The problem is not lag its a glitch the results in your shots going off at a 45 degree angle when strafing hard or turning hard. the gun fires on time but the shot goes off in some different direction than were your aiming. think of it like the ...

If any vehicle users recall that sometimes when using small missile launchers the projectile would go off at a 45 degree angle from the aim point for no apparent reason. This seams to have somehow transferred to shotguns though not in the same way...
