Heck yes! It was the music he kept playing over the comms during matches. Sure his tanking was annoying, and his badmouthing on the forums wasn't much better but it was the blasting music over the comms that we all hated.

I completely forgot about the music part. I just remembered him perching himself on that one hill and going 60-0 with the tank.

Haha, Bad Furry was one of my favorites, along with Mr. Zitro. Even if he was wrong, he was still so damn entertaining.

My introduction to DUST 514 involved back to back games of BAD FURRY running around in his scout blowing everything to hell with his proto swarms. I remember watching him jump right next to my heavy, explode me into nothing, and just bounce away.

I thought I caught a glimpse of someone in a tank named BAD FURRY. I hoped he was back so I could destroy his tank. Over and over and over again. Like he did to me when I had less than a month into the game.
The karmic book need to be balanced. :p

Bad Furry was in Pro? I remember him being in one of the early public chats, but there were quite a few in there that weren't necessarily "in Pro". I guess it was at least rumored that he was possibly going to join, but I didn't think it was ever much more than a consideration.
I actually squaded with him a bit around that time, he was surprisingly pleasant when he wasn't trying to be an *******. When I asked him, he said he only played the music to draw attention to the lack of push to talk and segmented chat. IMO, it was still an overly obnoxious way of doing it.
He was the only person I ever saw field a Spec Ops HAV in person. Those were the TRUE proto tanks, 2.5M ISK each, a built in CRU, a low profile, and a bit more CPU/PG than the Sagaris/Surya. Nobody actually had the ISK to field them back then. |

Yeah, it seemed as though he was "trying to be an *******" about 90% of the time. To me, he always came across as a very elaborate troll. Only acting the way he did for the reactions from the Dust community. When people stopped caring about his shenanigans, he left.
I don't think there was anyone who so closely adhered to every single weapon, tactic, and item that was ever considered over powered or broken. |

I really liked playing with him, actually, because the only times I played with him he was on comms and not just blasting music.
I loved the Swarm Launcher thing because he actually explained to me that his goal was to make everyone so angry at both him and the dumb-fire that it would get nerfed so people couldn't exploit it.
