And??? Was there a point to this Reply??? It neither validates/invalidates his "Math" nor informs us of the Tank Type/Build he uses. 100% - 30% still =/= 80%.....

still waiting on Sagaris tho Increase lock time is by 0.2sec as opposed to a 1.7 sec delay reduction. Also with the new skill the lock time can be brought below the current by .15sec, giving a total reduction of 1.85 sec/volley for anyone who can use proto swarms. |

with swarm launcher operation on 5 and with the new bonus you will be aible to lock on faster and fire aswell faster then previously. And why nerf the clipsize? There was nothing wrong with it in the first place. I would really like to know who came up with this idea? Clipsize nerf and huge buff to the rate of fire. In my opinion the swarms shoulda had stayed how they where before. But meh now its official: the swarm launcher does more DPS then a assault forgegun. |

Yeah its not like theres going to be enough tanks running around to make 16 people drool uncontrolable while they all hop into a Swarmafit and rollRoflface over the keyboard while extending the double middlefinger courtesy of up yours buddy! Then blow you up like youve deserved it for the last 4 patches.
I seriously hope with this change i can actually again round a corner and not get a shot in the face from a near silent tank not showing on the minimap, witch has Unlimited ammo and rapes 950 EHP ProtoFace in a single shot.
Whenever i see a tank, i get instantly reminded of Invader Zim while he is invading his own homeplanet "PULL THOSE LEVERS, PUSH THOSE KNOBS"...
In planetside 2 when i see a tank, its ussally too bussy fighting other vehicles to bother with me, in Dust they are kinda like the Infantry Lawnmower....

They take too long to lock on, the swarms are too slow until they get within kill distance and they certainly won't make it to the flight ceiling if that guy is climbing at a halfway decent rate. What many of you also fail to realize is that after the SL fires there is an extremely long delay between you being able to switch weapons, sprint, DO ANYTHING. It's essentially a 1+ second overheat without damage/cooldown after every shot. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure this "buff" fixes the sprinting and weapon switch issues. A decently fit dropship will tank a multiple proto level swarms without a problem. With this iteration we will have to reload CONSTANTLY. Giving you a huge window to get away. As it stands now a proto level swarm will hold 5 rounds in a clip and what? A measly 3 or 4 in the pool if you have the ammo maxed out? How weird does that look. Everyone gets it, drop ships are very weak right now, but you guys really need to quit with this stuff.
i agree with this post i run proto swarm but oftern have a corp member supporting on a STD swarm along side so dont think your that fragile plus a good pilot is almost impossible to take down as you can outrun them easily. |

Sounds like he runs a shield tank, swarms do something like 80% damage to them. My shield tank eats swarms like candy. Yum Yum |

ok so lets look at this i run proto swarm
squad vision is being disabled in 1.4 so it will be a lot harder for me to locate you
when i fire a swarm i light up like a xmas tree as six missiles fly across the map leaving trails that lead right back to me so i am totally visable to every sniper on the map
my clip is being reduced from 5 to 3
my overal ammo pool is being increased by 3 to 10 from 7
yes it is a buff but running SL is risky just make sure you have a good sniper on overwatch and use llavs as they are intended to repair you not as very hard murder taxis
and belive me if you have a llav repping you you wont have to worry as the increased damage will be negated |

Why would you want to play solo in a multiplayer game. Tanking is so much more effective with teamwork. You can't carry your team with just your tank and heck your team can't keep you alive with just them. Even with teamwork tanks are a ***** to keep alive. |

as said earlier in this thread but put a little differently a commando suit with 2 proto swarms will look like the Burning big bang (skip to 18:52) from Zoids except every one of those missiles will be invisible lol |

If a Rail Tank rounds a corner & 1-Shots your Proto Suit.....they are GOD & nobody had AV (How'd they even get to that corner from Redline in the 1st place???). If a Blaster Tank 1-Shots your Proto Suit.....you are BOTH LYING!!!!! LOL @ Missile Turret |
