I've been able to burst it really fast, really smooth intervals, natural, no lag on the bursts like with CR if you know what I mean (though CR is still amazing). Each burst is devastating with Prof 4 and 2 dmg mods. Allotek murders face. Still a lot of armor tankers out there who stand and fight once down into armor so this tears off shields quick but they'll peak out again and just 2-3 more drill and theyre down.
With Gal Assault skilled up now after MCC I can really feel a difference. Burst AR is so smooth. TAR still has a lot of kick, especially in hip fire, but takes pieces outta fools.
BUt shhhh don't tell
EDIT: The kick is pretty pulsy and vertical, unlike CR kick which goes lateral as much as vertical and again with Gal assault it's pretty smooth. |

just wait until you try out the breach or the tactical. The ar is back to being the best gun in dust. Except for the bolt pistol of course

Ha. Welcome back to the AR514 club fellas. Myself and a few other gallente loyalists (o7 Kirk, Cuse, Arkena), were starting to get lonely in this very exclusive club.

It will be even better after CCP applies the change in the "hot fix" of Hotfix Delta, giving it one more round per burst!!

Burst AR? Im liking the TAR and the Breach but ive never really understood the Burst AR. Can someone help me with burst timing? And also with the Normal AR? I can't seem to get as many kills with those as much as the Breach and TAR

Its similar like with ol' AvP
if you dont like timin' and double clicks try CR its better to click that right
and BTW TAR is beast now, if you have skilled in dont change

You may be surprised to hear/read this....but with the full auto AR tap the trigger as fast as possible to overload the RPM.

Basically, and there is no fire interval on fully auto weapons so you can pretty much fire as fast as you can pull the trigger.

In my time we called it staggin' or stagger shootin'
Basicaly how i told him with the AvP and doubleclickin'
