So here we are, days away from the squad cup and you rustians must excuse my pressumtion, but I find it highly likely that our first battle will be against a very strong team, the Power Rangers. And its a game we're very much looking foreward to, we play each other all the time in EU ambush, and many of us have been in the same clan(s) before and know each othe pretty well by now. Besides, we all love Zaria...

A common oppinion for most of us, indeed just about every player in Dust I respect, we are all really sick and tired of the constant nade spam that gradually has become the norm in Dust. I have indeed thrown my share of nades, we still use it against each other all the time, but I bet many of us find the deaths cheap, and the kills less rewarding. Nades are OP and thats that.

Then it occures to me, we have two teams with seasoned players that more or less know each other well. Lets do something here and show the rest of the community how a de-nade-spammed Dust looks like. I can record and I bet more people can too. And honestly, it would be a blast to play against such great players in an actual tourney, with a removed mechanic resulting in a drastically changed combat environment.

- I hereby challenge team Power Rangers to do this battle against us totally nade free. Well AV nades are ok. Lets play Dust with gungame and tactics, not the usual explosive spam, just this once...

As someone who doesn't use locus nades (besides the very occasional pub), I'd say yes. But I'm sorry, the tediousness of clearing equipment without my fluxes? Meh. Can't speak for anyone else, but we'll take it under advisement.

Nice, I knew I could rely on you good ol' 13ear. For clarification: is that a yes to no nades at all as intendet? Or is it a flux only?

This will be so much fun. I really hope we can put up a team on friday, I'll try, no guarantee though.
