This is so much fun seeing what you guys have done I don't feel as bad now. I guess every now and then when people get the chance they do funny things. I'll share the first kill i ever was excited about. 1 minute left in the game. Redberry doing donuts I wait and time his head.. 1 2 3 4th donut shoot omg head shot he's dead! 1 minute left... STEAL HIS CAR! I decided to drive off into the sunset. Good ole days.

I'm on line harvest, and we are winning pretty handily. Suddenly a Thales sniper shows up and starts dropping people left and right. Then another fncking person with a Thales starts doing it. Gotta be 10 kills each in just a few minutes, actually starting to turn the tide of the battle. Nobody has any clue where they are. Finally I look up and realize those d!cks are in the MCC (this was 1.3-1.4 ish) before everyone realized you could snipe from inside there. They are about 5m apart, firing away, I get dropped for the 3rd time from one of them.
I realize that shooting one will give it away and the other will either get me or bail out. This is the one and only time I've ever actually made a major change to a fitting while in a battle. They were using std level suits so I switch out my usual charge sniper for a kalaakiota and add an extra damage mod for good measure. It's not like the shield extender was helping me survive the Thales anyway.
I find a good spot where both of them are as close together as possible from that angle. Line up the first shot real careful, bang, headshot. Quickly wheel over to the other guy before he can react and put the remaining 2 rounds from the clip into him and drop him to. Not that it mattered but the second one was a headshot too. Headshotting a stationary sniper is super easy, getting 2 that quickly amps up the level of difficulty slightly, but the skill of the shot was not the satisfying part. It wasn't even the fact that I took out 2 Thales...
No, the most satisfying part was watching their bodies rag doll, one after the other, all the way to the ground from the MCC and bounce when they hit. Oh man that felt sooo good.

I have some fond memories of dropping an RE right under a sniper's taint, shooting them once and popping once they turned around. I wish they could have seen my smile. They'd have nightmares.
If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.

This was a team effort, but back when Subdreddit was running Amarr FW with J4LP, one of our guys couldn't fit into the match on our side so he jumped onto the minnie side for some fun and games.
He had a dropship with a CRU and we all just took turns shooting people our of it as fast as they could spawn in.
Another fun event was when I was running solo ambushes and I stumbled across a red just standing there. I killed him fast enough but then I noticed the tank he called in getting dropped off. I fended off what I assumed were his buddies, hacked his tank and then proceeded to actually run him over with it.
Oh, and I punched someone until they killed themselves by overheating their laser rifle. That felt good. |

I just had a quasi-similar experience.
Found some fool who was sniping in a "hidden" position halfway up a tower. Fool, because he still opted for armor over dampening. So my scanner found him. I never would have found him visually.
He was terrain-glitching pretty well, so I had to settle for body shot instead of head. (took TWO shots supposedly on target, only 200-300m away. zero damage)
He made a run for it. double-fool, he jumped off mostly the same side of the tower he started on. so I took a shot at him on the way down.
Hit him !  .. but did NOT kill him... except that I maybe disrupted his inertia dampener thingie?

Something I've always wanted to do was call in a free lav and set an RE under it. When some hapless red to come hack it you set it off. |
