i mean come on. get over yourselves. so what if the logi beats the assault in almost every aspect? they are both VERY viable suits. the logi is COMPLTELY fine in my opinion. idgaf if it can tank 1000+ hp. i've been dealing with that for months.
now would you people please get your heads out of your asses and realize that there are actually other things that NEED tweaking. for example, the Minmatar Scout. without core skills, it gets a measly 230 cpu. What the hell can 230 cpu do? us scouts have been trying to push these kind of matters for a long time, but apparently to some people, a 6m passive scan increase is good enough.
now i know this isn't everyone, but i am so sick of seeing these "nerf logi" or "limit damage mod" threads when some of us actually NEED some love.
we're not asking to become slayers or be able to jump into a crowd and kill everyone. we just want to be on the same playing field. but some people can't get past themselves so that they can see the real issues here.
i fail to see how ccp thinks that adding more assault rifles and reducing the TTK every patch while at the same time leaving anyone who isn't a "logi or assault" to the wolves. i can deal with this short time to kill and all. its annoying and bullshit, but i can deal with it. it's getting rather difficult to deal with the fact that patch after patch, anyone who isn't in a medium frame or uses an AR gets the short end of the stick.
i'm happy for new weapons and suits and all, but in reality i'm probably not going to use the combat and rail rifle too often.
to those of you who don't want this game to turn into CoD 514 then thank you.
to chose who kept bitching and moaning about everything that wasn't an AR, then i ******* hate you. you are the reason that this game is not where it should be. if you want CoD then go play CoD. i came to DUST because i thought it would be different than CoD. i expected, and still are expecting this game to change the face of gaming for the better, and i know im not the only one.

I agree, IMO logis and assaults are fairly balanced, people just need to work on tactics and teamwork.
1 BASIC RE can kill any protobear (with the exception of an all out maxed out dual tanked heavy)

Make my assault a better assault then my logi suit and I'll happily stop bitching. Until then I'll have to keep on using my logi instead of my assault since my logi does everything my assault can plus has 3 equipment spots and more tank. |

Logi shouldn't have more highs/lows and equipment than assaults it should be one or the other...idk commandos just suck I can't think of a fix for them...if your going to have proto av their should be proto vehicles cuz of balance issues no proto vehicles take out proto av...there should be no redline cuz snipers abuse it to not die and make bank...nades should be supplied like equipment you use them then have to die or use a supply depot and change suits

Here's is what's going on, assault suits are designed to be the best suit when you are using assault tactics (I'm not just talking about using cover but using hit and run tactics, guerrilla tactics etc.)
logis are good because they can dual tank and you can stand in the open and slay thousands of mercs without dying. They can carry many pieces of equipment meaning you can farm WP all day and get orbitals all by yourself without firing a single shot, or you can carry loads of nanohives so you won't run out of ammo (but let's face it, if you go through 2 nanohives in 2 minutes and only kill 5 mercs, your wasting ammo).
People like to just stand there and shoot each other until one of them pops. Logi suits allow people to do this slightly longer than assault suits do wich is why more people chose logi over assault. If you can get the assault tactics down, you can dominate a logi at least 8/10 times.

Im not saying nerf logi give assaults a second equipment slot again or give them more highs/lows than logis..or make the highs/lows the same as logis but all logis cry about that...
