I would like to help you, but its against my mandate to help Minmatar who I know are going to **** me over in the future

Couple of answers for you, both of which were partially answered but I thought I'd provide more detail.
The skill-queue can have skills queued up to 24 hours, and the final skill in the queue can go past that. You can fit as many skills as you like in until the 24 hour limit, at which point it's best to put in a longer train. For example, you can have dozens of 20 minute skills in that time, or you can have one 23 hour and 59 minute skill and then another after that which can be as long as you like. It may sound a little confusing, but you'll figure it out pretty quick I'm sure.
On capsule loss - You CAN lose your capsule, as a previous poster stated. One thing you have to make sure to do is keep your clone updated - that is to say, every now and then after a fair chunk of skill training visit a med-bay and upgrade your clone. Every time you die this resets as well, so make sure to update your clone if you lose your pod. If you fail to do this you'll lose SP from your longest trained skill.
You will also lose your implants. Implants are things which you can stick into your head to give you attribute bonuses, skill bonuses, etc. These typically make your skills train faster, so it's well worth getting a cheap set of +2 attribute implants to help you on your way at the start.
There's a handy trick you can use in highsec and lowsec to get your pod out 100% of the time. When you're about to lose your ship, or you see big red letters saying 'POD EJECTED' on your screen, select a celestial object like a planet, station, or stargate on your overview by clicking it and mash the 's' key. That's the hotkey for warp - your pod will warp away instantly if you do this correctly and it's impossible to catch it if you do this correctly, apart from when in an interdiction bubble, which is only found in nullsec and wormhole space. |

Hit me up in either game, Master, I will "dust off" my EvE character to help ya out.. But, don't ask me to mine with ya, I hate mining.. But if ya need someone to refine your ore, that I can do, better than most.. |

Really been enjoying PvE missions. I mine occasionally just to get some extra ISK when I'm waiting for a certain skill to train. I think I want to get deeper into the Minmatar Role playing.
I went out to Caldari Space because I was going to join a corp, it just didn't feel like home. Then I did a security mission for Caldari, and in the Mission there was a Hostile Minmatar Navy Ship...
I didn't want to lose standing with my Minmatar brethren. I didn't want Caldari LP, I want Minmatar LP! I don't want to be stationed in Caldari Space, it's not rusty enough!
i just couldn't do it anymore, I felt like I was betraying my people. |

Master Jaraiya wrote:I really love DUST 514. It is honestly a great game, even with its few bugs and what not. I have been getting more and more intrigued by New Eden in general. I went out and picked up Templar One, which I'm about to start reading presently. I started a 14 day trial just to see what all this EVE hype was about. I'm not a PC gamer per se, so I went and looked up the system requirements. Turns out my lil ol' Mac Book Unibody is sufficient to run it. So, I'm currently downloading the client. CCP, you have made a fanboy out of me! I guess, with my love for RPG gaming, it wasn't that difficult to reel me in though! Next step, begin working on the neckbeard So, does anybody have any pointers for an EVE noob? Let the trolling begin! don't touch the cargo container outside your station when you undock the first time, seriously, just don't. |

I walked through a gate camp couple of days ago, I hope you are familiar with them, the only thing that saved me was they were all in Dessies, cruisers, or smaller, and I was passing through in a battleship..... One guy managed to scram me, I neuted him so fast he couldn't hold me for long. |

Big things slipping through a gate camp is a sign of a bad gate camp. However, it also helps when the big thing isn't a bad pilot as well, so +1.
I've had noob moments and died to bad camps before. |

I'm currently still in a frigate so hopefully it doesn't happen too soon either. :P
My second day though, I accepted a "duel" got pod killed and lost my Implant .
Because, I guess griefing noobs is a thing... |

I just don't think they expected such a big prize, most panicked, those who fired made it scary as hell. |

see the problem with hisec is that u think ur safe, if someone wants u dead they can still kill u they'll just lose the ship theyre flying, thats all. also u dont know who is freindly and who's a threat untill its too late.

I'm now finding it difficult to decide between playing DUST 514 or playing EVE Online!
CCP, you are doing an excellent job! You really made me a New Eden Fanboi!
I can't wait to see DUST 514 content filled out! (racial dropsuit parity)
I definitely can't wait to see the DUST 514/EVE link developed more! It will be truly EPIC! |
