Why dont you do logistics suit? I mean if it so OP then why arent you doing it?

Sp is a non factor. Everyone will eventually get enough sp to do everything, whether they are playing or not. Logistic suits are hard, because they can do almost anything. Limiting a few things they can do so they focus on logistics isn't such a bad call. |

I have SP into Caldari assault and Amarr logistics. I don't use the logistics much because I want to play an offensive role, not support.
Let's review:
Logistics = support your squad with repair guns, drop uplinks, nanoinjectors, etc. Act as a force multiplier. Should have a weapon as a hold-out "**** has hit the fan" last resort.
Assault = mass genocide of anything that is red.
No paid respecs without massive SP penalties.

Unfortunately it's both. People get their epeens deflated because they are not on top of the leaderboard and start randomly trying to nerf everything they don't use. The Amarr assault and logi's are quite nicely balanced, they should just use that as a model instead of gimping everything that's not an AR assault.

On the other hand with the LP, even without the player market, it will "pay for itself" if you can buy normally expensive isk items with LP, or better yet items that you can't get besides LP/Salvage.

agreed...and we already have expensive suits that arent worth there cost like 180k heavies

I know but I won't be losing very much money since I have fits that cost me as low as 6k a piece. Also I'll be able to get my LP scrambler rifles so that makes up for it in my opinion. Also only 4 vehicle bpos are being removed. |

Interest and temperament.
Some have played Logi, got bored and are now doing something else, while others will try it later on.
Others prefer particular styles of play which other suits, on the surface, seem to meet. |
