you should be, you simply can't deny this sexy piece of machinery. With an armor tank that would make Ares himself jealous, you can survive what no other dropship can, coming back from the brink of certain death, time after time. Also, you can take pride in knowing that every move you make, is a move made with skill. These bad boys are not only difficult to fly, but they require your utmost attention, not only always scanning for potential targets, but potential threats.
Nothing keeps you in the moment quite like flying this ship. If you're up against a lone swarm launcher, you can laugh in his face as you shrug off volley after volley, until he meets his inevitable fate at the hand of your fragmented turret.
This is glory incarnate. I urge anyone with a knack for flight to grab this ship A.S.A.P., and try out my fit for yourself.
If you've got the skills, you won't be disappointed

Unlike most of the peoples I have read, my favourite (not best) fit is an ADV. level suit, instead of proto or BPO This is because (esp. when playing in a squad) proto is too 'easy mode' IMO and BPO's just don't give the reliable performance of the higher tier suits
So my most common suit is this
Amarr logi ADV Adv scrambler rifle Syndicate smg
1x complex shield extender 1x complex light damage mod 1x enhanced precision enhancer
3x basic/enhanced plates
Adv quantum scanner Stable drop uplinks Adv nanite injector
With proficiency lvl 3 and a complex damage mod (they compound together) so I get 19.9% more damage to my SR which absolutely melts people and can 1-2 shot most suits that aren't brick tanked (including proto) the smg comes in very handy when in CQC and my SR is about to over heat.
General tactic (CQC): -Scan to gather surroundings (lasts 16 seconds, long enough to do most things) -If someone is close around a corner, start charging a shot -as soon as they pop out, release the shot (I have skills in profile dampening so it I'm not running most suits can't see me) -if they still have health, fire 3-4 more shots (enough so you don't overheat) -if they still aren't dead, switch to smg and finish them in close quarters
General tatic (range): -scan -target the weakest, stillest, or most dangerous suit (you need to use your own judgement here) -only use charge shots unless they are almost dead or a scout -TAKE YOUR TIME with your shots, you don't want to over heat
Using pads and pens (drop uplinks and nanite injectors) I can keep my team rezzed and provide strategic spawn placement to allow for more domination of the map Using adv pens means I don't have as large of a need to carry a rep tool as I restore 50% armour every time I Rez a player
The natural 5hp/s of the logi means on my adv suit I can focus on plates instead of losing a low slot for a repper which gives me that extra resistance to stand at the front line when I need to at the cost of a small bit of speed, although this is a minor inconvenience as I use this a point defence suit and vehicles can be used to travel long distances
(For further information) My proto suit follows much the same principle but with a complex repper and nearly all the modules a complex

Hello I Run Combat Logi all the way. I am unsure as to what you mean by "favorite" ie, my best fit or the one I constantly run in order to save money, since money is tight. My best fit is just over 200k and I certainly get killed alot so dont run it as much as I would like. Since I know not which your refer, I am going to give both fits. First Fit, best and would love to just run steady.
Logistics gk.0 (200k +) Weapon - Duvolle High- 3xcomplex Shield (for more tanky tanky, as of late have been swapping a dmg or two in to help the duvolle along) Side-None I am a logi and not amarr Grenade - 1x M1 Locus Grenade Lows - 3x Complex Armor Plates, 1xBasic Armor plates, 1xEnhanced PG upgrade. (yup brick with the hp on this suit) Equipment (here is where I have fun) 1x A-45 Quantum Active Scanner(Adv but keeps targets red for 16s) 1x Allotek Nanohive (R) this is the 72 cluster 3xcarried repping/resupply nanos.) so when I am hurt and an in need for some heals, and no logis around I pop one of these down and they rep for 40hp/s which is not too bad, plus after fill up on that ammo I am going to need too. Next the 1x Wiyrkomi Nanite Injector 80% revive and well worth it, most people dont fit it thinking its proto so must be pricey, but actually I think its the cheapest proto equipment there is coming it a low cost of 7,050isk, so ya I fit that on everything including my advanced fits. Finally the repper, I use the Six Kin Triage Repair Tool, and it used to be less but its now up to 88hp/s by two streams, with a pretty far range of 21m so alot of times I am repping the guy in front of me and it just branches away to heal a second at the same time. All in all I follow the pack doing dmg but just trying to stay alive to rez and repair along the way. Now for the cheaper one that I run almost constantly trying to make iskies. Logistics G/1-series (58k ish) The throw away suit. Weapon - Gek-38 Assault Rifle High - 2xcomplex Dmg Mod Side - None Grenade - 1xM1 Locus Grenade Lows - 1x Complex Kinetic Catalyzer, 2x Enhanced Armor Plates Equipment - 1x A-45 Quantum Active Scanner, 1x Wiyrkomi Nanite Injector, 1x BDR-8 Triage Repair Tool, which does one stream of 75hp/s however this does often get swapped out for 1x K-2 Nanohive for the ammo supply on the run, especially if I am in a group with no real need for reps. Sorry that was quite long, and thanks again for running such a great Event. |

