I haven't laugh so hard since. and it was a fellow sniper too. I was going around trekking, trying to find a nice little perch, when i spot a wild redberry - my initial instinct was to kill him on sight, but i didn't. I snuck up behind him because he didn't bother to gather his surroundings. I grabbed my mic and turned it on and said with a serious Morgan Freeman-esque voice "I can smell you" and shot him in the butt. As a sniper, i am ashamed beyond belief...as a gamer, i am laughing my friggin butt off..and apparently his too. The merc with a mouth - beware of random bouts of insanity! i should make an Everything Nixon Corp

Then I pot shot them. Just once. Maybe twice to scare them. That moment is ruined for them, they'll panic briefly. Some crouch, some jump. Either way, I track them for a while as they run, fleeing for their life as that sweet moment has turned into animal panic to escape. So I let their shields recharge a bit and just as they think they made it; boom, head shot. :( My enjoyment is complex and deranged.

The player was off hacking my objective and he'd hidden his LAV in a little dead end hallway. He hacked the objective, ran back to his LAV and exploded. I hacked the objective back. That's recent, though. We used to do all sorts of mean things back before I had to pack up my PS3 to move.

And then again I did this in a different game with a plasma cannon. Those were awesome, two best shots I ever took. I suppose they were 'nasty' too in how unexpected, unlikely, and deflating they were to the guys that they landed on.

I go deep into enemy territory and camp a useless point on the map, and camp a cru without hacking it just to **** off players enough that they start hunting me instead of attacking the point, which most of the time is exactly what i'm doing. I will hunt your tank down into the smallest darkest corner of the red line just to cost you a million isk. welcome to dust I make my own entertainment.

Then a red tank falls right at my feet. I quickly hack it, but then i have to recall my vehicle. So the owner spawns back and starts hacking it back. I jump in and drive off. he starts running behind me, so I shoot him with his own tank. We were near my red zone, and his tank sucked, so I parked it just far enough into the red zone that he couldn't get to it. this time he returns with another tank, just as crappy as the first. I leave the tank parked and run to the supply depot to switch to a forge gun. So he can see his tank sitting there and he blows it up. I could see him pause at the end like he didn't want to do it. Just as he finished I was fully charged and I one hit killed him and his tank. I ended up killing that guy 5 or 6 times that match. the last time I found him standing on a drop uplink afk. he probably just gave up and thought he was safe. BONG! +60

This one sniper killed my paperthin Minnie scout, so I proceeded to hunt him as I usually hunt any sniper that kills me. He was in a minmatar Logi with a Kalaakiota (I think), and he was pretty well hidden. The only thing he did wrong was place an uplink. I was in a heavy counter sniping fit, and I lined up my shot, and I heard the headshot thing. I continue my business as normal as a heavy sniper, and out of curiostity, look back to where I had killed him. This derp was sitting in the exact same place as before, except this time he had an Amarr Logi pal. This time I don't bother for the headshot, I just kill him. His Logi buddie picks him up, and I put him back down. By now, his buddy is having an attack as he is desperately trying to avoid my shots, but I put him down mere seconds after the sniper. But it only gets better. This guy clearly lacks common sense, as he spawns for the third time in the same place. By this point, I am just having fun with this guy. I go behind the nearest hill and call in a Maddy. I roll over a few hills and park my tank right in front of him. He does not respond. I shoot the air around him, and guess what he does next, He throws a locus grenade at my tank. The match ends before it went off. (True story) The biggest threat to my scout is everything. My scout is the biggest threat to everything.

A heavy made his way onto my radar and I watched him lumber up the pyramid, mess around on the roof, fall into one of the catwalks, lumber his way down to the objective.... And I toasted him before he even started his hack. All that effort and he didn't even get to start... he must have realized afterwards that I had been there the whole 5 minutes watching and waiting for him to meet his inevitable end.

There are a few things I've learnt I have to do to shotgun effectively. You must be aware of your surroundings, be selective of who you attack and when you attack them and be patient. Never run head on at an enemy. Always try to flank them or predict their movements and ambush them. Also, active scanners are your best friend. They show you exactly where someone is and in which direction they're facing so it's a lot easier to flank/ambush them. 'Insert witty signature here'

I hacked the dropship and started flying around (I'm no Savant but I'm good enough and a veteran tanker which helps). then an enemy dropship popped up on the radar. to my shock and surprise it was the same redberry! I had no gunners but it wasn't my dropship either. I assumed correctly that he had no idea how active mods worked. I activated the shield booster and slammed strait into his side destroying both dropships. some how he bailed in time and I had enough time because of the booster. I shot him dead again. I called in my tank and proceeded to go 20+/0 I still feel guilty, he didn't even have gunners and I didn't get wp for destroying the dropships. it was simply bagging on some harmless newberry trying to learn to fly. if you read this newberry I'm sorry. if you quit the game after this I'm even more sorry. Some reds got from the outer building roof onto the little bridge-like supports to the center tower. There are little barriers at the edge so some redberries were crouching half on them. This gave me a beautiful shot at their crotches from directly below. Needless to say, an EXO-5 round with 2 enhanced damage mods to the crotch can OHK. Who knew.... Not new, just new to you.

