Explain in blinding detail what is glitchy about melee....if you cannot then stop calling it a glitch or an exploit. The mechanic that is Glitched and allowing people to melee approximately 5-8 times in 1 second is that Sprinting cancels the melee cooldown. When you sprint while reloading you cancel the reload and do not restore the magazine. Sprinting will also cancel the melee cooldown, however unlike reloading cancellation through sprint you are allowed to perform the requested action. THIS IS A GLITCH. AN UNINTENDED MECHANIC. And it's called Stamina mods, you know the green pill bottles. On top of that players most known for using this exploit have maxed their melee damage and are using myofibril stimulants with the stamina mods. Thereby allowing them to kill my 1150EHP heavy in less than a second with four hits in very rapid succession, sometimes so quickly that you only hear the thump from the melee once maybe twice.
Thank you. just to be clear if the cool down was fixed you would be ok with how much damage melee does without using the sprint exploit?
Cuz you seem to be mixing the two up. You have an exploit complaint with the sprint cool down thing and an OP complaint with the damage stacking.
Perhaps you should not be adding the op complaint and hiding it under an exploit complaint.
I have been killed by a super melee guy....but it seemed he was just timing it well. I do not think such players should be thrown under the bus simply because you and others do not differentiate between exploit and OP. |

Catch 22, Assault sucks inside 10 meters but you need to be there to get the most out of Assault MD? You won't get anyone to stop what they are doing and move immediately if you lower the damage, that is what suppression is for.
Explosion vs armor bug has already been pointed out, 96 to armor is fine, plus Armor is getting a boost anyway. Also doing 64 per shot to shields unless you carry a flux, but that requires you to be in CQC, which the Assault sucks in. |

I just dont want it to do 80 at the very edge of the blast.
And I'm not saying that it should do more damage in CQC, I'm saying it should do more damage if the projectile lands at the feet of the enemy. |

Do you even know what you're talking about at this point? This "buff" means nothing to armor tankers except more speed. MD's and nades and flaylock pistols still just as effective against armor as they were.
And people "complaining" about this means something is wrong. When last you heard a complaint about the HMG? When last you heard a complaint about the Laser or scrambler rifles? When last you heard a complaint about the flaylock pistol?
Fact is people seeing the blast radius of this noobcannon as being too much, and it's true. Getting rewarded for NOT hitting your target....lol?
But hey, people defended the Tact AR to the death, people swore the FLP were "fine" and the Caldari logi suit was "ok"... all got nerfed, and soon your noobery will get nerfed as well. |

Wouldn't CCP not deciding to do anything to Breach or Assault suggest that it is just QQ and not OP? We've been over this before, the majority of the community don't believe at least the Assault or Breach are OP, and TBH the QQ is just getting old. I have yet to hear anyone who has used all 3 variants lay out why they all are OP, nothing except OMG SPLASH TOO WIDE DAMAGE TOO MUCH without taking account each variant outside of their optimal. |

Tap R3 and L3 while walking forward.
If on keyboard, walking forward, but with Shift and Q.
Now imagine someone stacking, green, blue and red biotics, hitting for over 400 Damage.
My problem doesn't lie with its damage, if someone has the balls to spec into melee they should be able to achieve that damage. But they should not be able to hit that quickly. |

It already does it's called Direct damage, and again lowering the splash damage more would take away the weapons purpose, especially since HP is going to be alot bigger with the Armor boost in 1.4. Most of the time proto Assault is doing 64 damage to you at the beginning, since it's hitting shields, this should be enough to let you know you have to go or the 96 damage is going to kick in. Taking this into account anyone with 3+ Complex Shield mods can tank 4 shots at least before the shields go down. |

What would you suggest Lowering the splash down to? Pre 1.2 I could get the Boundless Assault to work(the only viable MD at the time), but ADV Assault was underwhelming as far as damage and splash goes, and this is before the 1.4 patch that's about to take effect in a week. And I can guarantee you if we bring the MD back to Pre 1.2 levels, there will still be people crying about the MD, that's just the nature of the weapon. |

Which is actually fine by me, but you do realize they would have to increase the MD damage to compensate for the fall out, or the MD would be useless as a suppression weapon? |

Can someone please explain to me why the mass driver is not allowed to be really good? How is the ar not fotm? I get killed by way more duvolles than mass drivers (one could argue that the ar is the flavor of the game).All those QQ threads are getting anoying (especially those with no arguments). |
