Prototype minmatar scout with melee. By far the most fun playstyle in dust and it looks to be different from your current play style. If that's not to your liking then minmatar commando with a combat rifle and mass driver/swarm launcher is very fun.

A sniper rfile's optimal range is 400 meters. An assault rifles optimal is like 45 meters. Also, sniper rifles got a huge damage buff. A headshot can do more than 1500 damage with a charge sniper rifle.
