No because those suits will only come out when the player market arrives, they then proceed to rake in more ISK then you ever made in 2 months by selling them for millions then buy Officer gear with it and wipe you with it, without having to play for it. |

I've played, oh, about 90% of all days since I first started some time around February. I've bought a few Aurum packs, a Merc pack and a Veteran pack.
I couldn't care less if returning players get 500 unique suits, a castle of their choice to live in and a golden pogostick to show off with in the warbarge. If it gets them back to playing the game, then so be it.
I do understand what's getting people all riled up about this - but that doesn't mean they get my sympathy. In fact, this thread reminds me of why I've never been sad to not have any siblings. So much drama over basically nothing. |

Again, the 60day free loot tactic is valid and a good incentive, but for guys with 20 million sp and butt loads of isk, taking a two month break to get rare loot is very inticing.
How about a solution of using that last tab in the battle finder: the other contracts one. Say a dev hunt, or some type of 'hackattack' event thing with the rare loot rewards so to reward those who play quite actively.
Sounds good? Awesome alright, let's stop being dicks to each other! |

This will be in vein,anyone who's tried dust and didn't like it isn't coming back.no matter how many sprinkles you put on mediocre ice cream,they've played,judged, left and forgot the game,their dust experience over for them.The game left a bad taste in new players mouths(being out geared,no SP reset,protostomped etc.)who would go back to that? New content and better gameplay/mode desgin("tanks in TDM ?,are kinding me?"-newberry) are the only way to get players to try again. |

Seems like an odd reply to my statement. My point is CCP offering special items to entice players to return that loyal players can't get when they could easily offer them stacks of 100 from their current offerings. The Black Eagles is also a crappy choice to give a lower skill player consider it has only 1 high slot and no low slots. They enter a match in one of those and they'll be wiped out fast.

I am irrationally bitter about this...best rewards I've seen in my time playing dust and they go to people who haven't even cared to log on for 2 months???
