Needs more variants... an assault variant with low damage and high splash for anti personnel and a breach/std variant with zero to almost no splash and high direct damage for AV work. Same should probably go for the forge gun.

Yeah the shield recharge rate on HAVs is a little silly... dropsuits should not be out recharging vehicles. This would help armor tanks a fair bit as well I think if you gave them a little boost as well as that shield buffer can really help with ...