Weapons Large - 80GJ Stabilized Blaster (increased zoom) so that I an shoot farther away from enemies Small- ST-1 Accelerated Missile Launcher, Militia MT-1 Missile Launcher High Slots - Militia Active Scanner (Lights up the enemies), Active Heat Sink ll (Helps burn down the enemies) Low Slots - 180mm Reinforced Nanofiber plates (2448hp), Heavy IG-L Polarized Armor Regenerator (342hp/pulse x5), 2x Carapace Armor Hardeners (25%dmg reduction to armor) These beauties last 60s each and with a cool down of 15s I stagger them by 15s so that at the very least I have 1 running constant but for 45s the rest of the time both are running. 1x Local Powergrid Expansion Unit +15%PG to help fit it all.
Thats what I run and its pretty affordable for a tank fit, 556k so about 2-3 proto dropsuits, has 6k armor(plus that 50% harderners so a total of 58%dmg reduction dont have my skills to 5 yet, 1100shield . So I called this fit,
Light em up, watch them burn!
I also run the exact same thing with a different more dmg turret but this is my favorite right here. |

Tired of being offered expensive and so painful-to-lose prototype gear? Still believe that standard weapons and suits can give these people a lesson in the proper hands? You have come a long way working to improve your all times favourite and most loyal suit. Now it's time to prove yourself!
Take a look at this 'G-1 Toxin' assault Fit
For only 16,020 ISK you get:
-Assault G-1 dropsuit -1x Complex shield extender (total shields: 217 HP) -2x Basic armor plates (total armor: 439 HP) -1x Complex armor repairer (total armor repair rate: 6.25 HP/s)
Excellent defenses and repairing rate to survive even in the most harsh crossfire.
Armed with: -'Toxin' Assault Rife. The most versatile weapon on the field to acomplish any task and respond to any type of threat at many ranges. With a level 5 proficiency, you trust your skills and don't need any external damage increase.
-'Syndicate' Submachine Gun. The beautiful remnant of a revolutionary past, this is your support when bullets run off or at close range combat quickly eating to the very last of your enemies hitpoints. -Locus Grenades
But you can't go to battle with such a survivor setup without extra rounds to keep on fighting! 'G-1 Toxin' also comes with 2 standard Nanohives.
It's time to earn the respect of your enemies by your real skills and not by the size of your wallet. Go forth. Play well. |

My favorite fit:
Gallente light dropsuit Sniper Rifle Nova Knives Armor repair unit Armor Platings Militia shield extender Locus Grenades Drop Uplink
I love thin dropsuit because I am able to run at a fast pace and be sneaky. I can run around and beat people up from behing with the charged nova knives. I am also able to snipe from distance to support my teammates. This class is really good if u wanna have some real fun with ur friends. If I get shot I have the armor repair that will slowly rep my armor. I can also rack up points by allowing my teammates to spawn in the battle with my drop uplink. I use the locus grenades for close combat or when enemies are in large numbers. The armor platings allow me to take more damage and gives me enough time to nova knife them>
Thin is why I pick this as my favorite class. |

