OP , this is not really all directed at you. Sorry if it seems so, been several logi hate posts lately giving us bad names. We do not make you immortal, CCP does that by allowing you to respawn.

You aren't my revive servant but when a logi literally runs over my body while I spamming the call for help button I kind of hope they might stop from their oh so busy schedule of ....well not logi-ing.... to do some.... well Logi-ing...

Logis are meant for the "technical" part of a squad/team, this doesn't necessarily mean reviving you every time you die. Yes sometimes a logi doesn't heal you even though he (or she) is right beside you. But have some faith!!!! The logis get shot at just as much as the frontline warriors do, so if you go down in a firefight, don't freak out because you weren't revived right away, wait a few seconds because the logi might be clearing out the reds so that he can revive you!!!! That's my 2 cents

The problem here is that the area may not be clear to rez someone. Unlike in MAG, where rezing is very quick and can be done from a few meters away and during a firefight (sometimes), you have to stand on top of someone in Dust and go through a several second animation. If there's an enemy around, chances are both of you will die. You also cannot move the camera or see what's going on around you when downed in Dust (which needs fixing, IMO). Perhaps you're not seeing the group of enemies staring at you, waiting for a logi to come and start rezing you. Or the sniper trying to hit the logi as he comes over. Maybe he's ignoring you because a squadmate went down ahead of you and he wants to get them first. Yes, sometimes you have just bad logis around. But often, there are other reasons.

Minmatar Citizen using Caldari equipment, not Minmatar...perhaps a name-change is needed... Face it, you were an Assault Logi, not a real Logi. I can tank just fine in my Gallente logi as I rez people, and do plenty of damage when I'm not dropping Hives or Uplinks for the team.

I play Logi on an alt occasionally and will probably skill into a logi suit on this character eventually. You know what I have noticed: 1.) Players don't wait for you to catch up to their mad run and gun game, to allow you to provide proper support, force multiplication, entrenchment etc.... 2.) Players expect you to run into a gunfight and revive them no matter what 3.) When you die in your super expensive fit with all that ADV/Pro gear.... no one fuckin' picks you up. 4.) Then they send you hate-mail.

It's equipment, logis use equipment, so that's a logi doing their job. You seem to be dead set on a logi's equipment slots being filled with a repper, nanohives, and an injector while following people around with a repair tool. That's not always the case depending on someone's play style. For example, I use a speedy hacker fitting with the Minmatar suit and run around the map laying out REs/Mines, uplinks, and triage hives while using the active scanner to scout the area. Does this count as a logi doing their job in your eyes?

Maybe if there were actual roles to be played in this game, Logis would be more inclined to perform a support role. CCP should look to Eve and the capabilities of Logi ships to see what I mean. Currently, in Dust, there's really only one role - Slayer. Everything else is just slayer with a little salt. I guess less people like salt than you would like.

Ummm no I'm overwatch so I'm Tossing down uplinks all over the map, plus I only snipe if my team can handle themselves.
