Proximity Explosives are actually really great. At level four demolitions you can set down nine proximites (4 Proximity Explosive and 5 F/49 Proximity Explosive). If there is a break in the action, I'll swap fits at a supply depot, set the proxies and swap back. It's always nice to get a random kill later on in the match because of them.

If you already got it ignore this. Fastest heavy in the game, i chase down scouts in it. Heres the fit, 2 comp kin cats and 2 comp precision.You get the jump on all heavies and just outstrafe them. Youll just want the heavy frame its faster than the sentinel w 70 less hp but its neglible since i strafe out most damage. Also the cal commando i see you have lv 3 but the lv 5, 3 damage mods, and rail rifle prof 5 just melts anything. Also swarms on that bad boy w 3 damage mods is ridiculous.

You can tank it in both shield and armor aswell. Atleast go adv. on it, but Proto is always better. I've learned to not rage at this game anymore because it just doesn't matter anymore.

I like to run a fitting that's fairly unconventional, even for Melee, but also pretty damn fun, but can get pretty expensive, which probably won't be an issue for you, Mr. Richy McRich Pants. Prototype Caldari Commando with Three Complex MyoStims and a Complex KinCat or CardReg. I personally use the KinCat due to the fact this suit is pretty slow, but a CardReg is also a good choice considering the Caldari Commando's crappy stamina stats. Weapons and equipmsent don't really matter here, use whatever you want. Hell, you can even fit a Basic Cloak given you've got max fitting skills. Of course with a cloak you'll be severely gimped in the weapons department. Oh right, yeah, this fit does 990 Melee Damage. Enough to one-shot the majority of players, including weaker heavies. Expensive, but great fun, you might even get some hatemail. Just a bit ago a butthurt heavy called me a hacker after I one-shot him a couple times. One word of warning though, when using Melee, regardless of the suit, you will die, a lot. Even when you get good at using Melee, you will still die often. *FIRE UP THE HEAVY MEAT GRINDER! WE'RE HAVING CLONE BURGERS TONIGHT, BOYS!*

I have a decent amount of SP invested in that weapon and it is absolutely fun to use. It's not OP like the Bolt Pistol and it has suffered only minor nerfs at all since its introduction. Once you max out its proficiency you can wreck most armored suits. It's also an effective backup to the Assault Rifle which -- when combined -- allows you to have the ability to wreck the shields with the AR and then wreck the armor with the SMG for a good kill. But if you really want a tough challenge, then I recommend the Nova Knives. It has equal proficiency against both shields and armor. However, I highly discourage you from ever skilling past leveI 3 on the fitting optimization for the knives since the bonus currently has no impact on the PG usage past that level due to the nature of percentages and really small numbers. If you have any SP left over from that, use it to get your Minmatar Scout as close to level 5 as you can to take advantage of the Nova Knife damage output. The SMG can almost complement the Nova Knives as backup. If your initial strike fails to OHK your target and your target has gained a little distance from you, switch to the SMG and kill them off since the shields will likely be gone during that moment. This is great since the event will also reward you 1000 SP for every sidearm kill you get during the event (up to 750,000 SP). So you're already going to be getting a decent return for your investment. But again, this is only if you want a real challenge with the knives. Though these sharp objects have gotten buffs, they still require plenty of practice and patience. PS: Avoid FoTM. Gal in particular. Brick dat thang! One biotic for sprint. Damage mod in highs. Cloak if you prefer, but I'd go with two different links in both or link and nano or scanner. Run around, flank and circle opponents, unload. Sure that's the idea of a scout anyway, but it is funner with duel sidearms. Pop links to provide team effort or pop them in obvious and danger close areas as distract to draw opponents into your "web". THIS IS THE VOICE OF RÁN

I love the gun and i think it may be getting a damage buff as well. I would also recommend getting demolitions to 5 and using proximity mines. Can have 15 active if you use all 3 types so nothing would really live through that. Its funny getting tanks to chase you through an area you littered with them.

What I am surprised about is that you have a scout yet you don't have the kinetic katalizers at level 5. Not every scout needs a kincat but, having it makes for a completely different suit. For example you could have a scout with kinkats and droplinks. This guy would start either a PC battle or a domination. This is the guy that will run and get there first and start to mobilize the troops. It is also the guy who can change the battle by regrouping the troops. Let me elaborate on that point. Suppose you are in a Domination game and the enemy is pinning you guys down not letting you get close to the letter. A fast scout with kinkats and droplinks can go around and drop links on the other side of the map giving the other troops the opportunity to get back in the game. In my oppinion, the best guy for this job is the minmatar scout because it is the fastest and can also hack fast. However, you can do this with any scout. Since you already have a caldari try this tactic on your next game. You will notice the difference. My second advice is to chooce a weapon to specialize in and level up the proficiency to 5. If you get anything out of thins then think of it this way. Think about what skills will make you more marketable towards other corporations. By that I mean, if an allied corps are going to a PC and they need help then which skills are most on demand and then spec up on those. So in sumarry either 1) level up the kinlats and make a level starter scout or 2) Choose a weapon to level up the proficiency.

Use the supercharged turret (activate damage mods before you switch from driver's seat) 3. Roadkill Also super fun if you have two Sentinel friends that can also join you. Bring beers and cookies.