Code Name: Cheap Evil Bastard
Militia Amarr Heavy Frame
Militia Forge Gun Toxin SMG
Militia Locus Grenades Militia Shield Recharger Militia Armor Repairer
600 Shield 450 Armor
Total Cost, 2,470 ISK
What do I love about this fit, pretty much everything. For starters it can one shot kill all but the most tanked out heavies, and even then it leaves them in bad shape. On one of the first games I tested it out I ended up forge sniping 11 clones in an ambush match while on the ground and got some nice fan mail for my efforts. Since then I have never had much trouble against anything, except the occasional well fitted tank.
Another thing I love about this fit is, you can't not make money with this thing. Generally I would have to die 70 times in a match to go ISK negative. That means if you were in a stacked 50 clone ambush against Teamplayers and Nyain San with just yourself, you're going to make some money and maybe take down quite a few if you're aim is good enough.
There is also, ahem, the nature of it being the best trolling fit I have come across, as nothing makes someone who takes the game too seriously rage harder than having their expensive suit gunned down by a Militia Forge Gun wielded by a Militia Heavy. In fact, one of my acquaintances demonstrated this by getting shot in the back after clearing the top of a building. In the tirades that followed I was inspired to create this suit so I could extract more precious tears for myself. Also, like every other trucker I have experienced many times where a teammate has hopped into my LAV and refused to get out. Now combine this suit with a free LAV and I have the option to drive us both into the redline and commit suicide without feeling any pain in my wallet.
This fit has more freedom and is easily the most fun I've had out of any that I've used. Because it's so darn cheap and effective, crazy strategies become viable where they would make you go broke on more expensive suits. Stuff like sneaking up behind snipers and giving them a hug with a grenade in one hand or charging into a group of enemies just to hit one with a forge shot. In short, enables a level of expression not found on others and a welcome break from the monotony of grinding SP.
If that doesn't work for you, just check out a realistic illustration of what it's like to use the Cheap Evil Bastard fit for yourself.

I personally prefer blueprints more than anything. So i just level the crap out of the weapons that I have blueprints of. I also like to use my blueprints to make custom, totaly unlimited free suites. My favorite suit right now is my fully blueprinted 'dragonfly' scout g-1 [nsv]. I has one militia shield extender blueprint, two militia armor plates blueprints, one militia locus grenade blueprint, one militia nanohive blueprint, a 'dren' shotgun, and a toxin icd- 9 submachine gun. I am not skilled in gallante scouts yet, so no suit bonuses are applied, however i am still perfectly capable of getting great kill death ratios in any game with it, just as long as I can sneak my way past enemy lines. Also, under the situation that I die, the suit is completely free anyway. Now, my dropsuit shield upgrades skill is at level 4, and my dropsuit armor upgrades is at level 4, so both shield and armor each have a 20% increase from the base hit points. Also, shield extention is at level 4, and armor plating is at level 3, which are not very big percent increases to effinciency of the health mods, but every little bit helps. Now that leavs my suit with 108 shield, and 336 armor, which is pretty survivable for a standard scout suit. Also the effectiveness of the straffing with a scout suit makes it all the more hard to kill, thats if i even get spotted of course, which rarely happens. Now that i have covered the survivability of the suit, i am going to point out the effectiveness of the weapons. My shotgun opperation skill is maxed out, and the proficiency is at level 1. So the shotgun, even just being a standard, is quite efficient at 2 to 3 shot killing at 10 to 20 meters away, because of the tightened bullet spread. So , pretty much any non heavy suits, below proto level, are always 1 shot kills for me at point blank. Even then, heavies or protos just take a headshot or two to drop. Finally, my submachine gun sharpshooter is at level 1, but submachine guns are incredibly good with no skill points into them anyway, so I occationally get great matches with this shotgun/submachine gun combo. The submachin gun is rarely needed anyway, its mostly just for finishing someone that got a little out of shotgun range, and even then the submachine gun by itself is quite good at melting a suits hp. Now, with just all of these things, I am almost unstoppable with the 'dragonfly' scout, and even then, I still have the grenade and nanohive blueprints as two extra goodies. It's of course not very difficult to get a couple kills by cooking grenades, so that just adds to the suits awesomeness, and then i still have the nanohive for those times when I am on a role, and no supply depots are around. It's just 100% practicle. Despite how awesome i do with this suit, the skills are still not maxed out for it, so once they are, I could be totally invincible with it. The gallente scout bonus decreases the suits scan profile, and increases the suits scan radius for finding other players, so, BAM! and you got perfect stealth. I think that this fitting is amazing, and I hope that you do to. Thank you for reading this, and please pick this fitting as the coolest. I would greatly enjoy making the 'templar' blueprints the crown jewel of my blueprint collection. ;) |

