Just like in Eve Online, you have 4 massive ships that take quite long to build and gather the isk for. I am thinking a large vehicle (aerial class) about maybe 100-250 metres in size and this will only be allowed in large maps. I am guessing this would come after all other aerial vehicles especially fighters, because they will need to help intercept and engage.
I am guessing that this vehicle must have a base hp high enough, require logi-ships and its own reppers to survive.
These ships, should also be able to hold a capacity of around 20-30 players (passengers), who stand in the bay ready to drop when the pilot says.
Hull for each faction: 10-12 large turret. 5-6 medium turrets (once they are implemented)
HP:
Gallente: 5% bonus to hybrid turrets per level 20 000 Shields 100 000 Armour
Caldari: 5% bonus to missile turrets per level 100 000 Shields 20 000 Armour
Amarr: 5% bonus to energy based turrets per level 40 000 Shields 80 000 Armour
Minmatar: 5% bonus to projectile turrets per level 80 000 Shields 40 000 Armour
I am guessing that with amount of HP, these will have to have built in mega reps (with a higher rep ability per pulse for its prominent method of tanking) e.g.
- Gallente (armour tanking) 4000hp for armour 500hp for shield - Caldari (shield tanking) 4000hp for shield and 500 hp for armour - Amarr (armour tanking) 3000hp for armour 1500hp for shield - Minmatar (shield tanking) 3000hp for shield and 1500 hp for armour
These would require a small amount of spider tanking going on in heavy engagements.
I have always thought that one of these titans-types for dust would be awesome. |

100k armor 20k shields that would take a full team or AV 15-20 mins to kill and a slim change to kill it if its fully manned nothing like a instant win button

A single tank can take on a 7200 HP Bolas without overheating, I'm saying this is a idea for the future. 10000HP tanks can get molested by 1 av'er so please so say its op. These will be required for domination on full scale large maps, with large players on each side, of bloody course there will need to be dedicated AV. |

If CCP was going to implement some crazy-expensive hardcore vehicles, then having a massive ground-vehicle/walker on the scale of an AT-AT would be more fitting to DUST than a ship that takes up the whole skybox. |

Dude, WW1 is over. We don't need a moving barn with guns on it, lets get something smart, like a normal tank with a emphasis on self tank, or spider tanking.

The lowest it should be is 10-30 metres.

Titans were rather bad for EVE, you know. Also, this is hopelessly overpowered. Raw ISK cost isn't a balancing factor when you bring in uber powerful things. |

Well, this is just a suggestion, they may take up this idea and work on it, as I said, this a dead ship if left unsupported. It will be under constant fire because of its size, fighters, heavy aerial vehicles, assault dropships. |

This vehicle will be extremely slow, half the speed of a tank and it can't hide, like tanks can or dropships in time. If the "titan" wants to survive it needs dedicated logi's and aerial support, infantry can run faster than the "titan".

If you read the early DevBlogs, and watch the 2009 presentation, these things carry both us and our vehicles down the the surface, have crazy ehp, and even have a pair of what appear to be XL turrets mounted underneath, that I would bet can be manned by two additional players. |

If you had 12 people in this thing and 3 of them outside hacking the objectives you just completely dominate the entire match.

Are you out of your mind? that means over 75% of the whole team would be manning the stupid thing,Who would be capturing objectives. Or otherwise being useful while your lumbering blimp does lazy circles and the stupid blue dots shoot aimlessly from the on board turrets. I would like to see the total number of players in battles to rise to 48, but atm its probably best to keep it at 32 for the sake lag and server issues.Would you like to add a nuke too? |

Maybe in the future when we have more stuff. People shouting OP are doing so based off AV we have today. But imagine once we have a bunch of different aerial vehicles that could dish out massive payloads or our own deployable null-cannon like structures that we can focus on the ships. |

Dude are you ******* blind? 20k hp in one cycle every 30 seconds, The total EHP for this vehicle is 120,000 it would take just about 4 minutes to rep up fully.......... That's why there needs to be logi support! Tank with Active Heat Sink II can dish out 11,000 damage before over-heating. |

MCC was planed to be player controlled eventually. It is the size OP suggested. Trailer showed hull cost of 120 million isk, if I remember correctly.
This will not be feasible until we have larger teams, less of map in readzone, better PC mechanics. I'm sure this will one day happen, but will probably be years away.
Number of turrets is a bit much, and in closed beta when mcc was mobile it was about 1/2 heavy suit walking speed. |
