No.. seriously... i actually be serious for once.. that is one of the best aim-assist is seen in ANY Console. Keep it as it is CCP, don't do anything stupid. |

Why take any pride in your in-game accomplishments when you need a crutch? I dont mean to bash but, big deal if you owned with an assist. It's there for people who can't aim on their own, turn it off if you're doing so well |

I was actually partially trolling because I usually disagree with 99.9% of what panther says.
I don't mind Aim Assist, I turned it off because it hinders me more than anything. I've been using the ScR for a long time now so I have developed my aiming too much to let the assist take over. |

Have to agree, I don't even notice it drag sometimes. In fact most of the time aim assist barely even kicks in for my forge at all until about 10m, or so, close
Dunno why everyone is calling it aimbot even though the keyboard guys have their advantage to their high accuracy and fast movements and then they complain about getting whopped by a DS3 player and call it aimbot.
Sounds pretty cool doesn't it. And now since it helps with aiming they call it aimbot. Just because the weapon slows down and drags it with the target SLIGHTLY it doesn't mean its aimbutt. Its an ASSIST. It might need to be toned but hey since keyboard guys get the advantage of super smooth controlling on player grounds and high accuracy why shouldn't the DS3 get an advantage?
Tell me an ACTUAL reason why it needs to be toned down a tad. Not just screaming AIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMBOOOOOOOOOT all the time. |

I actually can aim very well with a mouse... well.. when it works how it suppose to anyway. But considering that this is a Console game.. if CCP keeps this aim assist, i won't worry about the mouse any longer. |

Why diminish the advantage more skilled players already have? Why take lesser players and force them onto a playing field they dont belong on because they're just tired of getting beat down?
I understand why they have it, but having an overly generous aim assist to keep scrubs in the mix while washing out vets who actually take pride in learning it and doing it right without any help is not the way to do it. Madden 2010-12 failed similarly hard when their main advertising point was "a 6 year old can play with an adult and win!!"
Why? You're not good at it, tough ****. Learn to aim better. They dont need a hyper active aim assist just to keep players interested and keep the #s up. |

I don't even notice the difference at all. When Aim assist was turned off I still forged fine. Probably because my Aim assist is off.

My aim is fine. and in Call of duty the aim assist is very strong. If you aim down sights to any side of an enemy it will automatically place your sights on there chest. Dust doesn't have that it just simple helps you track a little better. |

A mouse is more of a crutch than aim assist on analog, you guys make it seem like its gta lock on. Its not like cod where u can feel it tugging on guys through walls, u dont actually feel it at all, even battlefield auto aim u can feel. This. This is just right. |

People just have to learn that running straight on the guy shooting you is a bad idea.
Bunny hoping doesnt work when I can still shoot your legs.
Scout suits get killed, you know they are scout suits right... LOW hp?
Aim assist doesnt even feel like it is working, though it must be for so many to QQ.
I see more deaths than anything because no one is using the active scanners like they should.
Hiding behind a corner doesnt do you any good when the entire team sees you glistening like a christmas tree... |

I primarily use sixaxis controllers (one of mine is old enough that it isn't a dualshock) too.
And I'm also against the level of aim assist in the game, though I'm not against them having it in at all. |

Yes CCP, please remove all skill and variety from the game. Keep this great training wheel aim assist as is and ensure that within 2 weeks everyone will run heavies with AR.
I applaud you for killing the scout suit, those bastards never deserved to be able to evade. At least now we're guaranteed to hit them and their puny little tanks.
(Yes, I'm being sarcastic.)
Dust is now officially a shooter with training wheels. Took me a few weeks to become good at aiming with the scrambler pistol. Turns out that was a waste of time because thanks to aim assist, everyone's now just as good with the scrambler pistol and skill doesn't really matter anymore. |

Using a Mouse is "Lazy"?...go and try one.. and when you shoulder starts to be in pain... come back all talk me that again.
I think this Aim-assist is a "good" compromise.. that is it... is making the game FUN.
You know FUN... i actually enjoying playing this game again, last time i did enjoy it.. was at the "beginning" of the Open Beta. |

Why would I? I can AIM without the damn thing that said since the smaller update today it does not seemas hyper as it was yesterday, still turned it back off tho as I find it annoying |