Commander Shepards Log #2548.4
Another day at the front lines in this seemingly endless war between immortal clones and i am still in the middle of it, due to a failure in our Tantalus Drive Core on the SSV Normandy.
Lets go back a couple of years, after the war with the Reapers, my crew and i had found some unknown gate that was never part of the Mass Effect gate system, so we experimented with it. Things went from bad to worse and form worse to really really bad, though the gate worked we crashed and got burried with our ship on some remote planet in an even remoter galaxy.
Then the Amarr found me and with my still intact Cerberus Implants, they revived me and used me to create their so called "Imortal Clone" armies.
This got out of hand, as it ussualy does and ive been trying to fix the problem one clone at a time ever since.
Luckely i still have some N7 tricks up my sleeves and until i make enough ISK to repair the SSV Normandy-SR2, ill be stuck in this Eve Galaxy. At least the Amarr let me do as i see fit, they owe me at least that much.
My N7 Spectre modified Amarr Assault suit features:
-High Mobility -Moderate Damage Capabilities -Operates Solo behind enemy lines
I call it the Shock Trooper: 1x Amarr Assault AK.0
1x Complex Damage Mod 2x complex Shield Extender
1x Basic Reactive Plate 1x Complex Ferro plate 1x Basic Armor Plate
1x Imperial SCR 1x Toxin SMG 1x Locus Genade
1x Allotek Nano Hive
Shields : 370 Armor : 390
This fit sets you back 155.000 Isk.
*Note: do not use this fit without extensive N7 training!
I guess, people must have been dieng to know my fit :), also why do i call it the Shock Trooper?
Sometimes during a game people instead of shooting at me when they see me they freeze or without shooting they turn around and try running away from me, we all know how that story ends :)
I know it doesnt fit in with the current meta of at least 2x damage mods + brick EHP, but it allowed me to go 60/1 in it, and on average 35+/3-6.
GL with the setup if you plan on running it, send me an ingame mail :)

My favorite suit to run around in is:
Basic Assault Suit Caldari : 2 Basic Shield Ext 1 Basic Armor Rep 1 Basic Armor Plate 1 Compact Nanohive 1 Basic Flux Nades CRW - 04 Scrambler Rifle KLO Scram pistol or M512 - A Submachine Gun
Love this suit cause its good for taking enemies from a distance with ease/ giving support fire with the CRW-04 and then cleaning up with the good ol scram pistol or submachine gun although I like running the pistol cause I think the pistol is a bit more fun to play with . When pushing for some cqc action I run in with the pistol/sub what ever I have as my sidearm..submachine gun is beast with clearing out some of those fireants/redberries. Why Flux Grenades? They can be thrown a bit farther than locus and I tend to run into many pesky infantry that love to hide in their triage hives or stand on a hive and spam the nades so I cut the support line and kill/help my squad clear them out and great for clearing small base set ups. They also help with dealing with heavies and proto suits it takes a nice chunk of health that I can take them on even if I die trying I leave them barely hanging on so they are easy kill for my squad/teammates.

My fav fitting at the moment is....
Minmatar advanced scout suit.
High slots x2 complex shield extenders.
Low slot Basic profile dampener. Advanced cardiac regulator.
Weapons
Light slot Basic shotgun.
Sidearm slot Toxin submachine gun.
Equipment slot Advanced scanner.
No grenades.
I love the cost effectiveness of this suit, I like the fact I can avoid all but the best scanner I am not a fan of people knowing exactly where I am. I like the fact that I can scan red berries and know exactly when they are about to turn a corner or enter a doorway. It's always fun greeting them with a shotgun pellet in the face. Most of the time I enjoy long walks to get to the rear flank of the enemies position that's when my cardiac regulator comes in handy. The smg is good enough to finish people if they survive the initial shotgun blast.
It's a bird!
No it's a plane!
Never mind it's just my shotgun in your face!

