Weapons like the Scrambler Rifle and Sniper Rifle are not pray and spray weapons. They take take skill to get in and out and can't flank 5 opponents without overheating. Of course nerf the Assault version. The Sniper Rifle... well lol

I personally am not against taking away the 10% damage buff given to all weapons at the beginning of uprising. |

I'm not one to yell nerf this and nerf that, though I think the initial 10% damage CCP added to all weapons could be removed to add another split second or 2 of survivability. Let's be honest there's nothing wrong with it if you use the environment to your advantage. Crap I think I just contradicted myself. |

750 Rounds per minute
12.5 rounds per seconds
750/second at 35 damage per, would be over 26,000 damage per second. You could kill a nice tank in less than a second.
That would be fun for about a minute. |

Nerf the AR, and DUST 514 simply dies... Nerfing AR's has consistently improved this game, every time they get hit with the nerf bat more people flock to other weapons prompting a little bit more variance.

Damage on the full auto weapons is not needed. The removal of the Sharpshooter skill on SMGs and ARs is though. increase hip-fire dispersion and the gun won't seen as EZ mode

Then add more kick, as in kick per shot, not halfway way through the mag! Then you could take 10% of ALL weapons!

We (the entire CPM is aware to various degrees) have brought up the overall Time to Kill is a bit too short for the nature of the game wants to suggest. I'd admittedly did state we're not as bad as planetside 2 (lol 50% damage reduction = really?), then again I am the sort of person that transitions out of continued damage often.
However and to be fair and discredit my experiences get two idiots in the open and have them open fire on each other and they go down far too quick for a game that supposed to emphasize shields and armor as possible fittings.
As a person going around killing I can no longer tell who has shield extenders or armor plates anymore.
Overall I do not want to take the route of nerfing hit detection but instead take it out on the stats instead which is far better option as the game is reflecting closer and closer to the test environments.
CCP Wolfman is in testing and monitoring ideally a lower TTK should have shifted the amounts people are dying to a degree as well. Plans for correction are in place but no finger on the trigger finger yet. This is after all one of those knee jerk reactions.

This game nerfing every Month! AR nerfing many times! If AR nerfing again many peoples go to play other games, im to. I now many very skills players who come to dust514 from other games, becouse this game from start 10.01.2013 to 05.2013 have a very more fun and hardcore! But now is laging tetris! |

Well we could delete the AR.
Either way its time to change the staple, the quality of paper has changed and it demands something better to deflect off of and balance everything around with.

Indeed no one wants HD nerfed, the thing is at least from my perspective the TTK was too long in 1.3 and slightly too fast in 1.4. We want it to be Relatively short! We want a sense of fragility, but not quite paper in the wind, like we have now!

The Sniper rifle needs an increase in power. CCP needs to stop kowtowing to the red-line whiners and make the weapon competitive. It is completely useless in Planetary Conquest.
With only 229.5 base damage on the Ishukone and 199.5 on the Kaalakiota It is impossible to get enough hits on someone to kill them. While the Charge Sniper Rifle needs to be a one hit kill with a headshot or else it has no place on the battle field.

This game will DIE if you don't do something about that damage. They should just stop releasing new weapons. Take all other weapons out of the game. You only need the AR and SCR (single shot) to compete in the game, anything else falls way short of being able to match up.
And the first person that gives me that "AR's should dominate" troll response, I'll make your life in game a living hell.

But now they are looking for other alternative projects. And yes, soon PS4. One nerf AR or Caldari suit, and all, they go away. And not come back. |

I was love Chromosome, but i hate Uprising!
People leave all the time, plenty people have claimed to left and haven't, we have seen people claim to leave in droves and our player numbers go up. If those people who leave because the AR got a nerf, then you know what??
