I came back from a month of not playing Dust. I read in the 1.7 updates that "smart deploy is smarter." Spawned at the very beginning of an Ambush in my Proto suit. Instantly died.

I'm pretty sure during the first month or 2 of playing Dust my KDR was permanently screwed. Toward the end of the match - sometimes when our team wasn't losing - I would commit suicide many times so it would be the only thing on the kill feed.

Yeah the speed penalty is really unfair when compared to the armor bonus. It just means a basic Rail Rifle can target a proto suit easier because it moves slower, killing it in a split second.
