With the recent change to scout's scan range, I'm glad I'm sticking to the scout. But 1.7 has me pumped up. Hoping to get a cloaky at that time.

I mean, I don't expect them to be defenseless, but I envision scouts being very fast, having superior sensor capabilities, lightly armed, lightly tanked, and some unique equipment access (a la active cloaking or EWAR). The idea of a light dropsuit murdering dozens of assaults and sentinels per match is asinine. |

Hmm, this is going to be tempting. I was planning to go scout with the 1.7 respec, but now that Commandos, my second love, are getting bumped from 250/250 shield/armor to 325/325, it's going to be a tough choice.

Personally my eyes are curious to see what the Caldari Scout and Amar Scout have to offer, though they may not be THAT fast they will be balanced (one can hope), but if not I may stay Minmatar. |

Unless I am something that is to be sweep under the rug, I also will be playing scout, and that is not going to change, so I should have at least made the pending list, scouts seem more viable in 1.7 than they did in 1.6, CCP has removed margin of error, installations scanning, and toned down AA, so the trend is at least starting to reverse itself, in truth its not really all to bad.