I humbly submit my favorite fit for your consideration:
SEXUAL TYRANNOSAURUS Amarr Heavy Frame ak.0 Boundless Heavy Machine Gun 'Toxin' ICD-9 Submachine Gun M1 Locus Grenade Complex Heavy Damage Modifier Complex Heavy Damage Modifier Complex Armor Plates Complex Armor Plates Complex Armor Repairer
Inspired by the greatest Heavy of all time: Jesse Ventura.
I like this fit for its 1497 total HP. I like this fit for its 907 DPS.
I like this fit because in a narrow corridor, the sound of bones crunching under a hailstorm of shrapnel unleashed at two-thousands rounds-per-second is music to my fat, fat, fattie ears.
I like this fit because I think God is a Heavy. I think he would agree that using a Boundless HMG in this fashion is equivalent to going Old Testament on someone's ass.
I like this fit because even though there's plenty of arguments about the HMG right now, it still succeeds if you do the following:
1) Approach target from flank 2) Place barrel of Boundless firmly against target's rectal sphincter 3) Pull trigger to dispense hellish lead enema 4) Rinse barrel, repeat from Step 1
I like this fit. And I think you should like it too.

My Favorite suit is my ISK Grinder. Come find out why in ambush.
1x Dren Scout
1x bpo Militia shield ext.
1x bpo militia armor 1x enh kin cat
1x Dren Shotgun 1x Dren scrambler pistol
1x stable drop uplink
Now you may be thinking its all BPO gear, not very good...Wrong! I am Assault w/ 17mil SP but it is also almost purely invested into FLF skills. Profile damp at 1, 0 in shottys, 0 in ScP.
Scouts are broken but not when used like this -
I probably throw up an 80% winning average lone wolfing in Ambush. I will run this suit, immediately flank enemy frontline with an uplink 100m behind them. I call it spider-webbing. Put first uplink about 100m+ away from their flank, then as I close the gap either finding a safe place to drop my next life line uplink, or bum rush them so they can't find my uplink. Then just keep link up until blueberries recognize the flank and annihilate the enemy. |

