I'll be staying a scout. Have to wonder what the racial bonuses for the Caldari and Amarr scout suits would be. I also have no idea what the pilot suit is, unless it's to make vehicles more beneficial to that suit then I'll just be sticking to a scout lol. |

I know the scouts have it bad but if we get a respec and the Amarr scout is released i will be cross train into it after i put my skills into my Amarr Assault. Always wanted to do scout role but i just can't bring myself to it since there is no Amarr scout.

Same I am going to cross train pilots and scout, and then campaign heavily for the commando to become a light frame like it always should have been.

Four highs on a scout would be insanity. Their shields already have amazing regen, giving them more shields to work with would make them horribly imbalanced.
Not really, shields drop too fast, one more complex shield is less than a scr shot an 2 ar bullets, if anything scouts would use it as a damage slot, md an nades are ohk to us , an if we're fast we can barely fit much on our suits, only people with 0 situational awareness die from scouts, an that means no percision or range skills cuz ya dumped it into weapons or you got caught alone.
So I have no clue how you could find a extra shield op.
Use a proto scanner an flux, PROBLEM SOLVED |

I was SMG Scout (Used the A series religiously, and my Arbiter RIP) through all of Chromosome. I then went Proto Mini Scout with Uprising 1.0. It was so different, I had a very difficult time adjusting. When the second respec came I jumped ship to Caldari Assault in frustration.
But that was actually a huge turnoff. I had a need for speed and the Cal suit just did not suit it. I'm now working my way through Gal Scout and I love it. I run an advanced suit and even though it's kind of garbage in some ways it's just so fun and satisfying when I get a kill. I'll never leave my scout again.
That being said. They definitely need some love. There's a reason why only the die hard fans are scouts and that just sucks. We don't need FOTM status but giving someone a reason to learn a new role is a good thing.
PWEASE CCPeeeeeee, PWEASE give us another slot and some more speed!

Read my post. It was a major mistake and I regretted it so much that I stopped playing for awhile. The Advanced Gallente Scout is a million times more exciting to play than my Caldari Assault suit. |

I might switch from gallente to caldari, depending on the race bonus.
Now that I'm running scanner more, the range bonus in gallente is less appealing to me than it used to be.
if the cal ADV suit had 2/2, i might well switch.
But I want "shield hardeners" on dropsuit, , to continue playing AR-514 !

id expect a sp refund... not a respec. mainly because all of the vehicle guys are having skills redone and modules and vehicles removed completely. beyond that though, i wouldnt hold my breath for a respec |

I would definitely stay scout. I kinda get a rush from the kills I get because they are rightly earned. I use my scanner then sneak up behind and SURPRISE BUTSEKS them in the head with the shotgun. |

Assuming that there were no changes I would spec into an assault frame.
Two reasons. Knives/shotguns and their terrible hit detection. Two, scouts have no real role that defines their class. |

You guys are inspiring me, that's for sure. I've never asked for any major scout buffs.... 5-10m of scan range, .2 to walk/sprint speed... a tad more PG/CPU....
But man, I'm pretty sure that if there was a respec offered I'd be done with this. Scouts don't have any major role at the moment.... everything can be done better by a medium frame. Especially with scanners or using the logi suit for scan/remote/hacking fun....
Sure, not as challenging.... but, I got to be honest. I'm just tired of may "A" game getting countered by someone else's "C" game because they've got range, aim assist, more EPH.... whatever (usually all of the above).
Maybe I'd make one of my lesser played alt's a scout just to stay in the fold somewhat. |

That is a terrible way to determine how many slots a scout suit should have. This just exacerbates the problem of us being watered down assaults.
A Caldari suit with more lows than highs? That's bonkers. The Caldari scout shoud have either 4H/1L, 3H/2L, or 4H/2L (in increasing order of my preference). |

Currently, I run Scout about 80% of the time
19% I'm running in one of my 6 BPO suits of which only 1 is a scout
1% I'm using a Logistics ck.0 for sniping in PC
With a respec, I'd stop being skilled into every light weapon and stick with only proto swarms, proto shotty, proto sniper, proto scrambler rifle. I think I'd keep proto flaylock, proto scrambler pistol, and proto SMG though.
That excess SP would go into Gallente Logistics
in THE FUTURE, I'm putting my SP into that anyway so my division would probably be
51% Scout
19% BPO suits
30% Logistics
lol just sayin' I'll have 3 prototype suits by 1.7 |
