And its a game we're very much looking foreward to, we play each other all the time in EU ambush, and many of us have been in the same clan(s) before and know each othe pretty well by now. Besides, we all love Zaria...
A common oppinion for most of us, indeed just about every player in Dust I respect, we are all really sick and tired of the constant nade spam that gradually has become the norm in Dust. I have indeed thrown my share of nades, we still use it against each other all the time, but I bet many of us find the deaths cheap, and the kills less rewarding. Nades are OP and thats that.
Then it occures to me, we have two teams with seasoned players that more or less know each other well. Lets do something here and show the rest of the community how a de-nade-spammed Dust looks like. I can record and I bet more people can too. And honestly, it would be a blast to play against such great players in an actual tourney, with a removed mechanic resulting in a drastically changed combat environment.
- I hereby challenge team Power Rangers to do this battle against us totally nade free. Well AV nades are ok. Lets play Dust with gungame and tactics, not the usual explosive spam, just this once...
I wonder what someone is going to do with a Av grenade when we cant use vehicles in the cup :p (Decoy Grenades :p)
Personally i tend to use grenades only when i absolutely need to and find the current way of spam nading each other to death a cheap tactic and cheap tactics are excluded from my Honor playbook automaticly.
Its also not helping that on KBM grenades are button X and D use the same finger for strafing or cooking.
But i guess Flux's could still be used as tactical grenades instead of Lolcusts Deathmasters.
Idd be all for it, but i am not the team captain so it isnt my desicion to make.

Being even later to this party, man that game was such a blast, really GG everyone and without those grenades made it "The" best game ive ever played in dust.
When the game started, i was literally shaking from the pressure adrenaline combo and that is something i normally only feel in games where if you die, you loose everything.
Really awesome everyone! |

Fluxes are not allowed, MD is allowed but having entire teams spamming it will be frowned upon... Um, having the entire team using mass drivers would actually put that team at a huge disadvantage, so I think it would be unlikely anyway... So you've never played against GAC or UPS? Losing doesn't deter bad players from using easy weapons. lol u mad? hahahaaa
When its 16 vs 16 and the entire opposing team is spamming Mass Drivers, grenades and some *ss Logi put the field full of equipment, my Ps3 almost has a heart attack and freaks out, drops his FPS and leaves me hanging with 1 cm per second aiming movements in CQC, if i am then using a Imperial SCR hit detection goes out the window, then my gun slows down to 1 shot every 2 seconds. then i die from 3-4 shots somewhere in my vicinty.
With this 6 vs 6 i had none of the issues above, the results were quite clear and it was a pretty fun light match with not much pressure at all.
Winner of EU Squad Cup