Frontline (Gallente Starter Fit)
Weapons: Assault Rifle/Mass Driver KLO-1 Scrambler Pistol M1 Locus Grenades Remote Explosives/Compact Nanohive
Highs: N/A
Lows: Militia Armor Plates (Starter BPO) Militia Armor Plates Militia Armor Plates
---
The suit and module choice:
This is my favourite fit at the moment for making ISK. Anyone can get it provided that they started Gallente. At standard level, the modules for high slots aren't that useful; shield extenders only add 22 health and damage mods only add 3% damage, less after stacking penalties. On the other hand, while high slot modules exponentially become more useful as you move up, meaning you need to upgrade, armor plates are cheap and effective. Gallente starter fits have 3 low slots for a lot of health, which is great, without sacrificing as much speed as the Amarr.
The stats:
By default, this set has 120 shields and 465 armor. With Dropsuit Shield Upgrades, Dropsuit Armor Upgrades and Armor Plating 5 you have 150 shields and 541 armor, for a total of 691 health, shockingly close to 700. This is higher than any other starter fit with all health mods, including the Amarr, which only hits 543 total health.
The weapons:
This set is made to be as effective at killing enemy prototypes with burst damage as possible.
The Assault Rifle is mostly used to pick off enemies beyond Scrambler Pistol range that aren't aware you're there, although if you have a health advantage it's possible to just power through a lot of enemies, especially ones that aren't protos. It's easy to swap it out for any other standard weapon, for any role you want. I use a normal Sniper Rifle for counter sniping and a normal Mass Driver as a finisher and for flanking groups of enemies.
The Scrambler Pistol is on this set because of both its normal DPS and headshot DPS. It's headshot DPS is the highest DPS in the game and its normal DPS is head and shoulders above SMGs and even assault rifles. The KLO-1 was chosen, despite it's higher price, due to the combined RoF and DMG boost increasing its DPS substantially; the Assault variant can be used to push it higher, but cuts into your earnings even more.
KLO-1 DPS to the body, proficiency 5: 84 * 1.15 * 444.44 / 60 = 715
For reference, a Duvolle with proficiency 5 and 2 Complex Damage Modifiers does 640; this requires no damage modifiers and is practically free. Even without proficiency, your damage is around equal. Now, because of the 375% damage to the head, you can deal 362 damage with every headshot (435 to shields).
KLO-1 DPS to the head, proficiency 5: 315 * 1.15 * 444.44 / 60 = 2683
Yes, that is correct! The Duvolle with Proficiency 5 and 2 Complex Damage Modifiers deals 960 DPS to the head and you deal almost 2700! Now, against shield tankers this is almost 3240 DPS! The Scrambler Pistol does more damage per second than every gun with any amount of modifiers in the game! If your aim is good, you'll be laying them down, all the way up to 20m. However, your effective range ends at about 50m, at which point your DPS is still around 800, so you can still shred enemies that are slow or that stop moving momentarily!
Now, the Scrambler Pistol's main problem is AMMO. This is why I cannot stress the importance of Operation 5 enough, as it brings your clip size up to 11. At this point, you have 924 damage in your clip, 1062 with proficiency. This is enough to kill most targets as long as you remain accurate, but fully tanked protos and heavies will withstand the barrage. Always go for headshots, unless the target is weak! Increasing your ammunition skill gives you 2 extra bullets a level and almost a full clip at level 5. Nanohives and Depots are your friend, as are Logibro healers.
Whatever Light weapon you take with you should be able to finish off a weakened target in CQC. Mass Drivers and Assault Rifles are very good at this.
The M1 Locus Grenades were chosen over the standard Locus Grenades due to the 25% damage buff and 10% range buff for a low price. They are well worth it and learning how to cook a grenade will save your life. If you know where the enemy is, cook a grenade for a couple of seconds and throw it at a wall so that it bounces towards them, then enjoy massive damage. Tanked protos can survive an M1, but a few pistol shots or mass driver rounds will finish them off.
The Remote Explosives were chosen for their sheer killing power. A standard Remote Explosive can OHKO most any suit in the game, except maybe the most ridiculously tanked Heavy. Place them around a corner and hit the trigger as the target moves into range. As a starter fit, many enemies will be extremely aggressive and chase you, so use this to your advantage. Shoot at them a few times with your pistol and take a few shots as you round the corner, set the explosives and detonate them as they come to kill you.
Alternatively, a Compact Nanohive can fully repair you and/or restore your ammo once. You can restock them at depots by swapping to a different starter fit and back, too.
The cost:
The whole fitting costs 7895 ISK, with a light weapon of your choice. If you don't need the DPS of the KLO-1, the Gallente starter fit comes with a militia Scrambler Pistol in the sidearm slot. Using this brings the suit cost down to 4995 ISK, which is under the 5k mark that some consider to be a valid cheap ass fitting.
TL:DR; The Gallente Starter Fit Special Deluxe Extreme can deal over 3000 DPS to people's heads, and instantly kill people with all sorts of explosives! It also has the highest total HP of any starter fit, at just below 700! All this for only seventy eight NINETY FIVE! Call today and get 2 for the price of 3! What a steal!
(I put too much effort into this. )

Having a hard time picking between the two (proto or adv forge) but I guess is my most beloved suit:
Adv Basic Heavy:
2x complex dmg mods 1x Armour rep 1x Plate (enh) 1x Ex-11 AV nades 1x KLO-1 Scrambler Pistol 1x Dau/2 Assault Forge Gun
This fit is cheap (66ish k isk) and cheerful. The Klo is my goto sidearm on most fits, spam it or aim for those head shots. It knocks suits over just as easily, great little sidearm with a little prof skills.
The main weapon dau/2 has been a weapon I've been using for a long time now. Forge guns have been my fav since closed beta barring that crappy range nerf they had for a while.
The amount of vehicles, tanks, ds, lavs, installations, supply depots and even CRUS I've taken out with it is just silly (not to mention blapping infantry with direct hits or splash).
There's not much to say other than this is my favourite fit when I play heavy and also my goto fit when I need to remove annoying vehicles or hunt tanks (okay sometimes ishukone when they are really tanky). I've had countless hours of fun with this fit, it works and that's all there is to it!

