Dude, different people have different requirements. As a sniper you often need a head shot if you want to bring someone down relatively quickly.
Doing that can make the difference between helping your team defend/take an objective or not.
You must be trolling because that is a lame ass excuse for whining about the headshot thing. |

By that logic, being put down but still bleeding out shouldnt count as a kill till i have completely bled out and cant be revived, you can still get your points, but it shouldnt count against my K/D ratio. |

If you get extra point for getting a headshot And if you should get extra points for taking a enemy clone out of action Then you should get extra points for bleeding out a clone, taking him out of action

Logis already get far more WPs than frontline roles, with the scanner points they'll be getting even more. If there wasn't a buff to WPs for kills, heavies in particular (who can't even use a scanner) but also assaults would be getting further and further behind. I think it should be 60 WP for a kill, but if we can't have that then 60 for a headshot is better than nothing. |

I only rarely use the militia heavy with militia forge gun, so I don't have a clear understanding of how little WP the heavies get. I can understand that you feel you're not getting enough WP because of how slow you are in moving around and hacking.

Yeah, I think it's hard to know how many of your points you're getting from kills/assists/hacks and how many from equipment if you're an assault (or slayer-style logi). Heavies know it's nothing from equipment, support-style logis know it's virtually everything, you guys are somewhere in between.
I'm not complaining about heavies having no equipment or being slow, those are basic features of the suit that have always been there. I'm just saying that when support roles get WP boosts, like the 15 WP for scanner kill assists that's coming in, it's only fair that combat roles like heavy also get a bit of a WP boost. |

I totally disagree that headshots should be rewarded in any special way. You aready get to kill faster what more do you need.
I actually think that there should be no points for killing all wp should be based upon either 1) damage dealt (damage*.1=wp being the preferred formula here giving out once a clone is destroyed but only for damaged delt in the 10 sec. leading up to the clones death) or 2) isk destroyed (% of damage dealt in 10 seconds leading up to clone death * loadout's isk value * .001).
Either of these wp schemes would reward headshots, assists, and coordinated fire far more than the stupid system we have now. After all who cares who kills the clone the point is that it is dead. Rewards should be given based upon how much of that killing you did, not who scored the final blow. |

I would argue that actually killing a clone reduces the amount of guns on the field temporarily. I'd rather have one guy shooting at me than two. I think the "kill points" should stay. |