I remember there is that RE by the X on the map, I whip out my boomer......BOOM. +50 Kill on my screen 6 times + 2 +5 kills for destroying equipment (I assume nanohives) #2. I was set up in a sniper perch on one of the rare occasions I lie to myself and tell myself I can do some sniping lol and I found another sniper in his perch and BOOM! Headshot. He respawned. HEADSHOT, he respawned...I had been killed so I respawned. Long story short...despite him jumping around, running around and trying to avoid it....7 headshots. Killed him 7 times in a row lol (jumping doesn't help with a sniper...easy to predict where you will land) #3. Placed a ton of proximity mines....two lav's a coming...1 from the south, 1 from the north...they run into each other over the proximity explosives and they bounce up in the air, fall down on top of them and BOOM! Two LAV's in fiery glory....both were full, +50 Kill 6 times plus 2 LAV kills. That's all I got lol I blow ** up :) its what I do

So i was walking by with my militia cos i was saving some isk and my sniper squad mate said "we got a soma roaming through south to north" and i caught a grim on my face, i jumped down filled with greed and heard the tank nearby, i shot him once with one round of swarms and hid behind a wall and i checked again and the tank was still there, the driver jumped out to kill me with his STD caldari dropsuit with his AR while was shooting him with my scrambler pistol and my vision started to blurr as i shouted "SNIPE HIM SNIPE HIM" to my sniper squad mate and suddenly... the guy fell before me, i stood tall staring at him with rage and revenge, but all i knew was a random militia sniper saved my life and i was glad i survived, i still wanted to end him so i tried to steal his tank, but however my squad leader dropped an orbital on it directly because he thought i needed help taking it down. *Assassination is my thing.*

I used my bpo taxi err I mean LAV in a skirmish map, drove to the far side and saw someone bringing in a gunship, before they could get in it I had two FG rounds through it, as he began to lift off I blew it up. Same guy summons another one a little later into the match, I see it from several hundred meters out and I accelerate to full speed, and bail out of my LAV at the last second which take out the ships shields and some armor, as he begins to take off I'm under it, fire one shot into the bottom of it and it explodes. Good times.

Then I waited, why because people have favorite places, low and behold he started running up to the same spot and I waited for him to almost get into cover and sniped his head again. Then I figured he would be smart and come back on the other side so I ran over to the other side and started looking for him. Yep there he was again running up the hill on the left so I waited for him to get to the top and shot him in the head. I then moved for a better shot at the red line spawn zone and what do you think I saw? My favorite target settling down and killing my buds again so I shot him, no head shot he ran and I killed him from behind. That cost that dirty sniper over 500K for that 1 game and 4 thales, did I feel bad? Nope, I try and kill all who are red, especially snipers since I use to play that often. Best 2nd was for some reason the targeting was spot on for one game (usually it is off for snipers) and I set up on a MCC with my Ish and was sniping them as they were falling out of the MCC in the air. Now that was fun!

Suddenly a Thales sniper shows up and starts dropping people left and right. Then another fncking person with a Thales starts doing it. Gotta be 10 kills each in just a few minutes, actually starting to turn the tide of the battle. Nobody has any clue where they are. Finally I look up and realize those d!cks are in the MCC (this was 1.3-1.4 ish) before everyone realized you could snipe from inside there. They are about 5m apart, firing away, I get dropped for the 3rd time from one of them. I realize that shooting one will give it away and the other will either get me or bail out. This is the one and only time I've ever actually made a major change to a fitting while in a battle. They were using std level suits so I switch out my usual charge sniper for a kalaakiota and add an extra damage mod for good measure. It's not like the shield extender was helping me survive the Thales anyway. I find a good spot where both of them are as close together as possible from that angle. Line up the first shot real careful, bang, headshot. Quickly wheel over to the other guy before he can react and put the remaining 2 rounds from the clip into him and drop him to. Not that it mattered but the second one was a headshot too. Headshotting a stationary sniper is super easy, getting 2 that quickly amps up the level of difficulty slightly, but the skill of the shot was not the satisfying part. It wasn't even the fact that I took out 2 Thales... No, the most satisfying part was watching their bodies rag doll, one after the other, all the way to the ground from the MCC and bounce when they hit. Oh man that felt sooo good. Templar'd for her pleasure Amarr victor!

Another fun event was when I was running solo ambushes and I stumbled across a red just standing there. I killed him fast enough but then I noticed the tank he called in getting dropped off. He was terrain-glitching pretty well, so I had to settle for body shot instead of head. (took TWO shots supposedly on target, only 200-300m away. zero damage) He made a run for it. double-fool, he jumped off mostly the same side of the tower he started on. so I took a shot at him on the way down. Hit him ! .. but did NOT kill him... except that I maybe disrupted his inertia dampener thingie? .... ... . . * I only got a kill "assist" on that one. (The ground) got the kill. But I somehow got to share the credit. lol? (Too bad I didnt see how the killfeed reported it )