I like my advanced suit that use in most pubs better than any of my prototype.
Logistics C/1
'Dren' Assault Rifle (I actually play a support role so the only time i need to shoot is when the heavy i'm repping is getting pegged from outside of his/her range)
3x Complex Shield Extenders (I used to be able to use an enhanced energizer and recover quickly but now the best thing is just keep your hp as high as possible)
2x Basic Armor Plates (Sometimes one is enhanced depending on the equipment but it used to be one regulator and one plate but ever since straight tanking has been the best tactic, i've switched over to just a couple plates because i've already got 5 hp/s with logi)
Locus Grenades (some of my other fits have flux but i like to be able to chuck a locus in a room before my squad enters)
R-9 Drop Uplink (I could run the stable prototypes that are a level above but i find one extra uplink is not worth the price on a pub fit)
BDR Repair Tool (The thing i use the most, i love getting people back up to fighting condition more than i like headshots)
Nanite Injector (As long as i have the repair tool, i don't need more than a standard injector on this suit) ) Side Note: I have gotten so used to this fit, whenever i run another i have to relearn the positioning of the equipment |

Fave fit which I have been using for a while:
Advanced basic heavy suit
DAU-2/A Assault Forge Gun - I made myself use AFGs so I could get accurate without relying on waiting for a red to walk into my reticle like with the standard variant
M209 Assault SMG - Sacrifice some fitting requirements for the extra range and rate of fire compared to the standard variant. Not as expensive as the Ishikone and still does quite a bit of damage to infantry, especially when paired with...
2x Sidearm damage modifiers for that extra punch for my SMG should I miss with with the DAU-2/A in CQC
1x Enhanced armour plate 1x Basic armour plate
1x Militia Locus Grenade - mainly used for throwing past retreating reds that are trying to get out of my SMG range. Sometimes it kills, sometimes they come back to me
The only issue I have with this fit is if I am running solo and there is no supply depot - there never seem to be any rep logis around when you need them, yet when you don't need them everyone has their rep tool focused on the heavy :(

Sam Toucan wrote:I personally prefer blueprints more than anything. I would greatly enjoy making the 'templar' blueprints the crown jewel of my blueprint collection. ;) There's no way I'm gonna read that, EVER

The Birthday Suit.
I have lots of favourite fits:
Logi ck.0 - As a dedicated logibro - As a douche with Duvolle and DMG mods - Speed tank
Amarr ak.0 - Imperial beast with DMG mods - Imperial tank
Dren BPOs with scanner cost 13k
Coring suits with cores and hives
They are all called The Birthday Suit and just have a price tag next to it, I randomly choose which one it is depending on how rich I feel. Because lets face it it doesnt matter what you run it just feels like you are naked everytime you go out. Militia destroys protos, grenade spam destroys everything etc etc.
So hey Its the Birthday Suit random generator method. Try it!

I would greatly enjoy making the 'templar' blueprints the crown jewel of my blueprint collection. ;) There's no way I'm gonna read that, EVER Punctuate my friend, punctuate like there's no tomorrow I mean, edit your text; learn what a paragraph is. Alright, those were 83 fits to go through. I have blurred vision now and feel funny. I am not done yet, but it's 5:30am here. At least I got the points ready. It's not ordered by name or awarded points, but by who posted first. I'll fix that after I slept, make it look pretty:

Everyone of you got points. These are divided into two areas; what I thought about the fit and how you sold it. It was possible to earn 5 points in each of those two categories:
1=meh 2=standard 3=good 4=excellent 5=perfect
I also took the liberty to award one extra point for style. Either your fit or your post was inspirational, hilarious or just had something to it, you know? Up there you can see that nobody got more than 10 points. That basically means I didn't come across a "perfect" fitting. But that's the point, isn't it? Always in search for that little bit extra :)
There were two people getting 10 points and nine who got 9 points. After I can see straight again I will harshly judge who will get the top 3 prices. But what do I mean by "top 3 prices"? Aren't there only 3 prices in total? Now that's the interesting part: I must have somehow forgotten to mention that each and everyone of you will be rewarded
The three prices I announced in my Opening Post to this thread are only half the deal. On top of that everyone of you will get the points he made in DUST ISK x 1.000.000
487 points were awarded in total. |

Wow, I actually got one of the 10s! A lot of people with a lot of good fits have posted in this thread, and I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy inside right now.
Also, that is a ton of ISK to give out, wow. It would take me hundreds of hours of pure grinding, excluding PC, to earn enough to cover this event.

