Get an LLAV and do ambush style hit-and-runs, or get somone with a Core Repair Tool and stake out an urban environment with hallways together, otherwise yeah heavies with HMGs are kinda bad.

Why not make it where RDVs have to fly in, pick up your vehicle, and fly out. This would make more sense and be more balanced then the insta-poof mechanic, damaged or not.
