Yes, these are the official SI sets though. This was just the order they were served up to us to do them. As I stated before, I have already seen a few instances of concept artists doing some conceptualization / art exploration of the Amarr syle as well. I just remember seeing a cathedral looking place with some shiny metallic gold like stuff. Very gold, techno goth stuff going on. They are coming. |

Are these maps switching between different planets or are they set planets that a map is exclusive to? And by map I don't mean the structures. I mean the surrounding terrain of hills, valleys, and mountains. |

In my opinion, more maps are the one thing that can keep Dust interesting in the short term, so the more that get pumped out, and the more unique they are, the happier I'll be. |

Us scouts are going to have some fun. Bio mass is currently my fav. Maybe this map will change that. |

WOW this map looks great, but i just want confirmation that some 'design errors' arent a problem in this new map. For example, LAVs being able to squeeze into areas they aren't suppose to.
But yeah as long as there is legitimate indor areas where vehicles can't reach (specificly LAVs) im good (coming from a dropship pilot).
And there looks like a place where i ,the dropship pilot, can land and drop off my squad and not get rammed by LAVs. Seriously i hate LAVs now... once i called in a dropship and was taking off then an LAV drove up, stoped, reversed 5m and rammed me completely killing my dropship while i was taking off from 5m... make sense. |

As I stated before, I have already seen a few instances of concept artists doing some conceptualization / art exploration of the Amarr syle as well. I just remember seeing a cathedral looking place with some shiny metallic gold like stuff. Very gold, techno goth stuff going on. They are coming.
It's my favorite outpost and it isn't even out yet. If any of the concept art were to... you know, magically appear in the internet (lol) I would greatly appreciate! Already feels good just to know that they are playing with it tough. "Very gold, techno goth stuff" = perfect. |

So I was taking a gander at this 1.4 blog and was thinking, "ok, so this might be cool, fighting in a laboratory-esque battleground, that'll be refreshing to see something other than cargo containers and the occasional console."
Then I read this part: Main Research Facility and Administrative Offices: The lower floor of this area contains the storage depot, where incoming supplies are delivered and stored until needed. The upper floors house administrative offices and micro-labs, which are locked down and inaccessible while under attack.
Nevermind, just more cargo containers.
Making a laboratory based battleground that, "should look and feel like a real working laboratory, the sort filled with people in lab coats."

Only because the upper floors of some buildings are inaccessible it doesn't mean that the overall theme of the place can be summed up in "cargo boxes". Actually, the laboratory IS accessible in the underground and I'm sure it won't look like anything we have right now. Also, there is the wepons testing platform. Hell, even the small sockets look neat. Take a look at the security scan one. No boxes around, just a giant, neat EMR for checking vehicles cargo, stairs to the upper floor and a window in the back with accessible interior. Cheer up man, let go the ingrained will to complain over nothing and you will see that it does indeed look good. |

Cargo containers in the supply warehouse. Yes. That is the case. Cargo containers anywhere else in the facility? Pretty much nope.