These are divided into two areas; what I thought about the fit and how you sold it. It was possible to earn 5 points in each of those two categories: 1=meh 2=standard 3=good 4=excellent 5=perfect I also took the liberty to award one extra point for style. Either your fit or your post was inspirational, hilarious or just had something to it, you know? Up there you can see that nobody got more than 10 points. That basically means I didn't come across a "perfect" fitting. But that's the point, isn't it? Always in search for that little bit extra :) There were two people getting 10 points and nine who got 9 points. After I can see straight again I will harshly judge who will get the top 3 prices. But what do I mean by "top 3 prices"? Aren't there only 3 prices in total? Now that's the interesting part: I must have somehow forgotten to mention that each and everyone of you will be rewarded The three prices I announced in my Opening Post to this thread are only half the deal. On top of that everyone of you will get the points he made in DUST ISK x 1.000.000 487 points were awarded in total. Thanks again for a really awesome event, this really helps people get involved not only in their own character, but with sharing things like that on the forum. The prizes were awesome, I for one will be holding that 8 million until 1.7 and then buying as many fully fit Incubi with it as I can, once I figure out how I want to fit the new one (blasters, whoa..).
Congrats to everyone, especially you lucky top 3

That's some showmanship, sir. I'm honored to be rated a 7. Though I'm curious how my score broke down between the two categories.

Exactly, I just want to know what he would perceive as the "perfect" fit. And hello there fellow 10 pointer I read your fit, and It makes me jealous that I don't have gallente starter fits. But I might try to replicate that fit using the militia gallente gear in the market. It actually sounds pretty good. Normally I use a Laser rifle fit if im trying to make money. It costs 15k and is unbeatable at range. (because...... its a LR......).

I used to use the Laser Rifle a lot, too. I did well until 1.6, when the influx of Scramblers and the better hit detection made it hard to work with. I now use the TAR more, since it's more flexible. 65m range versus 65-85m range. Drop off is slow enough that I get kills out to 80m, without having to worry about the two wall drop offs on both ends of the Laser's optimal span. Amarr Sentinel with armor repairers a damage modifier and a TAR or ScrRifle and ScrPistol is a nice, durable fit with lots of recovery.

ill admit, the LR is DEFINITILY a circumstantial weapon. But that's why I got a normal assault fit too. One suit is meant for brawling close range, the other is meant for beaming long range, and use of either fit entirely depends on what map I happen to be playing on. As for corp battles, the suit I originally listed is what I almost exclusively use. Last night I was playing against Paradox one and went 28 - 7, and a few days ago we played against outer haven and I went 21 - 3. That is FANTASTIC for a corporation match, and im very pleased with how this suit performs right now. Of course, improvements can always be made, but im currently saving SP for other persuits that will hopefully lead to me unlocking a Fifth proto suit, and ultimately make me A LOT more flexible on the battlefield (think Super hacking speed right now).

No one goes that deeply into this crap unless ur someone with low self esteem thats trying to impress people. Last time I checked, no one likes a smart ass. |

This whole thing didnt really take a whole lot of brain power anyway. I told myself from the start that the winning fit was going to be a proto logi. Its only the most typical fitting out there. |

I mean, edit your text; learn what a paragraph is."
"What the heck man? I went all out. And what do you mean by punctuate like there's no tomorrow? If you actually read it instead of looking at it once and being lazy, you'd see that I punctuate better than you probably do."
What he meant by GÇ£punctuate like there is no tomorrow," is dramatic punctuation. That is, you have to tell a story; produce a narrative. Think of engaging your audience rather then hitting them with a wall of text.
Keep in mind that human beings intuitively search for the most efficient manner to all things they do. Hell, we are anatomically build for biomechanical efficiency. Cognitively we are no different, just look at the continuous and abject use of stereotypes.
IT was a piece of constructive criticism, relax and take it for what it is. It is a comment on your style and how you formatted it. Nothing more. Next time the results, hopefully from the input will be something that is able to better connect to your audience.
That is of course your goal.

DID I? OR are you trying to make up for some kind of lack (within yourself) with your attacks on constructive suggestions?
Did I use foul and abusive language? Did I needless attack you?
Answers to both is no. |

That is obvious via the manner to which you respond to any kind of critique.
Obviously there seems to be some social issues here. Take another zanex. |

My opinions are fact in my world. They may not be in your world, but that really doesnGÇÖt mean too much to me. What I donGÇÖt particularly care for is unnecessarily abusive response to suggestions, which any suggestion is an opinion / perception of a situation.
